Action/Video
[There was a lot of down time in the life of a dragon, especially one as old as Alexstrasza. However, she did not anticipate waking up in a pod 5 sizes too small for even her humanoid form after taking a nap in her lair. Once she managed to contort herself out of the pod, and got her horns unstuck, she sighed and stretched before taking note of the objects stuffed into the pod with her. She flipped through the pamphlet quickly before turning her attention to the phone.]
[It was about noon when the dragon queen emerged from the bay and began wandering aimlessly, seemingly oblivious to the fact that she towered over the civilians milling about. ...Or that she was holding up traffic as she walked on the side of the road. Her interest was very much fixed on the phone. She tapped at the surface and examined it with curiosity as she walked, unaware that she had started recording herself.]
[Video]
What a curious little contraption. I've seen nothing quite like its kind in all my years... It's certainly not goblin made, and it hasn't threatened exploding so I doubt it's gnomish. Perhaps it's a relic of the Kirin Tor?
[There's a pause as she smiles lovingly at the device.] I will have to bring this back with me when I return to Azeroth. I'm sure Krassus would love to examine this. It will be a nice change of pace from his worries in Northrend.

And sees her very clearly not too far down the street.
And now he's staring.
If she's that tall from all the way back here...
Okay he's intimidated, but that makes him all the more interested at the same time. He speed up his walk a bit to catch him, Mareep bouncing behind him, and he piped up.]
Haven't heard of any incidents of the devices exploding, but it's probably worth sayin' that this little thing's got nothin' to do with the place you came from.
[He pauses a bit. Sorry, he keeps staring, but then even he gives a sheepish grin and shows his phone's screen to her.]
Ah, hi, sorry. You were broadcastin' to everyone's devices.
action;
Am I? [She grins, glancing back at the device.] Fascinating. There's definitely nothing like this on Azeroth, you're right.
Thank you for telling me. Who might you be?
action;
Sure thing. Name's Gale Reinhardt, and this is my buddy Mareep. [He points down at the little uniformed sheep, who lets out a 'Maaa!'] Nice to meet ya. You just come from the Bay, I'm guessin'?
[A "how's the weather up there" joke crossed his mind, but he should probably keep that to himself until he knows he won't get launched across the city via backhand from this woman.]
action;
It is a pleasure to meet you, Gale Reinhardt, and you as well Mareep. I am Alexstrasza, Queen of the Red Dragon Flight of Azeroth.
I've only been here for a few minutes, yes. Are the quarters always so cramped in that place?
action;
Just call me Gale. But dragon, huh? I only ever met one or two in this place, and they were both very. Uh. Small.
[It's hard to try to watch what he says, but now he doesn't want to run the risk of being eaten. Not that a cyborg would taste particulary good.]
Now that you mention it, I'm not sure. I would assume yeah, 'cuz most of the time it's usually bringin' people of the usual human height.
I feel like I oughta warn ya that most buildings have doorways designed mostly for humans in mind. So they're a bit... small, for someone your height.
action;
[Video]
Ah...I don't think it's a relic of...Kirin Tor. It's probably just a relic of Genessia...if it can be called a relic...
[She's certainly never thought of it as one...]
[Video]
Well, whatever it is, Krassus will want to study it.
Re: [Video]
Well...I don't know who Krassus is...or even if we can take these devices home with us. We don't even know how to get home of our own will.
[She taps her talons together nervously.]
So...are you another new arrival? I haven't seen you before...
[Video]
I am. I have only been here a few minutes that I'm aware of.

[ Have a friendly smile, just a touch sheepish as he added: ]
But I don't think we'll be able to take anything back with us, from what I understand.
[ Video ]
[She chuckles.]
Maybe. But never underestimate the determination of a dragon.
[ Video ]
[ That's his story and he's being consistent with it.
Looks curious: ]
Another dragon? You look a bit different than the one I've met before.
But I'm being rude, forgive me. My name is Takumi Terasu. It's a pleasure to meet you.
[ Video ]
That's quite alright. It is an honor to meet you, Takumi Terasu. I am Alexsztrasza, Queen of the Red Dragon Flight of Azeroth.

Well. Most of them were. Short robot girl, meet a giant dragon lady.
She observed her for a short while, before approaching, craning her neck upward to attempt eye contact. ]
... Pardon me.
Are you aware you are recording yourself?
[ So many accidental videos. Early recognition might help prevention, perhaps. ]
[ Action ]
I wasn't until just a while ago. A man was named Gale was kind enough to tell me.
[She cocks her head a bit. Being the Aspect of Life, she was keenly attuned to the aura of all life, and when someone addressed her without an aura, she was very curious.]
I don't mean to be rude, but, what exactly are you?
[ Action ]
There is a small square in the bottom center of the screen, colored red, with a white square. Tap once on that.
[ It doesn't look like she's bothered by the question. Or, really, that she's reacting much at all. Beyond what the dragon can sense, Dorothy also doesn't blink, or breathe.
Despite these obvious tells, she's the first to figure out Dorothy wasn't human so quickly. ]
I am an android.
[ And then waits. She doesn't want to assume this woman doesn't know what she is - but she thinks it's a safe guess, and is prepared for the question. ]
[ Action ]
[She taps the icon and slips the device down the front of her chestpiece. Once that's done, she squats down do put herself closer to eye-level with Dorothy, partially to try to put her at ease, partially to get a closer look at the girl.]
An android? I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with the word...

She at least didn't seem at all hostile... Though she was now gently tapping the dragon's shoulder.
"Hello? Miss? Can you see me? Can you hear me? Helloooo."

"I can indeed, little one. Can I help you?"
no subject
"You have really pretty horns. And really interesting eyebrows. Your face really suits you, Miss. I like it."
no subject
"And you, my dear, have eyes as brilliant as any emerald I've seen."

It might have been easier to just introduce herself... but she wasn't exactly the most sociable creature. Vampires didn't meet-and-greet, they stalked.]

Perhaps the smarter thing to do would have been to turn the corner and play the confused rube, or walk on by as though her presence had been only coincidence. Answer discretion with discretion. But there were reasons not to as well; it seemed... unhelpful to inflict a lingering paranoia on a newcomer... and nowadays it chafed her pride to just pretend to be half-blind.
So she turned into the alley, leaned against a wall, and pulled out her phone to compose a message.]
I can come up there if you want but I think this alley you picked out is cozy enough for a chat.
