Welcome to the Festival of Amore!
A wonderful festival dedicated to celebrating love of the romantic nature.



The whole park is decorated in the traditional colors of Valentine's Day, red, white, and various shades of pink. Hearts are the theme and though you won't be turned away, those without a partner to spend the evening with may get a few strange looks or start to feel rather lonely.

Festival Games
There are a number of activities to partake in, including festival games, the most popular of which seems to be the Super Ball Scooping, in which hundreds of balls float around in a pool of water, secretly marked with prizes- mostly goldfish, though there is one hidden that has a special romantic getaway to win! The challenge is that you must use a paper net, so the balls will often break as you try to get them into your bowl. Additionally, the balls are stirred up after each play of three scoops. Other traditional festival games like dart tossing, wack-a-mole, ring toss, and more. However, there is one challenge that you should be aware of for all games. You and your partner must do them together! This means two hands on the ring when you toss it! Hold the paper net steadily together! Good luck!

Food Stalls and the Chocolate Fondue Stream
There are a variety of foods from around the world available at the festival, most of which seem to have some kind of love-related theme to them. Spaghetti for two a la Lady and the Tramp, heart-shaped pizzas, pink french macarons, hearty waffles on a stick, romantic eggs in a basket, Shrimp skewers, and more.

Running through the inner circle of the food stall areas is a small stream raised above the ground with candy and fruit decorations lining it to hide the metal fondue heater that keeps the chocolate within the body of the stream warm and flowing. There are large bins of fruits like strawberries, bananas, rice krispy treat bites, and other fun things to dip in the chocolate river. It's very cute, and very chocolatey.

Paddle Boats
The large pond in the middle of the park has a number of paddle boat swans available for you and your partner to go through a tunnel of love, or simply enjoy the water and get some alone time away from the rest of the party for a good cuddle.

Live Entertainment: Eli Ayase and Nico Yazawa!
The live entertainment will be provided by celebrity idol Nico Yazawa and Eli Ayase tonight! Put your hands together for a special performance filled with their L-O-V-E for everyone! ♥ ♥ ♥ They've got a wonderful set prepared!

Feel free to enjoy the concert either by standing up close or putting down a blanket for you and your bae. Blankets are available for purchase if you forgot yours!

Fortune Telling
Love fortune telling, of course! Find out your romance's future from famed fortune teller Geneva Godiva! She won't give any truly negative fortunes of course, it's a positive occasion, so if your outlook is bleak she might try to phrase it more positively or offer advice to turn things toward the positive. Feel free to pick your own fortune- be it anything from "You might want to see a couples counselor to make it through a rough patch, darlings" or "I see triplets!" or just "Wowie, I can see clearly now- your rain is gone! Looking good for this next year, sweetie pies!" Enjoy and have fun, the accuracy of the reading is up to you, but she won't tell you that a relationship is going to sink at any point. She'll use crystal ball, tarot, whichever- but not seance or anything. It's happy lovey-dovey fortune telling!

End of the Night
The festival itself was timed with the arrival of Genessia's firefly season. The first night of fireflies rising coincides with Valentine's Day this year, so if you stay until the end of the festival, you'll be able to see the fields light up with little glowing bugs. It's a romantic sight, best seen with your partner.

Live Entertainment - Nico Song Requests!

[For an early portion of the festival, Nico is taking song requests! She's dressed up In a festive costume and standing by her mic stand. At her feet is a sign advertising their later concert and encouraging people to pick up some pink glow sticks to wave during the performance.]

Find Faye Anywhere - Open To All

Who cares what anyone said? Faye was a smart, beautiful independent woman, and if she wanted to go to some lame Valentine's festival on her own, then she would.

Faye's hair seems to have been afflicted by something - and not just her new shampoo. For the most part, for some unknown reason, it's an ugly cyan colour. So strange when all the couples around have mostly red or purple. At other points, when she watched the various couples around, her hair might turn dingy yellow in annoyance, grey with boredom, or, on the odd occasion she saw a couple who actually looked like they really cared for each other and were good for each other, a green shade.

GAMES

Faye is standing around, apparently on her own, and she looks really quite miffed that they won't let her play any of the gameson her own.

