[It had nearly been a month since he got here, and Goku was starting to get a little nervous. Even with trying to cut back on the size of his meals (after spending about half of his starting income on the first day), he didn't have a lot of money left. When it came to their house, Chi-Chi was always the responsible one, handling food, money, housing, and whatever other concerns that they might have. Goku was much more carefree about anything that didn't involve fighting, but he couldn't rely on Chi-Chi to look after all of that here.

Still, trying to think of what his wife might do in this situation did remind him of something that she had told him after the victory party for the tournament between Universe 6 and 7. He figure he'd turn to the community, since that would be easier than trying to find something he was looking for in the newspaper.]

Does anybody need to hire a person to deliver stuff? I heard that the strongest guy in my universe does that for training, an' I really wanna catch up to him! [At least, that's what Chi-Chi told him when he asked why a space-truck was parked in the middle of Bulma's party.]

...Oh, or anything that involves fighting would be good too! Someone told me 'bout this bounty huntin' job, which might work, but that's only if the people I'm trying to catch are really strong.

[Realizing that he should try to act a bit more formal (as that's what Chi-Chi or King Kai would tell him if they were there), he gives a small bow towards the camera.]

Bounty hunting.

If it's the same as our world, it's hardly a challenge. The money is easy at least.

I guess Krillin does something like that... [He doesn't really know much about Krillin's police job, and he's not the type to ask about it, but he knows it involves catching bad guys.]

I dunno if it'd be fun, though! I don't wanna feel like I'm pickin' on weaker fighters.

Bounties are placed on people when the police can't handle it. Feel free to try it out, I'm just sayin' don't expect a challenge.

We do have a delivery job here at the bakery. I'm sure there are lots of other places too, but please keep it in mind! That would definitely make our staff more complete!

Ooh, that could work! [He'd have to be careful not to eat the food that he's supposed to deliver, but he did fine with that when he did something similar for Master Roshi's training.]

I've heard a lot 'bout bounty hunting too, but I'm sure I can try both of 'em! Do you have a lotta stuff that needs delivering?

Yes! We're actually getting pretty popular, and there are a lot of orders for Christmas cakes.

[They just hired Cloud as a deliveryman, but she sees no reason why they can't hire two. Cloud can't be in two places at once! Besides, it sounds like Goku is more interested in part-time work if he wants to go for both options.]

People bounty hunt, but I don't think most do it just because they like fighting. I don't know what kind of strength level you are looking for, but certain cities have more dangerous people than others.

I guess I can try it an' find out! Which city has the strongest people in it? [...Because people tend to rank their cities based on that, clearly.]

Genessia City and Attleton as well as all other cities have normal people in them, but Genessia City and Attleton's native population is made up of normal people. Everglade has Vampires and Werewolves and Zombies. Nova City has aliens and augmented human beings. Fayren has magic uses.

I dunno much about magic, but aliens sounds like a good start! What does "augmented" mean?

Yep! I've still got a long way to go, though. There's a couple of people in my universe who are stronger than I am, an' there's plenty more in other universes! I could barely even land a hit on one guy that I fought not too long ago!

Huh... That sounds totally confusing but I think I get you. You're like super strong where your from but not so tough compared to other places?

I can kind of relate to that. Or well I know someone who can.
