DEPUTY RECAP:
Maribelle- both deputy (person who arrests people) and the public defender (how terrifying is it that the person who arrests you is who your life is dependent on? not fair to anyone who needs legal representation whether they're criminal or not, bias, horrifying)

Marco- about 90% sure he set that fire, threatened to do it again

Remilia- so egotistical she had to come try to rub it in my face after they won, then acted surprised when she got treated like shit for being an asshole. an immature bully who threatens anyone who questions her. definitely the kind of person you want in this position.

Don't know about Hikaru Takeda and Seth Rim yet, but I am sensing a pattern here lol

Like saying "poo" has a different meaning that "shit." Crap is still crap, the only meaning it has is what you give it.

[ Though Emerald's a lot more skilled at things like that- making someone believe they care about you, then breaking that image. Words are as powerful illusions as actual illusions sometimes. Don't have to be able to curse to do real damage. ]

A lot of children laugh at everything and don't see the world for what it is though, I'm not sure you count.

[ Which is good. Because Emerald is in that 'don't count' category too, since she doesn't get how people laugh at everything all the time. Happy people are awful. ]