FOOD STALLS

Yes, this is more what she is here for. She joins the queues to try various things. They're all annoyingly cute, but she is hungry after all. Now, if only there's a place round here to get a drink. If you're nearby, she might ask you.

FORTUNE TELLING

The couples around her are having so much fun with these. When she thinks no one's looking, Faye will sidle up and ask to get one of her own.

Qrow has kind of given up on trying to hide his colorful hair and is now just wearing his currently grey for bored hair openly. If he pretends that it isn't changing colors on him all the time maybe others will ignore it as well.

So he's just wandering the festival, listlessly taking a look at the stalls and crowd watching while he's really just looking for a good place to get drunk.

When a woman with cyan-colored hair approaches him and asks about it, he raises a brow. "I was just looking for that myself." He squints a little at her. "Didn't we talk on the network? Planned on having a drink, before all that... everything happened in Fayren."

Thea Queen: OTA

Thea's hair had gone cyan in a mirror of her emotions, with Barry gone she had gotten lonely. Sure she loves her new job at the museum and she's been quietly looking into a part time second job via the bars or becoming a deputy guardian but she needs to be pulled back into life. Missing her boyfriend was not helping things since she still sees herself as very taken. For now however she's mostly wandering the festival, ducking the games but snagging some food.

Alessia: OTA

The princess' hair had gone bright magenta whenever she thought about Tsukasa, who she had been planning on meeting once at the festival (she hoped), and the little pale pink streaks that appeared when she realized what was happening made her so flustered that she just...shoved her hair under a baseball cap as she wandered the festival, going for the food first.

Kaitou was off... somewhere, and Tsukasa was taking pictures when he noticed Alessia through his lens. Looking up, he walked over, raising a hand. His eyes were a spring green color at the moment. "Hey," he greeted.

[...well, okay, she was. Just not the kind of fun might normally expect. Unless they were expecting 'fun' to be defined as 'follow around one of your close friends for roughly half an hour alongside your other close friend, snapping pictures of said first close friend while she was on a date.' Because if that was what was expected, then...um...okay, long story short, Mimi was being stalked with a camera and it would be a small miracle if her and Takeru weren't caught once the entire time.]

[Shenanigans aside, she did seem to be enjoying herself. Since this definitely wasn't a date, she hadn't thought to dress anything above comfortable casual, donning a cute blue long-sleeved dress and black leggings, short hair pulled back in a matching headband. Nothing unusual there. Oh, except for the fact that she was also wearing a pair of cat-eye sunglasses. Even when trying to take pictures.]

[Of course, that could only go on for so long, so once satisfied that a good number of forever keepsakes had been captured, Hikari stepped back and allowed herself the time to flip through her memory card. She'd snapped a few other shots along the way, although Mimi and her date were the primary subjects.]

It reminds me a little of the festivals back home.

[Takeru himself had two purposes when he initially came up with the idea, one was just to be nice the other was to just get Mimi's reactions when she realized what they had done. But Takeru himself had only been watching the whole time, wearing something akin to a casual long-sleeved shirt and jeans combo that Mimi hadn't yet seen him wear, so it made it a little easier to go unnoticed.

The other difference was the lack of hat and a pair of sunglasses that were sitting in his front pocket, which wasn't necessarily needed but thanks to his eyes changing colors, he knew he might need them for certain situations. But right now he seemed fine, even if his usual blue eyes were currently bright orange.

He soon found himself looking around slightly, taking in the whole thing. This place was really set up for couples, even the games seemed to have that two-person thing going on.]

Reminds me a little of that too, except the focus is more on couples. So pretty much if you wanted to come to this thing alone you'd be sorely disappointed.

[He paused briefly, before looking over at Hikari, if for a moment before looking away. He was trying to decide if perhaps the glasses need to come out right now or not. He was sure it would be fine.]

[Martha laughed softly as she was splashed when the boat jostled slightly. She had slipped her shoes off in order to paddle better. ]

[ Later in the evening, Martha leans back against John, wrapping his arms around her to stave off the chill. Yeah, sure, she was going to go with that. She smiled, as she watched the first of the Fireflies light up. ]

Martha figured everyone just wanted to go all for the Hearts holiday, what with the crazy hair and all that. Martha? well She remained unchanged and thought she looked quite good thank you very much. Of course, she was going to try everything at the Food Stalls. Martha Jones was nothing if not a foodie. Come bug her.

