Yeah he lost the guardian election-]

Congratulations to Guardian Cassian Andor! I hope you have a wonderful and fulfilling second term as Guardian of Attleton. I know we are in the safest of hands, and I cannot wait to see what the next six months has in store for us.

And it seems I've been elected mayor! Everyone did keep telling me that the position seemed to suit my answers better, and well, if the majority wants me as the mayor, then I'd hate to turn them down.

What a wonderful election this was, wouldn't you all agree? Isn't politics fun?

Oh! I almost forgot.

I'm still throwing a pizza party.

Because you can't say you're going to throw a pizza party, and then just not throw it.

Consider it a thank you for going out and putting in your vote, and contributing to our fair city, and the continued existence of some semblance of order and stability!

[ The quick congratulations aren't surprising, Cecil has been nothing but courteous so far, but the announcement that he has won the mayoral election is a surprise for sure.

It's a hopeful sign for Attleton maybe, while he had not at all been convinced of his skills as a Guardian he does seem to be well-qualified for mayor. ]

Congratulations, Mayor Palmer. I look forward to working with you, and to seeing you realize your economic agenda for Attleton.

My sincere and deepest congratulations, Mayor Palmer. We have a very interesting election this time, don't you think? One of the contestant even breathes fire that heals, that was a new one.

What a fascinating spectacle it all was. It could have been anyone's race in Nova and Fayren, I was at the edge of my seat.

Are you excited about another term?

Indeed. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot about all the contestants.

I'm glad we are given more time to work on the projects we started in Attleton and that people trusted Cassian. Specially after what happened a few weeks ago.

I don't think we can fully fault Cassian for that. After all, a great deal of people were affected.

Why, a pair of them even robbed a store, can you believe it?

It was no one's fault, that's what I keep telling Cassian and Jaune but they don't believe me.

If you are talking about Shinjiro and Akihiko, yes, I saw it.

It's a shame, I know at least one of them must be having a hard time with it. I hope he's okay.

I'm more familiar with Mr. Aragaki and yes, he's often having a difficult time processing his emotions. It that regard, he acts a lot like Cassian.

[This has brought a burning question to mind, but politeness first.]

What an excellent question!

First of all, thank you, you're too kind.

Second of all, a pizza is a baked item that traditionally comes with pulverized tomatoes that have been turned into a paste, carefully spread across a crispy, flat yet fluffy bread, and topped with shredded cheese and a variety of different meat or vegetables.

Think of it as a vegetable and meat pastry. Like a cake!

But with meat.

And a pineapple is, of course, an apple that grows on pines.

But...Pines...

[Cecil gets so, so close to being a normal person so often. So close.

Oh they're delicious!

Pineapples. That is.

I suppose a pine could be delicious as well, depending on how you prepare it.

Shit I'm always down for a pizza party. ...Just keep the pineapple away from me.

Of course, of course, I always respect the right to choose your own toppings, I'd never argue.

[Steve can't help but smile. As a boy from Brooklyn, Pizza is a very serious thing. Of course, Steve also likes pineapple and he's mostly just poking fun.

He hadn't voted because he'd arrived at the time of the elections and didn't feel that his vote would have been a well informed one. After seeing the proceedings, he's interested in the way that government is set up in these cities.]

I don't think I've had spicy Thai peanut sauce on pizza.

I'm a little boring and prefer cheese or sausage.

My favorite?

Hm.... Well that would be a toss up between garlic, anchovies or butterscotch.

Those are all very different topics.

I can't say I've had butterscotch on pizza.

So... does this mean no more radio show?

[The radio show was kinda interesting to listen to, after all.]

Well...

Perhaps I can just make my addresses to the city my new radio show for now. After all, the people do need to stay informed!
