Action
Who: Prompto Argentum and OPEN
Where: Genessia/Attleton
What: A very early run. Or is it late night? Hard to say.
When: November 25th
Warnings:Probably not. Will update if necessary. Nevermind this got dark. Warnings for Episode Prompto and Chapter 13 of FFXV.
The thing Prompto appreciated most was the safety in the night. Certainly, it wasn't perfect, but there were no daemons around, so when he awoke at some godawful hour, he decided that if he was going to run when he did finally get up anyway, at some other insane hour just later in the morning, he may as well cut out the trying to sleep, tossing and turning and shifting around uncomfortably until the sun was starting to peek over the horizon.
Why bother waiting? It was quite possible that if he expended some more energy he would be able to get some more sleep when he came back. That seemed relatively logical, so he got out of bed, pulled on his clothes. It was kind of cold out and he found himself wondering what had happened to his winter clothes.
He hesitates, shifts his weight and reaches into the armiger. He was in luck, at least, a very small favour that it was there, but he wasn't going to worry about it. It still smelled of gunpowder which made him wrinkle his nose as he zipped it up. It definitely needed to be washed, but that could wait until his run was over.
Prompto made his way outside, stretched a few times and started to run, towards Attleton. He'd probably run through Genessia, Attleton and come back, hopefully a good long run to clear his mind.

[At the request, Prompto smiles and out of nowhere appears his camera in his hand. The armiger was an amazing thing really.]
Take a look!
[He offers the camera, he can push a button and scroll through the card int he camera. There are a few pictures of chocobos and Prompto with three other men, but the rest are from Genessia, the halloween party mainly. No combat photos but well positioned ones.]

Heh, the more things change...
[As a bounty hunter himself, he likes to see others picking up the slack. Or pulling things out of their rear; it's a skill Ted's mastered so well he hardly notices it in others.]
Don't mind if I do!
[Darn, no awesome action scenes. He was ready to get pumped by some pulse-pounding, adrenaline-pumping money shots. Oh well, these are good too. He thoughtfully "hmm"'s over a few, pausing on the one with the oversized birds.]
This one's interesting. What do you call those fowl in the background? And who's the company you're keeping?

Ted. Chocobos are only his favourite topic of conversation!]
Those are chocobos. They are huge fluffy birds we ride. They are really gentle and nice.
[He leans over the screen and points.] Ignis. Gladio and Noctis.

[He's delighted. Pity all the animals in Genessia are soulless, emotionless fakes, give or take a few of the stranger arrivals. But it won't stop him from getting likewise enthused too.]
Chivalrous birds? Hah, I'll never be able to say I've seen everything at this rate. Suppose that's what photography's for.
Oh, I've heard those names. Seen them, too, with exception to Gladio, the large one. Friends of yours?
no subject
I really wish I could show people how amazing they are.
[He tilts his head, Ted has seen Ignis?]
Uh huh. I know Noct is here, I talked to him.

[Yep, those birds are saddled and bridled and everything. He wants to ride one so badly, yet knows he never will. Not unless Genessia plucks a sentient one from somewhere in the universe. Are there sentient chocobos, Prompto? Still, given that it's both like a horse and a bird, he has concerns with just how much ordure that thing produces. Cleaning up after it must be a herculean labor.]
Well that's photography's raison d'etre, isn't it? Keep this up and I'm sure you'll capture all sorts of amazing things.
[He hands the camera back.]
None so amazing as friends, of course. I'm very glad you've one in hand already.
[The other two are hella gone but let's focus on the positive.]
no subject
You're not wrong. That's why you want photographs of things so they're not forgotten.
[Prompto takes the camera and it disappears again.]
I'm g-glad Noct is here, really. [Because everyone else makes him nervous.]
no subject
[his smile brightens a little. Prompto reminds him of Bracken; a little nervous, chipper, friend-minded.]
Me too. Let's hope Genessia sees fit to bring the quartet together again, eh?
no subject
I'd like that but, uh, well, not yet. But maybe!
[He can hold out hope for something like that.]
no subject
Oh, aha, well, you know, they can serve as a kind of currency here, and--it's probably not worth worry. Well, I should probably run what errands I can. It was nice talking to you, Quicksilver.
[Hope he likes that name. Ted sure does.]
I'm looking forward to more photography of yours. Anything you'd like in return? The holiday season is approaching.
no subject
[He likes his name fine, translated or not, but really, Ted can just call him Prompto like everyone else. Really.]
Huh? Oh no. N-nothing. [He laughs, ah yeah, holidays. He'll have to think about what to get Noct.]

[SHOT DOWN]
Aheh, an easy enough gift. Well, just in case, I'll keep my eyes peeled for any chocobos. Have a lovely Friday. I'll endeavor to do the same promptly.
[The wit on this guy I tell you what]
no subject
[He offers, barely a waver in his voice as he picks up his pace again.]