Martha really loved music and she didn't get to listen to it as much as she would have liked, so at some point during the evening she can found sitting on a blanket relaxing. She is smiling and dancing her own little dance to the music. Martha even grabbed a glow stick and tried to keep up.

Between Torchwood and simply finding her way Gwen's been oddly quiet as of late but she's trying.

[Anyone who wanders through the area full of games is certain to pass by the Super Ball Scooping section, which happens to be where Fran is currently wandering -- thanks to her own curiosity. As curious as she is however, she's more than content to watch as others attempt to scoop the balls out of the water pools. This is unacceptable to one stall runner who is currently trying their best to needle Fran into participating. For now, Fran is simply politely (but firmly) rejecting the offer.]

No, I do not wish so. [is her final answer, but the stall owner doesn't seem happy with that. Instead of taking her rejection they reach out and take her by the arm with the intention of guiding her to the pool's edge. They even put a paper net in her hand.

Fran, for all of her restraint, is extremely displeased and reacts accordingly. She jerks back quickly, dropping the net to the ground, and the motion she makes unfortunately has wide falling consequences. The stall owner trips and falls back, landing squarely in their own water pool, splashing water to the ground and causing several balls to spill to the floor. Fran simply stands there, folding her arms over her chest.]

Perhaps you would do best to take no for an answer, next time.

[for anyone nearby who witnessed the exchange she inclines her chin and tilts her head to the side slightly, almost inviting a response should they have something to say.]

Alas, witness how quickly Karma acts!

[Augustine chuckles once chaos erupts by the game stall across from him. He's been watching the exchange since the start, his gaze focused upon those large white rabbit ears upon the woman's head. The vampire had thought the woman to be some sort "mutant" based on her appearance alone but her aura paints a different story. Nevertheless, he steps into this silly scene with a vague smirk upon his face as he eyes stall owner with great amusement.]

Seems like someone forgot their manners. [He teases as he kneels down briefly to snatch up the paper net fell earlier.] All this trouble over a mere game.

[The vampire let's out a quiet chuckle before peering over at the peculiar woman with intrigue.]

Mimi could have sworn her hair was a gold color as she ditched her friends with a "Have fun you two~" and took Ryuji's hand to wander off to another part of the festival. However, now that she saw the parts of her hair that fell on her shoulders, she noticed it was a bright magenta color that matched her new dress she bought specifically for today. What did that color mean again?

Attraction.

She looked at her date with a shy smile.

Good thing he knew she was attracted to him or that would be REALLY embarrassing.

As soon as they were out of sight of her two friends, she had let go of his hand- suddenly feeling a nervousness she hadn't really felt all day. Streaks of bright orange and pale yellow appeared in her hair, mixed with some pale pink to go with that majority magenta color. Excited/happy, anxious, and embarrassed if she remembered correctly. Yep. That was EXACTLY how she felt.

"So..." she wrung her hands and tilted her head cutely. "Did you want to play any games?"

She was starting to regret letting go of his hand. She really wanted to hold it, but for once? She didn't want to force herself on him. Odd behavior for the biggest flirt in her group of friends. Then again, flirting was one thing, but actually liking someone was another!

[holy shit. holy shit. ryuji was finally here with his date, just like he had been so nervous and excited for all at the same time. he was wearing his purple jacket, but underneath was a black button up dress shirt that he had chosen to wear. he was also with his regular black pants, and he thought that he looked pretty damn good! he had listen to the advice of akechi, which was weirdly helpful, honestly.

meeting her was surreal, she looked even prettier in person than in her videos she had been sending. he was barely able to speak when they first started walking around together.

and when she took his hand? forget about it, he was already melting. that was evident in the way his eyes begun to change color. bright magenta. it was hard to hide it since his normally brown eyes had begun to switch to different colors.

he blinked once she let go of his hand, trying to get himself to focus.]

Huh? Oh! Uh... [right, they were at a festival.] Yeah! I mean, hell yeah- I'd love to!

Ignis Scientia || OTA, but arrived with Cindy Aurum

The fresh air would do him some good.

Sure, it was still rather cold outside, but Ignis had been spending far too much time inside recently. Even when training, it had been somewhere indoors. He was grateful to Gladiolus for helping him find a new way to fight, should the situation arise (given Ardyn's appearance in this world, that would no doubt come to pass).

