[ Within the book, it just contains ridiculous blog-style stories about how Cassian used to use pink milk to bake cookies on the veranda of his frozen planet home with his mother, then wake up because it was just a dream. His mother is dead, his life is shit. He must rebel. So he makes angry pink cookies.

Each recipe has a story of similar caliber, and most of the recipes are absolute shit. They are all next to weird pictures, some of him just barbecuing and smiling warmly at K2SO or some just making awful candid faces. The back cover photo is probably photoshopped but the rest seem weirdly.. real... (Thanks Neo.)

There are 20 different recipes including: a canned tuna christmas tree, how to make grilled cheese with a clothing iron, some kind of gelatinous salad monster, hot Dr. Pepper, and many other atrocities against food. ]

[The fact that she listed him as a perk to why she should be chosen as a guardian is one of the things that makes Yang hesitated to accept her at face value. Crushing his poor little heart intentionally could backfire on a political level. But, well...a lot can change in a month's time, maybe Emerald really likes him now. If anyone knows that, it's Yang.]

Oh, I forgot to tell you. Forget about what I said. I'm not going to keep dating him, but he really loves Christmas so I'm going to wait until after and just tell him that I was planning. If he still wants to try that'll be his stupid decision.

[ It's the nicest she knows how to be, okay... She's not sure she likes him, and a lot of time he drives her insane- but that's.. everyone. But it isn't as though he actually loves her for who she is, so if anything it's just pissing her off that he likes her so much because it isn't her. ]
