[When the feed turns on, Dray smiling like he just won the pokemon lottery. His tail moves lazily behind him and his ears are up.]
Hello everyone! I just got the most majestic pokemon! He’s fierce and loyal, with scales that seem made of steel and a powerful jaw. I can’t decide what to name him, though. I’m torn between Leviathan, Bonecrusher or Shadowbringer. What do you all think? This is him…
[He turns the camera towards the pond next to his garden to show his magnificent pokemon…
….It’s a Magikarp.
A Magikarp that’s splashing around desperately as if he's having a seizure, trying to get away from a Pidgeotto trying to grab him. Dray frowns and throws an apple at the bird, making it fly away. It’s clearly not the first time this had happened if his precision hitting the flying pokemon is any indication.]
Anyway, the name...
[There’s a rather distressed whine coming from off camera and Colette can be heard speaking in a soothing tone.]
Molly, what’s the matter? Come here. Hey, Dray? [Her voice is louder now.] Did you lick my Swirlix again? I told you it really upsets her!
[Dray's eyes shift and his ears drop, he look more than a little guilty.] Er.....Noooo?
video
[Shi has bought into this majestic Magikarp idea.]
I like all of the names! But if you name him Bonecrusher, won't that be a bad omen for his own health too?
video
Isn't he? He tries so hard and he's so very athletic! [Right, lets' call it 'athletic'.] Did you get a pokemon too?
What, really? I had no idea that names could do that.

[And that's all Shi needs to know, apparently.]
I don't know if names really have any power, but I like to think a good name can bring good things.
no subject
[More than good enough for Dray too.]
Hm, you might be right. I need to chose the right one for him.

[This hardly qualifies as important.]
[Still. She eyes the flopping fish with a steely gaze. Really, she should ignore this, but...]
Tidal rage. And for the sake of all that's good, put the thing in some water.
[...but he's a friend, and she's starting to appreciate that a little more these days.]
[She still signs off with a brisk click, though.]

[Awww...she's gone :( Okay, he will go make sure the magikarp gets back into the pond. That creature seems to be able to survive anything, though.]

Would you consider other suggestions? I think Ryuujin suits him. Like a dragon god.
[ Carp is in his name, so he wants the Magikarp to be called something suitably magnificent.]
no subject
And yes, I am. I want to know other people's opinion. That name is really amazing, I never considered anything like that before. I'll add it to the possible list. Thank you, mr....?
[A good suggestion. Dray might end using a combo of name for the pokemon, like Tidal Rage Ryuujin Leviathan.]

He has the potential for greatness, and he's adorable.

I like to think so! I know he doesn't look too strong but even weak pokemon need love. Did you change your ticket too?

[He's a dork, and bad at naming things.]
Bonecrusher is the best.
Re: Video
[Do you honestly think Dray is any better?]
One extra point for Bonecrusher it is then. Thanks, darling.
Video
[Isn't it great?]
Definitely the best name. It looks like a Bonecrusher.
Re: Video
[Yeahhh...no.]
Heh, thanks. He is a strong fish. Did you change your ticket too?

[Fai is acting up right now, mostly for pretend.]
Such intimidating names you got there.
video;
He needs a scary, strong name so other pokemon don't try to bully him!
[Obviously, it isn't working since is the third time Dray had to step in to stop an animal from eating his magikarp.]

[It's a good name for the little guppy.]
Re: Video
I like that one a lot too but Prompto told me it's the name of a god and I don't want to offend one of those.
Video
[Seth studies the video before continuing.]
In some cultures naming something after a good is a way to grant it strength. Alternatively, have you asked your little swimming friend if he likes one name over the other?