But today was not about him, not completely, as he was being a friend and truest of gentleman to the beautiful girl on his arm.

"I apologize for not being of much use as an escort for the games, but I will try if you want to have at it." He smiled. Maybe it was the feeling of so many (mostly) happy people.

"Aww, Ignis." She said, with a smile coming through in her voice. "I may give it a try later, but let's go for a wander first." Linking her arm with his, she walked with him to explore the festival.

Honestly, he's not even sure why he came to the festival. It's not like he has anyone special to him. Not here, and not that kind of special back home, either. Yet, he finds himself wandering around. Just listening to the crowds of happy people. He can't help but smile faintly to himself, though as he passed the games, he couldn't help hearing one of the stall owners calling out to him. Asking if he'd like to try their game.

"Thanks, but no thanks." He didn't want to at all, nor did he have anyone to play with if he did. So chances were he'd just walk away unless someone stopped him.

Terra was alone as she made her way through the festival. Memories flashed behind her eyelids at the mention of love and merriment, making her pause and press her fingers to her forehead. She didn't understand why these memories were being triggered now and there didn't seem to be a way to escape it.

What is love?

She stumbled, gently bumping into Riku as he attempted to pull away from the games. Her palms rested on his arms to steady herself, her vibrant blue eyes looking up at him as an apology balanced on the tip of her tongue. "I'm sorry." Her voice was very soft as her brain processed the situation.

Her eyes dipped towards the games and then looked back up at Riku. "You aren't playing?"

Festival Games

[Long story short: Shi really wants a goldfish. He's been watching them for at least 30 minutes by now and is absolutely in love with them. He must have a goldfish friend.

But all of the stall games require two players... So he's just standing in front of various stalls, staring at the goldfish like he's some dejected lover.]

[Seth appears next to Shi with a relaxed smile. He's dressed in a casual suit, the only indication that he's noticed it's valentines day is the red rose pinned to his jacket.]

You look like you want to win a fish. [His pale golden eyes glitter as if there were gold flecks embedded into his iris while his hands rest comfortably in his pocket. He has nothing against having a fish in the apartment, as long as Shi takes care of it.]

Chocolate Fondue

[Eliot can be found lingering around the fondue fountain and eating a lot of fruit. A lot. He's well bundled, with a scarf, mittens, thick coat, and his hair highlights are a technicolour nightmare. Sometimes it's a content green, but it occasionally flickers to a lonely cyan. Despite his best pep talks, Eliot finds people watching to be very lonely on Valentines Day. ]

These things are so much more fun with friends... Why am I even here?

Everywhere -- and he's coming after you and your mood ring colours!

[Mid day, Eliot decides he's going to give himself a reason to be here: He's memorizing the colours in action! If he's going to be a good library and helpful to the people of Genessia, he needs to memorize this event. So if you're alone and have a colour-changing body part visible, Eliot is going to approach you at some point.]

[Augustine mutters under his breath once the little champ comes bumbling over. He doesn't seem the mind the boy's presence much but those formerly red eyes are a dull gray now. Is he truly that bored here? Perhaps. The festival is nice and all but Augustine isn't too interested in it beyond the food.]

But thank you for the concern.

[He says before quickly devouring one of those bright pink macroons. For a vampire, he certainly seems to enjoy the sweets.]

Mikaela Banes: OTA

Being determined to have fun today despite her lack of a date, you can find Mikaela flitting all over the Festival of Amore.

She is spending a lot of time snacking on the chocolate fondue stream, that's the one thing she keeps returning to for another nibble, but you will also have a good chance of catching her dancing to the live music or standing in line for fortune telling.

There's one very annoying thing about this festival, though: you can't play any of the games alone, so that means walking up to random people who are also alone and asking them to play with her.

For the moment he's concentrating fiercely on the dart board, trying to figure what cluster of targets is worth the most points. Look at his deep contemplation of maths and probabilities.

Then a pretty girl speaks to him, and out that goes!

"Oh, hello! Certainly! I'm Ted; good morning. You're Ms. Banes, correct?"

[She didn't really want to, but a good number of people told her to give it a try anyway. So here Eleanor was, entering the festival grounds, alone. No man to speak of, no friend to plays games with. She was as alone as anyone could be.

