[The video opens up with Gale in what looks like a hospital waiting room- in Nova City, judging by the appearance of the backdrop. He's got a serious face on, and the visible markings on his neck seem to be more of a greyish-blue than the vibrant blue they normally are. He pushes up his mini-glasses.]

[That was an odd thing to say formally to the public for the first time, despite having the position for months.]

It's pretty obvious already that weird things are goin' on. Again. We got familiar faces turnin' into kids, but we've got other issues too. Some of you oughta remember that Attleton incident a couple years ago where tons of folks lost one of their senses. That's goin' around again. I don't know if it's directly connected to the whole "different age" thing, but a wreck happened in Nova City earlier due to a resident suddenly losing their sight for no discernible reason.

Don't ask me if it's connected to that egg warning someone broadcasted earlier. We can't confirm anything, so I couldn't tell ya what Genessia's up to this time. Regardless if they're connected or simply isolated incidents, exercise caution.

[He doesn't like this "making an announcement" stuff when it doesn't involve booze at his businesses, but after what happened to Faye, he wasn't going to wait to see if Garrus was going to do it.]

[What he of course means to ask is "Are we all okay or is the team compromised?" He's just hella cranky and is going to be pissed if he's the only one that's still an adult. Please let them all be sane.]

I, Emerald Sustrai, have a confession to make.

[ This looks like such a serious video, but then she turns it on an open window. This is no normal window as, for those who don't know, Emerald lives in the SkyHouse Network located tens of thousands of feet in the sky. She moves toward it, slowly as she approaches the edge, carrying the video with her and setting it on the ledge. ]

There's a bird's nest up here and I think the babies are kind of cute so I'm going to film it as part of my "Emerald tries to be less of a jerk" campaign. People like sharing cute stuff.

[ She sounds uncertain about it, a little nervous. Which is understandable, she's stepping onto the outer ledge of the window, carefully balancing as she scoots on the edge. It's a few feet away, and she gets down to the nest and kneels down and then...

Her foot slips, and she lets out a scream, and then she falls off the ledge and the video is just of some baby birds tweeting in a nest.

(ooc note: she has a parachute and will respond with locked responses after about an hour IC time, public responses after about a day. she's just being an asshole and thought it would be funny to scare the hell out of people. anyone in Nova might see a parachute shoot up in the sky and she'll be using her abilities as a huntress to land it despite that it's in the middle of a city. it's not visible bc it's some nova city advanced super sleek parachute, which doesn't do much besides be less bulky so it's easy to hide. no emeralds were harmed in the making of this video.) ]

[When the feed turns on, Dray smiling like he just won the pokemon lottery. His tail moves lazily behind him and his ears are up.]

A Magikarp that’s splashing around desperately as if he's having a seizure, trying to get away from a Pidgeotto trying to grab him. Dray frowns and throws an apple at the bird, making it fly away. It’s clearly not the first time this had happened if his precision hitting the flying pokemon is any indication.]

Anyway, the name...

[There’s a rather distressed whine coming from off camera and Colette can be heard speaking in a soothing tone.]

Molly, what’s the matter? Come here. Hey, Dray? [Her voice is louder now.] Did you lick my Swirlix again? I told you it really upsets her!

[Dray's eyes shift and his ears drop, he look more than a little guilty.] Er.....Noooo?

Action 1: For Ellen

Suguha lay motionless, a cord length stuck in a outlet in the wall. She seemed quiet, with a device wrapped around her eyes. If Ellen found her in their shared room for the time being, she would be too quiet, like something had happened. In truth, Suguha was experiencing the VR that the city provided.

But all too soon, she sighed and opened her eyes. "It's not immersive enough."


Action 2: For Outside

Suguha had gone for a walk.

It seemed that even in the cold, Suguha didn't really find it all that bothersome, as she wandered from place to place, shop to shop.

She steered clear of Fayren, having no way to deal with anything, but she was looking for a sporting good shop. A shinai would be nice to swing around.

Otherwise, she went to the coffee shop where she met Takeru previously. But her mind was far away.

Just a single post. Neo's post got her thinking.

Suguha knew she had issues. And yet... she had to ask.

How do you deal with forbidden love?

[Yang's serious face flashes onto the screen, her arms loosely folded over her chest. One hand comes up to gesture as she begins.]

So I'm just going to get straight to the point for this: I need some sparring partners. And I don't just mean people who are good at punching and kicking, I mean someone who can test me and push my limits.

[She shakes her head with a small frown.]

I just... I need to be better. More controlled, more thoughtful. So whatever you're good at, weaponry, magic, super powers -- I'm interested. Maybe I'll give you a run for your money too.

...And if you're any good at dealing with enchanters or illusionists, send me a private line. There's a bounty that's giving me more trouble than he's worth, and I could use some tips, or back-up.

[Not something she likes admitting, especially for a one-star bounty, but that's how things stand.]

[The video begins with that very abrupt declaration from Orihime, her fists raised, brow furrowed, cheeks flushed. It's only abrupt because there were so many previous false starts before pushing record, and every time she practiced prior to this, she got too flustered to say the right words.]

[Best to just put it out there, and let the rest fall into place.]

[Now that she's said it, she takes a deep breath, lets her hands fall into her lap where they're clasped tightly together, and she grins sheepishly.]

I hope that wasn't too loud. I'm not really used to admitting it, since it's kind of a secret back home. But it's one of the things I can do, and I thought, 'Oh, that would be good for people to know in case of an emergency.' And you don't have to be human or organic for it to work, since it's not...technically...healing. It's more like...

[She hesitates, and her shoulders grow tense.]

It's...well...how do I put it...it's like rejecting the event that caused the injury in the first place, so it doesn't leave scars, or stains. So...even if your leg gets chopped off, or you get completely blown away, I can fix it if I can get to you before your body disappears. I haven't really found my limits yet, to be honest.

[She's slowly been shrinking in on herself. Then she suddenly sits up straight and waves her hands frantically.]

But I promise I'm not a monster or a god or anything like that! And I won't get rid of any injuries or scars you want to keep!

[Orihime was listening at the debates. She'd never even thought of a scar being like a memory, so now she knows better.]

Just...just please keep it in mind. I'm a volunteer with Heals on Wheels, and though I'm not really sure what we're supposed to do since I joined, I'm very much on call at any time you need me.

[Her head bobs, and for a moment she looks like she's going to keep talking. But she realizes she can't think of anything more to say. So she bobs her head again.]

[ There's a man in a military uniform on the screen. He's in the Commons and starting to settle in.]

[ He displays a bromide of a heavily scarred man. This shows the level of photography during his time period. He figures anyone who knows him could respond, or anyone who has ever seen First Lieutenant Tsurumi in the past.]

[ He says something in Satsuma dialect, which is quite different from other Japanese dialects.]
