*Sonico appears to be in some kind of bar or nightclub. Anyone who recognises the place will know that she's grsbbed herself a seat all alone at the Hangar Queen. She isn't dressed for a fun night out, nor does she look especially happy*

The thing is...

*As she starts to speak, she actually just seems downright miserable*

That's not the kind of woman I am. To anyone I met, or anyone I saw... I promise you. I'm a better person. I really am.

*She drops her gaze as she keeps trying to convince herself, and takes a drink from her bottle of beer*

And Mobius - he - He's a good man. He's a wonderful man. We all said and did things - I - Please. He is a good, good man. Forgive him for the actions that he did not fully realise he was committing...

*Then she stares away at some unknown spot and is too slow at wiping her eyes, a few tears escaping and splashing down her cheeks*

I'm sorry... I'm so sorry.

[Action]

For anyone wanting to find her, or anyone already in the Hangar Queen, Sonico is that girl sitting on her own, half way through one of those buckets of beers that are supposed to be shared with several friends.

I wish so, too. I hate having that in my head. Having him in my head.

[ Normally he would now have advice, or at least preach about duty and the need to keep going. Tonight he just shakes his head sadly. ]

I don't know how we can move on from this, Sonico.

*That's what she was waiting for - for some sort of signal that things were able to go back to normal*

Me neither...

*Then her voice breaks and she has to cover her face with a hand*

[ Cassian makes a soft, pained noise. ]

I'm sorry.

[ It hurts to see Sonico so hopeless, makes him wish he were there so he could hold her, though he has no comforting words. ]

You're not alone.

*Sonico just shakes her head, two hands covering her face as she does her best to hide her crying. Not that it's working. She appreciates his words of comfort, but this is all just far too much for her*

[ He watches in silence for a little while, just keeping her company in her tears since he can't be there to offer physical comfort. Then there's a soothing murmur of her name, another silence which leaves him feeling a little more helpless. ]

It's okay. You can let yourself cry. Nobody will judge you for your tears.

*Sonico shakes her head - she just doesn't believe that, but his words and his voice were so comforting. Still, as she shakes her head, her hands are swiping at her eyes and cheeks to rid of the tears*

[ His voice is even quieter now. Damn it, what can he do from afar? Nothing. ]

You're a good person, Sonico, one of the best and kindest people I've ever met. Don't let anything make you doubt that.

*Finally she seems to manage to stop the flow of tears, fingers still flicking away the tears that form at the corners of her eyes. She swallows hard and nods, attempting a smile*

[ He's a little heartened by seeing her tears halt. ]

There will be better days again. I know it doesn't feel like it today, but there will. We just have to be brave for now, alright? I know you're strong.