Eleanor explores the grounds, from the food stalls to the concert, to the fortune teller and the paddle boats. But every single thing she found all encourage partnership, something she doesn't feel comfortable doing alone. For each attraction she looked at, the more her determination is chipped away, until she finally didn't feel comfortable being here alone.]

What am I doing? I shouldn't be here...

[Eleanor begins to make her way towards the exit, but there was still time for her to run into someone to make coming here worth it.]

[Likewise, Eliot had been debating whether or not he should just leave. This festival seems designed to remind single people that they are alone, and he can't keep eating fruit forever.

Spotting Eleanor, he gives a wide and friendly wave. Equipped with a matching smile. He figures that if she's gone through the trouble of coming here, he really shouldn't give up yet.]

Remilia can be found just about anywhere, mostly with Satori close at hand... and when she is near, her wings were most certainly a magenta color more often than not, along with the gold of pride.

The food stalls and games where the first to get the vampire's interest, even so she's looking at the food with a critical eye.

Satori knew this was something she'd thought of for a while. Getting to know the vampiric elder sister was on her list of things and people to actually contact more than once. She looks away a little, the tentacles and arteries of her third eye fluctuating between tan and a light shade of pink. Occasionally that would flare up into prideful gold or magenta as well, as she tried to keep he emotions in check. For once, her facade wouldn't work. Not on Remilia and not on anyone else, either.

The stalls, however, were where Satori let down her guard. After all, even if her emotions were plain to read as the nose on her face, now, it might take her mind off things if she went along with it. She replied quietly, trying to keep her deeper emotions from showing too much...

"...I don't think anything is 'quite Sakuya standard'. Humans could study for years under master chefs and not really approach anything like that, as far as my sister's told me. And...after having seen some 'samples' she's brought back for me, I'm inclined to agree."

Satori's third eye turned to Remi and narrowed a little. Not in contempt, but more in understanding. "This place is fine, at least. The mental chatter here is mostly uniform. I'm glad." Glad for more reasons than one, but mostly that she had someone she liked a fair bit. That, and there was too much love in the air for there to be much hatred.

Quietly, she asked... "Is there anything here you'd like to try? Together, I mean." Pale pink again, even though her face was stoic as anything. Oh Satori, you're too easy to catch when someone knows how you think.

Mavis Vermillion - closed to Zeref

Mavis, still walking barefoot as usual, was wearing this dress and walking through the park with a big bright smile on her face. She loved festival and this one was simply amazing. And romantic. And cute. It was Valentine's Day themed. And guess what? She had a Valentine! She had even managed to convince him to come to the festival with her.

"Oh, look, Zeref! Chocolate fondue!"

It smelled so good. Even yummier than the waffles and macarons she could spot in one of the food stalls nearby.

Zeref was similarly festive. It was Valentine's Day, and while this was far from his first date with Mavis, it was his first date with the Guardian of Fayren, and he was going to ensure that he dressed the part. It didn't much convincing this time around; he knew Mavis wasn't going to be unable to skip the Festival of Amore, and he knew she wasn't going to go without him. Besides... it had been too long since their last date.

He was just pulling a shrimp off of a skewer when she pointed out the chocolate fondue. It did indeed smell good, even to someone without much of a sweet tooth like Zeref.

"Don't let Erza see that," Zeref replied, only half-joking. He bit the shirmp off at the tail, and tossed the tail into a nearby trashcan before turning his attention back to the fountain. "I take it you don't want to wait until dessert?"

Lea | Many Places around the festival!

Closed to Karla

Lea met up with Karla at her place so they could go to the Festival together, the walk to the park being occupied by pleasant conversation not too dissimilar to what they might have at work. When they got to the park however, Lea was surprised to see just how many hearts were in evidence and in how many forms. "Wow," he said. "I mean I guess I should have expected it, given the holiday and all, but that's a lot of hearts. And a lot of pink."

"So," he asked, "anything in particular you wanted to check out first?"

Lea was making an effort to see everything the festival had to offer and thus could be found in multiple places throughout the day. Karla might be with him or they might have gone off to do separate things for a little while. Who knows? But Lea wouldn't object to having more people to talk to.

Karla was indeed just as awed at the sights of pink hearts and other heart-shaped things as the pair arrived at the carnival.

