[ Here's a new face for all of you. Just this young man, sitting cross-legged on a wall with his hands tugged into the large sleeves of his dark cloak that is generously pooling around him. His phone? Is either propped up somewhere or plain floating in mid-air, but details.

At least he looks cheerful enough. ]

[ He nods once. ]

My name's Anakin Skywalker. I'm a Jedi Knight and General in the Grand Army of the Republic. And while I guess that this doesn't mean anything here, the latter may be explanation enough for why I'm not too happy with being here.

You see, there's a war going on back in my galaxy and I'd rather be with my men than sitting around on some forced vacation.

I'm not getting much of a say in this as it seems, however.

[ Anakin's expression relaxes and he looks down to where his hands come free from where they have been tugged away. The money he has been given rests within his fingers and he gives it a contemplative look. ]

I was told I'd need a job and a place to stay, but being a Jedi I'm not allowed possession. Including money. I don't mind working. I'm good with droids, building and fixing things. But I wonder if it's possible to just work in exchange for a place to stay rather than material pay.

He isn't aware. It wasn't very common for a Kaleesh to become a Jedi so he had seen none visit in his time.]

Yes. We are perhaps remote to some.

[Less technologically driven than some cultures, the Kaleesh also didn't often venture away from their homeworld.]

[He gives the directions for that and will indeed be waiting in that vicinity. He's not as tall as the cyborg but he is still about six and a half feet in height as a Kaleesh. He's dressed in loose, robe-like clothing in earthy colours and forever wearing that bone mask, through which tusks can be seen protruding from the sides of the mask's sharp teeth. Down his back there is a long, black braid of hair. What skin can be seen of his hands, arms and bare feet is of a rusty red colour and his fingers are claw-like. Despite the fearsome appearance, he stands with the dignified air of a warrior who has overseen a great battle but now watches over the area in peace. A large heavy-bladed sword is slung across his back in a holster as if its ready for a possible fight, but for now it remains where it is and he doesn't intend to use it unless something or someone attacks.]

[ Anakin finds the way with relative little difficulties. It's also a good way to get to know the place a little better.

When the Jedi spots the tall figure waiting for him, he approaches openly, his hands again tucked into the sleeves of his large cloak. He has to admit that there's something strangely familiar about Sheelal, but it's nothing he can quite place. ]

[ He says once he reaches the other, bowing his head in a display of respect. ]

Thanks for meeting with me.

[There's still no trace of recognition from the alien and perhaps Anakin hasn't encountered Grievous close enough before to recognise those same eyes. Either way, right now he's being very civil. He inclines his head politely forward in greeting.]

It is part of my duty to assist new arrivals.

[Although he doesn't necessarily have to for everyone and especially not those who don't lean toward living in Nova. But he quite often greets those who arrive, when he can. Often warning them to not cause trouble, particularly those that come in brandishing weapons. He generally keeps the peace here but he isn't against a stirring fight.]

You had questions?

[ Up until now Anakin has mostly seen holograms of the cyborg general, so aside from the mask, that seems more like a cultural thing, there's hardly anything he could notice. ]

Questions, yes. And I think I'd like to get to know you a little.You're maintaining the peace here after all and as a Jedi that's my interest as well. Especially if I can't go back just yet.

Aside from you, there appear a few others from our universe here at least, one of them being a known bounty hunter in my time. He has attempted to murder myself and other Jedi on more then one occasion and even succeeded at least once. So of course now I'd like to know where I'd have to take him should he attempt something like that here and what would be the consequences if I had to capture him.

[ He knows of enough planets that have pretty harsh justice systems. ]

Each district and city has its own rules for lawbreakers and overall the Guardians would deal with each criminal on a case by case basis. Here in Nova City we have the highest of technology and unbreakable prison cells within this very building.

If a crime is committed in other cities, such as Attleton, they would deal with this in their own way.

Also, bounty hunters are common but all need a licence here in Nova City for any of their activities to be considered lawful.

Even a license shouldn't be making assassination attempts lawful, however.

[ Anakin inclines his head. ]

At least that's what I hope.

If a crime has been committed here you should report it. They will be brought to justice.

[ He smirks a little. ]

I won't be standing by and just watch someone commit a crime, Sheelal. I'm well capable of taking a criminal down without causing serious harm to them.

Good. Then you no doubt will make a fine deputy.

What weapons do you use?

I have my lightsaber, but... I was hoping I wouldn't be staying here that long.

Some leave quickly. Some remain for years.

It is wise to plan ahead for either scenario.
