[An orange haired girl appears on the feed, waving cheerfully.] Salutations, Genessia! My name is Penny, and it's a pleasure to meet all of you. [A pause.] I've come to understand that many of us were brought here from our own worlds, and I've decided that I'd like to help out as much as I can while I'm here!

I'm sure it must be strange winding up in an unfamiliar place... it's also rather exciting, though! [Of course, she was a little nervous. Not as nervous as she could be, considering she saw a familiar face in a hologram not long after her arrival... but the concept of being in a new world, a new universe, excited her more than it scared or unnerved her. Even if it placed her far, far away from her father. She'll just have to hope he doesn't notice she's gone. She does hate worrying him.]

I couldn't help but notice that someone from home is here... I don't know if you'll see this, but if you do, hello Weiss! [Waves again.] If anyone else from home is here, please let me know! I'd be oh-so-happy to see you!

I think, in the meantime, I would like to explore around this city and see what there is to find. It's so big! [And with one final wave as a farewell, she cuts the feed.]

To some, Penny may stand out more than the average new arrival, with her brightly colored hair and outfit -- but to some she may blend in more. It's not hard to spot her stopping and staring at every new thing she finds with slightly widened eyes, or pestering passersby with questions about the world that she hadn't found the answer to yet. Trying to make new friends and learn as much as she possibly can about this new world she's been 'kidnapped' to.

To say Baymax was usually on top of things was like saying the grass was green.

On his routine visits to the bay in order to ensure those who came through were warm and informed, he toddled up towards Penny with a hand upright in greeting. "Hello, I am Baymax. Your personal health came companion. Please take this blanket as a form of welcome."

And he offered a hospital blanket to Penny, even though his sensors told him she was artificial.

Hello, Baymax! [She offers a wave of her own, accepting the blanket cheerily.] Health care companion... you definitely look nice and harmless! [A beat.] I've never seen a... you're a robot, right? I've never seen one like you before!

[He tilted his head.] You do not appear to be human either, are you a robot as well?

An adventure is often more enjoyable with others.

[The video feature isn't enabled on his end. So all Penny sees is a blank screen but Augustine's voice comes out loud and clear. Perhaps this is done on purpose or maybe, he doesn't realize it. Nevertheless, his Romanian accent alone is quite memorable.

You know of Weiss? The hologram girl?

[Huh, the other isn't showing their video -- but that's okay! Penny will keep her video on anyway.]

It can be! I wouldn't mind if I had others with me, though I like exploring on my own, too!

Oh, yes! She's from the same place I'm from. I haven't talked to her much, but I've seen her a few times!

Traveling alone has it perks but having company is always best.

[Sorry, Penny. Augustine figures his bizarre appearance would be too distracting. Humans don't typically have bright red eyes with black scleras.]

She's more of an acquaintance then? I see. Is this world similar to your own?

"Jobs... jobs... new home... oh, why did I wait so long?!"

Ellen, meanwhile, was busy fretting. She accidentally waited just a bit too long and it was getting close for her to find a place to stay and a job to get. She's never had a job before - she's barely getting used to actually living as a human!

Of course, lost in her thoughts, she ends up running into Penny by accident, stumbling backwards.

"Woah! Sorry, sorry, didn't mean to! My fault!"

Penny, too, was lost in her thoughts, and looking elsewhere rather than right in front of her. The impact caused her to fall right over, and she lay still on the ground, realizing that this felt all too familiar.

Unfortunately, when she heard the voice and got herself back up, she realized it was not the same person she might have expected. But she still smiled, dusting herself off.

"It is perfectly fine! I wasn't looking where I was going, either." She pauses for a few seconds, before adding: "I'm Penny, by the way! I'm kind of new here. What's your name?"

Oh. Oh, good, nothing broken and the person is perfectly fine! Recovering, Ellen cleared her throat and calmed down.

"Ellen. My name's Ellen, I'm kinda-sorta new here, too." she said, grinning sheepishly.

[ Just curious. Not that Penny ever could've known what really happened to her, but. You know. Good to know. ]

I was at the Vytal Festival too. We didn't really talk.

The last thing... [She puts a finger to her chin in thought.] Oh! I remember going up to fight in the singles round! I don't remember who I was fighting, though.