"Indeed," she replied. "Can you just feel the love?"

She laughed at her own question. She was just teasing, of course. Then she looked around, pondering what activities to try.

"Hmm. The fortune-telling thing sounds interesting. The boat ride would be relaxing, too. Of course, we should try a few games, and then get a little snack afterwards..."

Yeah, it sounded like they were going to have a fun day here.

Cloud Strife ⚔ OTA

[the festive looking park catches the blond's eye as he rides past it on his motorcycle. or rather, he would have ridden past it had it not been for the streets filling up with civilians and couples everywhere. rumbling through the street, Cloud struggled with deciding whether he'd check out the festivities of this new world or not. when he'd finally made his way past the park, he gave a little huff as he parked Fenrir along the side of the road, setting the kickstand as he lowered his shades to look at all the lights and the varying shades of love]

[guess there's no harm in checking things out. leaving Fenrir parked, Cloud finds himself awkwardly shuffling through crowds of people, most of which seemed to be together. that was the point of this kind of festival, wasn't it? it wasn't like anything he'd seen back home. at least, not unless it was out of the Gold Saucer. when Cloud realizes that in order to even play any of the games, it had to be done as couples, the blond was quick to humbly reject any offers to be helped to find someone. while he didn't quite get annoyed with how pushy some of the folk were with reminding him that he was alone, Cloud eventually gave up with a "Not interested." before walking away to get some much-needed breathing room.

[while Cloud is still on the festival grounds, he's found a convenient spot more in the open where he's opted to take a seat on the grass. this felt a little better for him, not quite as boxed in by other people, especially around those he didn't know. while he thought he'd recognized a couple of faces in the crowd here and there, the blond kept to himself. it was just in his nature, being more reserved (granted he could come out of his shell if no one was looking...or the pressure was on). but hearing the music, watching the smiles on everyone's faces and the couples that were laughing or teasing one another...

his thoughts start to wander as his gaze sets out across the grounds from the grassy hill he was sitting.

what would Tifa and the kids have thought about a festival like this? Yuffie attempting to drag Vincent along by his cape (who'd otherwise probably be right beside Cloud if he was forced to come along), the thought amusing him. or Barret carrying his daughter on his shoulder over the heads of the people around the games, the food... even the idol concert that was taking place later tonight. who'd have gotten involved? for some reason, Cloud thinks about the girls getting into the spirit of things as Nico and Eli fired up the crowd. ...and somehow the thought of Cait Sith waving a pair of glow sticks around- but that made absolutely no sense. not unless Reeve made another one and still opted for controlling it here. it almost made him laugh, softly sighing through his nose.

[Not having anything like Valentine's Day back home, Colette had similarly not realized that everything at the festival was couple themed. She had of course assumed some of it would be, but it seemed a little exclusive to not let everyone play. Still, she wandered through the park, her eyes spring green as she takes it in, glad at least that everyone else seems to be having a good time.

She gives her friends a thought and giggles lightly, knowing that if they were here Genis would be stuttering around Presea and Zelos would be trying to charm as many of the ladies here as he could. She misses them dearly, but she's made so many friends here that she can't be sad. Besides, she'll see them again one day, she's sure of it.

She's picking up some rare not-heart-shaped sweets for Dray (who she knows has been down since Jaune dumped him) as well as a few for herself and her friends when she notices a familiar blond sitting atop the hill. Her eyes flash to a bright orange and she gives a cheerful wave before she heads up to meet him, only tripping a little in her hurry.]

I didn't expect to see you here! [She reaches into the shopping bag and pulls out a giftbox before holding it out to him.] Happy festival! I hope it's okay; I didn't know what you like. I can always get you something else though if you don't like it!

Festival Games - OTA

[He has no idea what he's doing here, other than that Robin insisted he attend. A festival of romance and love? It just seems like a reminder of what most of them don't have. But he's determined to try and have a good time for her, despite the pale lunar yellow of his eyes that reflects his normal hair color. He approaches the games and stops when he's informed he needs a partner. He glances around. Where did Robin go...?]

Food Stalls - OTA

THEY HAVE WAFFLES!?!

[Jaune's delighted words are probably loud enough to distract any nearby couples from their own attempts to romance, the yellow in his eyes blooming into a bright orange as he gathers as many waffles as his arms can hold. They're even shaped like cute little hearts!]

