Frisk? Chara? (It's Chara) ([personal profile] corruptedsave) wrote in [community profile] genessia2017-12-12 04:13 pm

I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies [video]

[It's a tiny white dog, which is laying with it's legs up and very much asleep except... Someone off screen is doing a dorky voice as if it was the dog talking.]

Golly Chara, why would you want to run to be Guardian of Attleton?

[The device is spun around to show Chara, attempting to smile nicely and such. Even though they look scruffy and a bit dirty, they live in a tent what do you expect??]

Good question, Toby. [YES THEY NAMED THE DOG THAT.]

When you consider how stupid a lot of the adults who post around on the network, and would most likely also run for this position, are as dumb as a sack of bricks. It's my duty as a young person in this place to step up and do my part.

[Yes, they just called everyone an idiot. Camera back to the dog, who has rolled over and let's out a doggy "chuff", before Chara does the voice again.]

Oh but what about Mister Andor? He did a good job, right? [Back to Chara now.]

I dunno about that, he did allow someone to kill a bunch of cops and his boyfriend during his run. I'd have to say that's doing a poor job, don't you think folks?

[And gonna click off the video on that note.

Yes, they did just go there.]

That is the difference.

I do not think the terrible choices these people made last week were ones they would make now. I do not believe they are capable.

If consequence is not linked to what a person would do - how a person would act - what a person is rather than what they may have been -

Then it may as well be useless.

Perhaps.

But you can't see their Memories, what choices they can make, either.

[ Her eyes are steady, of course, unblinking as always. ]

You might want consequences for something which doesn't exist any longer.

I don't believe that.

[ She seems to be looking at the child in the video a lot more closely, however. ]

Trust is earned. But faith, that not every human is as you claim?

Most of us need that to stay sane.

Stupidity isn't the same as being violent, or destructive.

[ She noticed. It may have been a blink. A subtle facial expression.

But it might not have. Her eyes narrow slightly - Dorothy is expert in subtle facial expressions, as it were. ]

I don't think it is wise, or sane, to associate foolishness with murder.

[ Sure, murderers were sometimes foolish - but they were also often very intelligent.

It was not a clear correlation in either direction. ]

[ Which could, after all, simply be a quirk from whatever reality they're from. ]

True.

My point still stands.

... Yes.

[ Another pause. ]

With that sort of outlook on humans.

I hope you do not win.
