WHO: OPEN
WHEN: 6/7
WHERE: Salduba Ruins, Attleton
WHAT: Dungeon crawl for a miracle cure herb requested by a sickly young girl. Hunt for it and keep it or hunt for it and turn it in for monies! (or anyone who just wants to explore a ruin)
Once the directions to the Salduba Ruins in Attleton were acquired, it took almost half the day to actually reach said ruins. Located well outside of any kind of civilization, the ruins appeared to have been once been an old foreste keep - thick vines and moss cover the high walls, though the ground is uneven, cracked in places- parts of the keep itself collapsed from attacks and one can presume, as series of earthquakes. Though nature is clearly attempting to reclaim the area over what has been built and left in this place, there are two obvious entrances to the Keep - one on the South wall and one on the North; A high arched doorway that leads into what's left of the building proper.
Once inside the keep the air will feel, smell and taste dusty and stale through minimal circulation - there's no lighting to guide your way, and the restless sound of footsteps - man or animal (or perhaps manimal). The hall branches off towards the eastern and western side of the Keep, both paths leading towards the upper and lower floors and the heart of the keep in question. But the Keep though abandoned by its original owners, is not entirely empty - one may encounter bandits, or even hostile creatures; not only that, but the halls and rooms are not the safest any longer. Each room may be booby trapped, either by the new residents or the old, and those traps may trigger at the slightest provocation. However, if you're lucky enough to survive, you might find treasures to reward your curiosity.
[ OOC: Tag into any of the four locations to explore~! Feel free to threadjack or team up with others joining in. But be caaaaaaaaareful~ ]

The ceiling --! [ C R A P ] Natsu, quick - there has to be a switch or something to stop it from coming down..! [ Sun's already on the ball checking around, so Lucy scrambles over to the opposite side of the room, feeling along the wall and checking anywhere suspicious that she can see. Not even Taurus would be able to hold up the ceiling if it came to it -- not for long and especially not if it kept moving downward. ]

[Meanwhile he goes down to the floor and presses his ear to the floor. He closes his eyes and focuses on the sound of the mechanism under foot. It has to be there. A point he can smash to jam up the gears.]

You guys find anything? [Sun called out.]

...Unless they notice a red, glowing spot in the middle of the ceiling. Someone should hit it! If they can figure that out.]

[ Already on the same wavelength as Natsu - as far as helping find the secret latch. Hearing the sound of something else, she glanced up again, cringing. ]
Spikes now..!!?
...Wait a second.. [ Squinty. ] There's.. something on the ceiling! Other than the spikes I mean! What is that--?
[ When in doubt, smash it, right? ]

An eager grin spreads on his face and he gathers his magic into his fist manifesting it as a bundle of raging blames]
Nice catch, Lucy!
[He yells and leaps towards the ceiling, slamming his flaming fist into that glowing point with devastating force.]

Come to think of it, this is the first time he's seen the people from Fairy Tail work. Fire powers? That was pretty awesome.]
Be careful of the spikes!

Good job!]

[ Spikes? That.. probably won't be a problem to Natsu. The spikes should instead watch out for HIM. ... wait that's silly. Still, Natsu was only demonstrating a small fraction of his ability, that much she knew. ]
I think he's got it..! [ She grinned over at Sun, relaxing when the mechanism came to a stop, leaving the group no longer in danger of being squashed like grapes. ]
Way to go, Natsu~! [ Breathing a sigh of relief, she turned towards the nearest open door. ] Let's get out of here before that thing gets triggered again.
[ Maybe the worst is over~... yea probably not. She was making her way to the next chamber in any case. ]

Piece of cake. Everyone alright?
[He says as he rips his fist out of the hole he punched into the mechanism.]