Paddle Boats - Closed to Robin

[Look. It's not romantic, okay? They're just good friends and it seemed like a nice way to get away from the crowds. Half the waffles he bought from before sitting next to him, Jaune averts tan eyes to the water, lowering his hand to spin little spirals in the water.]

[The festival is more amazing than Belle could have imagined. She doesn't fully understand the cause or reason for valentines day but it's sweet to see so many people enjoying the festival with those that they love. She doesn't think it has to be romantic love and as she wanders through the stands she finds herself thinking of her father, the friends she's made in Genessia and Prompto.

She walks pass the games with a soft smile spreading over her lips. Belle doesn't know if she should play anything since she's currently wandering around the festivities alone but they look like fun and a few catch her eye. She watches the net game, smiling as more than a few goldfish are handed out to some of the pairs.] Are fish common pets? [She wonders aloud before turning and continuing her path.

Later she can be found near the food stands, sampling the different treats that have been selected for the holiday. Everything is heart shaped and adorable. Belle spends a little to long near the chocolate fountain, feeling as giggly as a school girl as she dips a strawberry in the chocolate stream. She's never experienced anything like this and it's amazing!

Once she's torn away from the chocolate fountain she wanders between the fortune tellers, not pausing to see what lovelorn fortune she might be given. She spends a few minutes sitting near the paddle boats, watching them as she takes a break on a bench off to the side.

Even without the glowing bugs at the end of the night, it's a very lovely festival.]

[Her curiosity draws her in but as she walks around she isn't sure what to do. She's been alone for most of her life and this one day isn't changing that fact. Enis isn't sure how she feels about the festival. It's lovely, for what it is, but it's very sad too.

Love has been absent in her life.

She finds a place out of the way to sit and watch the people enjoying the festival. There are mostly couples but Enis spots a few people wandering around on their own. She pulls a knee to her chest while her other leg curls beneath her. Work and other obligations are miles away as she loses herself to her thoughts.

Is this what it's like to have a normal life?

Festival Games

Even though the gems on the small vampire's wings kept shifting between cyan and tan, Flandre still wanders about the festival. The games keep her interest even if she can't play herself. Watching others working together to varying degrees of success have her entertained. Any silly failures gets a giggle and sometimes a word of advice and wins getting cheering.

Although the fact she can't play just makes those colors on her wings slightly brighter, a frown crossing her face as she weaves in and out of the crowd.

Chocolate Fondue Stream

This is where those colors add orange to the mix! Flandre is off to the side with a mixture of items to dip into the fondue. It's highly likely she's got too much for just herself because what is portions with normal food.

She's giggling and snacking away, looking to the sky above in quiet contemplation.

Ten really doesn't understand the appeal of this human holiday; because if you love someone it shouldn't be just one day of being romantic but - whatever. He's got his group of misfits and only if they want to make it romantic will it turn romantic.

He does favor towards the games but can also be tugged to other areas.

Meanwhile, a certain Time Lord is like a bee to a flower with the sugar and is eating some of everything and may or may not be licking in the chocolate fountain.

She's still holding Ten's hand, and does smile and cheer him on for the games though. But walking around and with regards to food?

Jack's hair is a light pink declaring his current contentment with his situation. With people he knows he is more than happy to be pulled toward games or rides as long as his hand is being held. In terms of food, as long as it doesn't have banana in it, Jack will eat it. His lovers/friends might also noticed he's wearing a leather thong around his neck with something tucked into his shirt.

Jack has broken away from the TARDIS pack to wander. He is smiling at people who look lonely and maybe exchanging a bit of flirty back and forth to cheer up those who need it. He's mostly people watching, but could be convinced to try some food or a game if pressed.

Gwen's dark hair was flecked with cyan, on a day of love she's simply missing her husband. But her friends are lifting her spirits so there's flecks of various colors ranging from somewhat happy to confused. She also is wearing her wedding ring but on a chain around her neck, its just practical. But tucked into her bag is small bags she's made for the TARDIS pack in general, she sees no harm in marking the day since she does have her friends both old and new. She then spots Jack,"Snagged you a coffee! The lines were nasty." the two cups in tow as she speaks along with shifting them so she can offer a hug.
