[Waking up in another world is jarring enough. Ilia regrets not walking past that hologram as soon as she sees a face she knows despite not knowing the person herself. Hit with a sickening twist in her stomach, her whole body turns a vivid, deep red, hand gripping her weapon tightly. She doesn't question the fact that this Weiss Schnee looks older. She doesn't register most of what she says.

But it isn't the first time she's had to face that emptiness and anger that eats away at her inside. And it isn't the first time she's done it alone. She doesn't know what to do, but this seems like a trap. She won't let herself fall for it. Hiding her rage, she goes back to her default appearance and walks past the hologram, cautious but all too eager to create some distance, frowning pensively and looking at her surroundings carefully.]

These necklaces are pretty. Kind of an extravagant gift to give your captives. But I guess that...

I guess that means we're all on even ground now. Even if some of us don't want to be. [Passive aggressively throwing that at some people.] Let me get to the point: anyone see a woman with long, wavy black hair and gold eyes and cat ears? Or a loud blonde with a matching tail? We got separated.

[ She knows where her loud blonde is. But she doesn't know who Ilia is really, not beyond just knowing that she's possibly describing Blake and Sun, so she is going to ask a few questions first. ]

Attleton's not bad. Weird serial killer population, but nothing mystical to deal with. Fayren's all magic this, mythical creatures that left and right and doesn't really have indoor plumbing sorted out right. GC is a mix of everything. [ Look at her being helpful. ]

[She wasn't eager to broadcast her face to a world she barely knew anything about. She was familiarizing herself with the basics, but it was a lot of information. When Sun responds though, she doesn't hesitate. Her face is, literally, a bright red, darker spots now a dull yellow that reflects in her hair and eyes.]

[Sorry she hasn't looked at Weiss's text yet and she's 100% certain he's cheating on Blake and someone's gotta clean up the mess before he breaks her heart.]

[She doesn't know if the person she's texting is human, she just assumes. It's strange to be talking to one so civilly, but she's trying, even if she's still on edge with this entire ordeal.]

[ What Ilia might not expect to greet her is rather cheerful whistling, and yet it cuts through the winter breeze like nothing at all. The source is a small girl, bundled in a thick winter parka as she walks through the streets. It (feels like) it's been a while since she's explored the cities in earnest, and why not start the closest she can to home?

Of course, the happy demeanour fades in an instant when she sees the other girl exiting the bay. In what seems like very little clothing. Normally, others clothing choices aren't enough to bother her -- at least, not those of of a complete stranger. But the red head seems distracted, staring for a moment before taking a few steps towards the shore and towards Ilia. ]

Uhm... Are you cold like that?

[ ... Not the best conversation starter, but she knows she's done worse in the past. And considering it's still the middle of winter, that is a valid question in Adela's mind. ]

[Ilia isn't sure what she was expecting. An ambush would have been less shocking than the sudden concerned question. Not that it isn't unwelcome, but she isn't used to it, coming from humans. Except this stranger has no reason to suspect otherwise. She squares her shoulders, already on guard, not about to attack Adela but not trusting this place either.]

It's tolerable.

[Yes, she's freezing, but her body will acclimate enough to where as long as she stays moving until finding some warmer clothes, she'll be fine.]

Action - I know the feeling, it's happened more often to me than I care to admit

[ Rather than being skeptical she seems surprised, eyes raising as her curiosity starts to get the better of her. She approaches, stopping a few feet away as her whole expression just seems to light up. ]

That is incredible! I can barely keep warm enough even with as much as I wear now, though it may be that my home is simply much warmer most times of the year... It is simply amazing to hear about! Is it very cold like this where you are from often? Is there a lot of snow?

[ Adela might realize what she's doing in a second, but for the moment it's still really cool badum-dish to hear about new places like this. That and it's been a while since she's simply indulged her curiosity and desire to know. ]

It's true we have a large supply of them and they are needlessly artistic too, but at least we don't have a terrorist problem like Fayren and Nova City have. Or regular large-scale gang bloodbaths like in Everglade.

As usual, Koishi was by the bay, chasing rabbits and hanging out in the trees. She did sense this new arrival though and was heading over to see who it was. She landed on a nearby branch, watching for several moments and tilting her head before walking down and... simply following her.

Her unconscious nature would keep her cloaked for now, drifting along through the air a few pace lengths back... And after several more moments she would drift forward, poking Ilia in the arm.

"Miss? Hello? Can you see me? Can you hear me now? Hello?" It might take a moment before she's noticed. Even with the poking.
