Welcome to the Festival of Amore!
A wonderful festival dedicated to celebrating love of the romantic nature.

The whole park is decorated in the traditional colors of Valentine's Day, red, white, and various shades of pink. Hearts are the theme and though you won't be turned away, those without a partner to spend the evening with may get a few strange looks or start to feel rather lonely.

Festival Games
There are a number of activities to partake in, including festival games, the most popular of which seems to be the Super Ball Scooping, in which hundreds of balls float around in a pool of water, secretly marked with prizes- mostly goldfish, though there is one hidden that has a special romantic getaway to win! The challenge is that you must use a paper net, so the balls will often break as you try to get them into your bowl. Additionally, the balls are stirred up after each play of three scoops. Other traditional festival games like dart tossing, wack-a-mole, ring toss, and more. However, there is one challenge that you should be aware of for all games. You and your partner must do them together! This means two hands on the ring when you toss it! Hold the paper net steadily together! Good luck!

Food Stalls and the Chocolate Fondue Stream
There are a variety of foods from around the world available at the festival, most of which seem to have some kind of love-related theme to them. Spaghetti for two a la Lady and the Tramp, heart-shaped pizzas, pink french macarons, hearty waffles on a stick, romantic eggs in a basket, Shrimp skewers, and more.

Running through the inner circle of the food stall areas is a small stream raised above the ground with candy and fruit decorations lining it to hide the metal fondue heater that keeps the chocolate within the body of the stream warm and flowing. There are large bins of fruits like strawberries, bananas, rice krispy treat bites, and other fun things to dip in the chocolate river. It's very cute, and very chocolatey.

Paddle Boats
The large pond in the middle of the park has a number of paddle boat swans available for you and your partner to go through a tunnel of love, or simply enjoy the water and get some alone time away from the rest of the party for a good cuddle.

Live Entertainment: Eli Ayase and Nico Yazawa!
The live entertainment will be provided by celebrity idol Nico Yazawa and Eli Ayase tonight! Put your hands together for a special performance filled with their L-O-V-E for everyone! ♥ ♥ ♥ They've got a wonderful set prepared!

Feel free to enjoy the concert either by standing up close or putting down a blanket for you and your bae. Blankets are available for purchase if you forgot yours!

Fortune Telling
Love fortune telling, of course! Find out your romance's future from famed fortune teller Geneva Godiva! She won't give any truly negative fortunes of course, it's a positive occasion, so if your outlook is bleak she might try to phrase it more positively or offer advice to turn things toward the positive. Feel free to pick your own fortune- be it anything from "You might want to see a couples counselor to make it through a rough patch, darlings" or "I see triplets!" or just "Wowie, I can see clearly now- your rain is gone! Looking good for this next year, sweetie pies!" Enjoy and have fun, the accuracy of the reading is up to you, but she won't tell you that a relationship is going to sink at any point. She'll use crystal ball, tarot, whichever- but not seance or anything. It's happy lovey-dovey fortune telling!

End of the Night
The festival itself was timed with the arrival of Genessia's firefly season. The first night of fireflies rising coincides with Valentine's Day this year, so if you stay until the end of the festival, you'll be able to see the fields light up with little glowing bugs. It's a romantic sight, best seen with your partner.

She squinted her eyes, looked at Ryuji, and centered herself directly in front of him, placing one of his hands on her hip.

"Don't worry, I'm okay with this." The blush was strange looking considering her confident words. "We just need to aim a little better!"

The man handed them another ring, and she closed her eyes, focusing.

"We can do this, right?"

She looked way more serious that she should for wanting to win a plush cactus, but it seemed to mean a lot to her to have it. Which, honestly, that's probably why she was so adamant about it.

A deep breath, a smile at her date, and then her focus back on the ring in their hands.

"One... two... three!"

She closed her eyes after it left their hands.

[on her hip now?! okay, okay just focus dude. ryuji swallowed thickly, but then he realized just how determined she seemed to be. something suddenly felt different, and he knew that he needed to act the part as well.

he nodded.]

We got this.

[he got ready along with her, and on three they both let go! there was a moment where they both watched the ring flew through the air until.....!!

THEY GOT THEIR TARGET!]

"Yes!" once the ring settled on the spot it needed to, she cried out happily, and immediately her hair turned more bright orange than magenta. She spun and hugged him just as quickly as well.

"We did it!" Until she realized just who she was hugging, and how tightly. Her hair then turned a pale pink mixed with the original magenta color as she let him go, smiling. Mimi then turned to the old man in the stall.

"May I have the cactus plush please?"

After he handed it to her, she hugged it with an almost nostalgic smile, and a flash of cyan appeared before it went back to the magenta color. She smiled bright at her date.

"So Ryuji-senpai~" she teased, "What do you want to do next?"

[his eyes lit up brightly when she hugged him, becoming a bright orange. he was happy for her, and happy they were able to win, and because of that the color then changed to a magenta. this girl... he was crazy attracted to her! she was great!

once she let go of him his gaze lingered on her face, a brief moment looking down at her lips before he shook his head. right right, focus on the carnival!

what were they gonna do next?]

Uuhh.... wanna grab somethin' to eat? I think I owe you a cotton candy!

[She blushed for a moment before linking her arm in his, holding the plush with the other. She already hugged him, and it WAS a date after all. A little closeness wouldn't hurt. Her smile was there as she nudged him with her hip.]

Yup! You do! I want the biggest, fluffiest pink cotton candy. You'll share it with me, right?

[this girl was so touchy, seriously?! but... hey he wasn't complaining at all, he was liking it a lot, actually.]

S-sure! Hell yeah I will! Let's go grab some right now.

[and he just walks off with her towards the stall!]

[After getting the cotton candy in her hands, making him hold her plush (that she was now calling Toge-chan), she led him to a bench near an outdoor heater and sat down.]

Sit with me Ryuji-senpai~

[She was grinning, excited about something as she tore a piece of the fluff and ate it.]

I hope you like sweets becaaaaaause.... [She used one hand and flipped open her purse to pull out a red and pink box with a ribbon, extending it out to him, doing her own fanfare.]

Dan-dan-dandan! Your beautiful date made you homemade chocolates!

And don't worry, I taste tested them so they're perfect for someone as cool and handsome as you!

Whoa....

[ryuji was speechless, really! it was true, he did have a beautiful date, and she made him chocolate?! this was seriously better than anything he could have imagined. he just stared down at the box before slowly taking it from her.]

Sh-shit... this is just... [suddenly he looked over at her and grinned!] Thank you so much Mimi! I didn't expect this at all! Hell yeah now I can brag to people about gettin' chocolates from such a good looking chick!
