Welcome to the Festival of Amore!
A wonderful festival dedicated to celebrating love of the romantic nature.

The whole park is decorated in the traditional colors of Valentine's Day, red, white, and various shades of pink. Hearts are the theme and though you won't be turned away, those without a partner to spend the evening with may get a few strange looks or start to feel rather lonely.

Festival Games
There are a number of activities to partake in, including festival games, the most popular of which seems to be the Super Ball Scooping, in which hundreds of balls float around in a pool of water, secretly marked with prizes- mostly goldfish, though there is one hidden that has a special romantic getaway to win! The challenge is that you must use a paper net, so the balls will often break as you try to get them into your bowl. Additionally, the balls are stirred up after each play of three scoops. Other traditional festival games like dart tossing, wack-a-mole, ring toss, and more. However, there is one challenge that you should be aware of for all games. You and your partner must do them together! This means two hands on the ring when you toss it! Hold the paper net steadily together! Good luck!

Food Stalls and the Chocolate Fondue Stream
There are a variety of foods from around the world available at the festival, most of which seem to have some kind of love-related theme to them. Spaghetti for two a la Lady and the Tramp, heart-shaped pizzas, pink french macarons, hearty waffles on a stick, romantic eggs in a basket, Shrimp skewers, and more.

Running through the inner circle of the food stall areas is a small stream raised above the ground with candy and fruit decorations lining it to hide the metal fondue heater that keeps the chocolate within the body of the stream warm and flowing. There are large bins of fruits like strawberries, bananas, rice krispy treat bites, and other fun things to dip in the chocolate river. It's very cute, and very chocolatey.

Paddle Boats
The large pond in the middle of the park has a number of paddle boat swans available for you and your partner to go through a tunnel of love, or simply enjoy the water and get some alone time away from the rest of the party for a good cuddle.

Live Entertainment: Eli Ayase and Nico Yazawa!
The live entertainment will be provided by celebrity idol Nico Yazawa and Eli Ayase tonight! Put your hands together for a special performance filled with their L-O-V-E for everyone! ♥ ♥ ♥ They've got a wonderful set prepared!

Feel free to enjoy the concert either by standing up close or putting down a blanket for you and your bae. Blankets are available for purchase if you forgot yours!

Fortune Telling
Love fortune telling, of course! Find out your romance's future from famed fortune teller Geneva Godiva! She won't give any truly negative fortunes of course, it's a positive occasion, so if your outlook is bleak she might try to phrase it more positively or offer advice to turn things toward the positive. Feel free to pick your own fortune- be it anything from "You might want to see a couples counselor to make it through a rough patch, darlings" or "I see triplets!" or just "Wowie, I can see clearly now- your rain is gone! Looking good for this next year, sweetie pies!" Enjoy and have fun, the accuracy of the reading is up to you, but she won't tell you that a relationship is going to sink at any point. She'll use crystal ball, tarot, whichever- but not seance or anything. It's happy lovey-dovey fortune telling!

End of the Night
The festival itself was timed with the arrival of Genessia's firefly season. The first night of fireflies rising coincides with Valentine's Day this year, so if you stay until the end of the festival, you'll be able to see the fields light up with little glowing bugs. It's a romantic sight, best seen with your partner.

[Eliot begins pointing out some of the standard games. At least, the ones that he has read about recently. Though he recognizes a few, he has no memories of actually playing them himself.]

With that game, I believe you scoop up balls in paper nets. Over there, you throw darts at balloons to get prizes... Or at that stall, throw rings at prizes. Then there is 'whack-a-mole.'

[After finishing, he looks back to Rapunzel.]

Have you played festival games before?

[She shook her head slightly. They had been something she had never seen before, even here she had yet to really experience such a thing.]

No, not at all. I mean I couldn't back home and here no one's really had anything with such games. So this is my first time.

[And really had no idea how they were played, but she looked at the paper nets excitedly.]

They all look like fun though, but since this is a special kind of festival I guess there are special rules...

[ That’s a sad and curious fact to note. Why couldn’t she? Rapunzel seems like the type of girl who would be very popular and invited to all sorts of events.

He would pry, but it isn’t his place.]

I think we have to hold hands? [ At that, he holds out his hand to her. ]

Shall we give it a try? I’m sure we can win one of the prizes.

[She had gone to kneel down taking a close look and looking over at those who were playing. he had been in fact correct as Rapunzel looked over.]

Let's give it a go~ I am sure it will be fun.

I agree! The only failure is not trying!

[Eliot is surely quoting someone, because he doesn't try much anymore. But if it's to make someone happy, he'll risk disappointment.

After paying for a round of the game, Eliot comes over to kneel next to her.]

The little paper net looks delicate, huh?

I guess it's meant to. if it was thicker it would be too easy, right?

[Which would defeat the purpose of the game... At least this was a thought that crossed her mind as she looked at it.]

But never the less we will try our best and even if we lose we tried and that is what matters. [She smiled happily but for the moment she picks it up before looking over.] But what do we do now?

[She's so optimistic. Even Eliot finds it contagious.]

I believe the next step is to get one of those balls into a cup. We'll have to be gentle so our net doesn't break.

[Eliot rolls up his sleeves and grins childishly.] Ready to go, partner?

I'm ready, gentle is something I can do.

[She believes so anyway, but she didn't mind if they failed or not, she was honestly just having fun.]

Then I think we're set--- Oh.

[Thinking of the prizes, Eliot is reminded that he has surprises... get it? laugh.

He pauses to reach into his pocket and takes out a thin hair ornament shaped like a flower. He's picked a golden one with green jeweling to match her eyes because that's how he rolls.]

For luck! I meant to give this to you earlier, but... oops.

[She nodded she was about to go when he spoke again. Confused slightly, she moved to look over, see what it was he was giving for luck. She assumed those lucky charm things she had heard a thing or two about, but it wasn't.

It was very beautiful. She couldn't help but smile slightly. Though it did also make her realize all the gifts she had for people were at home.]

A hair accessory is only as beautiful as the person wearing it.

[And in light of that plurk, this is a terrible line for Eliot to shoot out. But it's true. He did pick it specifically because he knew that Rapunzel would make it shine. Everything deserves its best chance to shine, right?]

And with that, I'm sure we can definitely complete this challenge.

[As much as she had gotten gifts at Christmas from people she knew or friends, this one was a lot nicer and felt a little special. She knew at least she probably would always wear it.

She didn't understand why though.]

Right. Though I think we should go now, the guy at the stand is staring and waiting.

Ah- oops!

[Eliot looks up with a sheepish smile, embarrassed to have gotten so distracted. And over something like giving a girl a present, too. He's aware someone might read into that. He glances back to Rapunzel, then readies the net for another try.]

Here we go, then! In three? Two?

[Rapunzel's nodded before she was focusing on the task once again at hand. She had some idea of how it was done and the thing that stopped them was the focus. hands were steady as she was ready.]

Let's do this. [Said filled with determination.]

[And Eliot is going to follow her movements. He's hardly a leader, but he knows a thing or two about following. Regardless of the results, he can't help but laugh when the silly game sinks in. Both due to its simple fun, and some of the water literally sinking/soaking his sleeve.]

Oh, dear! I don't seem to be very good at this... The poor net is so delicate!

I think the net is really thin, but oh well.

[They didn't win, the net just kept breaking, but she didn't mind. She was just here to have fun and she knew that currently, she was having fun.
