Remilia- so egotistical she had to come try to rub it in my face after they won, then acted surprised when she got treated like shit for being an asshole. an immature bully who threatens anyone who questions her. definitely the kind of person you want in this position.

Don't know about Hikaru Takeda and Seth Rim yet, but I am sensing a pattern here lol

I work as a duputy for Grell purely on a volunteer basis to try to keep some modicum of justice and peace in Everglade. I am not privy to any information regarding cases that I am defending, and I am always impartial so that I may defend any who need representation.

You're still law enforcement whether it's on a volunteer basis or not! No one is going to feel safe and properly defended if they know you're always going to side with your own team. And whether you will or not doesn't change anything because no one but you knows that for sure.

ALL that accomplishes is you making people fear for their lives because they might be defended by someone who works for the people who arrested them. If you can't even see that you don't deserve to be in either position. Your word doesn't mean anything, especially when your life isn't the one in your hands.

Isn't this the sort of thing I'm not supposed to shy away from anymore? Not being scared when people want me to be, speaking up when I'm supposed to stay quiet and no one else will? I'm trying, Cassian, if they're getting ready to fight me over it then maybe that's what they need to do. I'm not going to stop doing my job because I'm scared of them. Maybe I'm not a Guardian or an entrepreneur but there are a few people who depend on me to bring them things.

I actually resigned gracefully and said nothing about anyone until now, despite that their team went out of their way to try to kick me when I was down.
