[ After successfully Not-Tomb Raiding and getting payment for the most recent job (and Lucy hoped that the herb was actually going to work for that poor girl) it was time to do some well earned shopping. Not alone though, Neveren, the youngest member of Fairy Tail (kinda) was accompanying her. Her first stop is picking up some cooler clothing for herself and the kids since Regina was busy on a job herself. Next she stopped at a toy store, where she picked up something for him and herself. Her last stop was at the ice cream shoppe before heading back to Feyren to the guild. ]

[Satsuki isn't in the best of moods. She's having a bit of difficulty with the school situation, Ryuko is being a huge pain, and Kazuya doesn't seem to have learned his lesson. It's just once annoyance after another but she had found her experience in a clothing store with Nonon to be surprisingly relaxing.

So she decided to come again on her own time to try and uncover Nonon's fashion secret. Just how does she manage to look so good in pink? Why does she have so much fun sorting through clothing for that matter?

Currently she is standing at a three direction mirror. After about four minutes of intense conteplating (conteplation so intense that the shop assistants decided it might be best to stay away until that aura calms down) she raises a frilled, pink dress up to her chest. At that very moment she then notices Lucy in the reflection and not only do her eyes widen, her cheeks pinken as well.

She immedietly drops the clothing, turns her back toward the mirrors, and pretends to be interested in something else.]

[ Nope, nope, you're totally busted, Satsuki. Lucy had been waiting for Neveren to come out of the changing room so she could see how a shirt fit on him, and happened to catch sight of the other girl. With a frilly dress no less. ]

Satsuki? Wow, I didn't know you were into something so girly~ [ She padded over, picking up the dress and dusting it off. ]

You should be more careful with it - here.

A reasonable presumption, but highly incorrect I assure you. This is more my associates style.

[Satsuki does have a bit of a blush, despite her attempts to keep her cool this is an extremely embarrassing position to be caught in. Perhaps she would have thought this out better if her mind wasn't all over the place!

But yes see? She's cool. As a cucumber. As she grips the dress by the hanger, her grip is so tight that it snaps in half and falls to the floor again, then her expression falls grim.

Someone please put her out of her misery.]

A-ahah, it... it's okay I'm sure it was just a really flimsy hanger.

[ She awkwardly picked up the dress, studying the girl. No, frills were definitely not her style. She seemed better suited to elegant things. ]

Is anything wrong..? You seem tense. [ Understatement of the year. ]

[Satsuki actually didn't expect Lucy to pick it up a second time, so she can at least say that much.. But she doesn't seem intent on taking it back.

That said, there's a slow shake of her head.]

Nothing in particular, I have just been rather busy the past number of weeks. It would appear activity is picking up again in Genessia City as well.

[A glance is then given to the boy.]

And this is?

[ Well she wasn't going to leav a perfectly nice dress on the floor for people to walk all over it. ]

Yeah, it certainly seems like that. A lot of people have been showing up lately.

[ As Satsuki glanced towards the boy, Lucy grinned, nudging him forward. ]

Neveren Thyme. He and his sister Justyne are members of our guild, along with their nanny. Nev, this is Satsuki - say hi.

[ Neveren, never letting go of Lucy's hand, beamed in a friendly manner. ] H'lo miss.

.. Yes. At this rate I may need to organize a larger group of helpers.

[ Satsuki stares at Lucy for a moment. She doesn't recall asking about his punctuality, but sure why not.]

Greetings, Nev. It would serve yourself, as well as others, well to improve upon your lack of punctuality. 'Better late than never' can only take you so far.

I suggest you start today.

[She then looks back to the blonde woman.]

I was not aware that you allowed members so young. I suppose it is open to anyone whom can perform magic, then?

[ Both Lucy and Nev look confused at Satsuki's comment about punctuality. O..kay then? Lucy patted Nev on the head. ]

Not exactly. Nev and Justyne don't know magic - but you might say we sort of adopted them into the guild, Natsu and I.

[One of those situations.]

So Natsu, is it? He seemed... .....

So things did not work out between you and Gray?

[Sure, it's not really any of her business, but Lucy doesn't seem to be a particularly private person. ]

[ Which is of course when Nev pipes up, pouty faced and all. ]

"You like Gray? Justyne and Nana said that you you liked Natsu, Lucy.."

[ Which of course leaves Lucy stuck trying to reassure Neveren without upsetting him more because it's not like there's anything between her and Natsu! Nuh-uh. nope! ]

[Well, Lucy tends to end up in embarrassing situations in public often enough. Clearly it's being done on purpose!

Um, oops. Ok, Satsuki will take the blame for that one, it wasn't the smartest idea to bring that up in front of a kid.

But really, who in their right mind would leave a kid with Satsuki? ... Unless it was for military school or something. That said, she tries to help with blatant a lie.]

You misunderstand, I was merely referring to [Um] a bet they had made. Someone as laid back and shameless has no chance of capturing Lucy's heart let alone successfully interfere in the blooming romance between her and Natsu!

No, love that strong is impervious to any sort of interference, even to bullets! Do you understand, child?

[ Goodness knows Lucy would never leave Nev with her! Who knows how Satsuki would influence him. Terrifying. In any case, Lucy (who most certainly was not ending up in embarrassing situations in public on purpose!) facepalmed at that attempt to clear up the misunderstanding. Nev was young though, and gullible to boot. So he nodded slowly. ]

"I guess.."

[ Except not really. He glanced between Lucy and Satsuki. ]

"What was the bet?"

[ Yes Satsuki, what WAS the bet. Lucy is no help in that regard, 'oh my god'ing under her breath. ]

[ ... He would ask that, wouldn't he? Unfortunately Satsuki isn't entirely certain what kind of things the members of Fairy Tail would make bets on.

All she can think of is the pool party. What do they do at pool parties, um.. Um..]

Who could wear the smallest swimsuit.

[I'm so sorry.]

[ . . . sadly that is probably one of the things they would bet on. ]

Ahahah I-I think that's enough of that..!

[ Lucy had recovered enough to try and intervene in the bizarre conversation, shooting Satsuki a befuddled, 'Really??' look. ]

"But I wanted to know who won? Was it Mr. Gray? Because he was walking around without clothes that one time.. -"

N-Nevermind, Neveren~!

[Hey, it makes complete sense to her. Mind, she'd never allow something like that in her quarters but, different strokes for different folks. She's starting to be done with this child, though, so bless Lucy for reeling that one in.]

Never mind indeed, there is something else I wished to ask about.

It would appear there is discussion of the guild house being reformed into a school. I was curious what your thoughts on that are, Lucy.

[Because.. Well, let's face it, Satsuki thinks it is a disaster waiting to happen. But she's a little more lenient to Lucy's opinion since she's normal.. Ish.]