[If only she'd been able to stay a few seconds longer...]

Oh, but I did see you and your friend fight! [And the thing with Yang soon after, but... she won't bring that up.] You two were great!

[ Oh gosh. They were never particularly close, but the last time she really saw her... It's good to see her alive again, but the expression in her eyes is honestly one that looks like she's seen a ghost. She didn't actually see Pyrrha die, but Penny.. it's a little more jarring, somehow. ]

Oh, Weiss! [She looks quite happy to see her.] I saw your hologram thing when I came in, it was very informative. I--

[She pauses, noting that something feels... a little off about Weiss' expression.]

Weiss? Are you okay?

[ Adela can't help smiling at the girl's attitude. Granted, she's in a good mood to begin with, but there's just something about the perky nature of the other that has her feeling that much brighter. ]

May I ask about the sort of world you are from? I know it can be difficult to adapt, but I would like to believe that there are many here who would help you get settled where needed.

Thank you! It's quite a nice looking city. I want to visit the other areas sometime too. The ones mentioned in one of the things I got when I arrived!

[She means the brochure.]

It's... well, it looks similar to this city, but the technology seems older. A lot of people go to school to become hunters and huntresses and hunt monsters called Grimm who cause a lot of trouble for everyone.

Don't forget that there's more than just Genessia, though... And, uh, be cautious in a couple of the outer cities. Incidents are a thing here.

I've actually wanted to see Nova City, myself... which cities have incidents? [Incidents may actually make her more interested. She deals with trouble.]

[ He should really be getting used by now to running into dead people but this is the kind of thing Qrow suspects you can never get used to. For all that, he's looking quite relaxed lounging in what seems to be a park, his scythe propped against the bench. ]

[Penny blinks. Blinks again. Does she know this man? He seems slightly familiar... doesn't he? Something about him looks familiar. At the festival, maybe? Even if so, she doesn't actually know him. But that's okay! He's confirmed that he's from her world, at least.]

What'a a surprise? ... Oh, I've seen a couple of people! Have I seen you before, though? There were so many people at the Festival, but I can't remember all of them.

Ayla certainly falls into the latter set of people for judging Penny's appearance. The cave woman keeps company with colorful folk, including one swordsman who has hair just as bright as Penny's own. There's also a few smaller details that some others might not notice just by looking at her but stand out a slight more to a feral huntress. Quirks in motion. Scent. Faint sounds. Things that modern humans no longer worry about now that they no longer have to compete with other Apex predators.

She perks up as she sees Penny walking by, lazily observing her from the tree branch that gives her a nice view over this park. "Mmmm, you smell like friend Robo, but look like other friends. What you?"

Penny stops, trying to locate the source of the voice, and though she's momentarily surprised to see someone on a tree branch, she reminds herself that this isn't entirely out of place back home, either. Also that it's rude to stare when someone's talking to you--

"Huh? I smell like Robo? Oh, I'm Penny! It's nice to meet you -- I only just arrived today." Maybe someone recognizing scents is slightly less common back home, but this one definitely does not seem like someone from Penny's world. Was she able to see past her outer appearance by smell alone?

A short distance from the bay is where Koishi would notice Penny. Finishing up her snack, she hopped down out of a tree, catching herself in the air and floating after the little robot.

Penny was green. Or wearing green. Therefore she already had points in Koishi's book.

There was something unusual about her though. Koishi could sense some form of presence in Penny, but not what she was used to. In fact Penny lacked a lot of the things she normally sensed in humans.

Whelp. She probably wasn't human then. No need to hesitate any longer.

"Hello Miss!" Koishi didn't hesitate to grab Penny's sleeve and tug. After all, most people were unable to see Koishi at first. Of course Penny, being a robot, would spot her easily. "Can you see me?"

She couldn't help idly musing to herself, thinking about what kinds of foods this world would have, even though she couldn't eat. What about clothes? She could at least get a few changes of clothes here, since she didn't have any from home with her. She had a lot of planning ahead of her.

All of that could wait, though, because she could feel someone, or something, tugging at her sleeve. She looked over at the source of the tugging, realizing it was someone. "Huh? Oh, yes, I can see you! Salutations!"

She paused for a few seconds, contemplating the question even after she had answered it, before adding: "Are people normally not able to see you?"
