[It was without much warning that it happened. One moment, things were quite normal for the guild, and the next, there was another being in their midst. Mewtwo had opted to conceal himself some, and was wearing a brown cloak with a hood that covered his face. He stood where he arrived in the center of the building, scanning the area both visually and mentally when he announced himself. His voice rang out as if from the very walls, overpowering any noise that may have been happening at the time.]

I demand to see Lucy Heartfilia.

[ She reached over to put a hand on his shoulder. ]

Not your fault.

[ And neither was Future her's. But she knew he'd still blame himself - it was fine to want to get stronger to be able to protect what -and who- was important to him, but... ]

[He moved one hand over hers and held it there for a brief moment. ]

I won't let it happen again though. I'll figure something out.

[ She smiled, cheeks faintly pinker as she nodded. ]

I know you will. You always do.

[Now he just needs to find a way to counter psychic attacks. Still he's just glad to have Lucy's back with all of her memories intact.]

You bet. Just leave it to me.

[He only slowed down the moment the tall guild building came into view from the street level. Home. ANd they made it safely.]

[ She glanced over her shoulder briefly, and then turned back to glance at him with a smile of confidence. ]

[ He always figured out a way to fight back against something different - he's an intuitive fighter that way. As the Guild came into view though, she hesitated, taking a half step away. ]

Look, we made it! Home sweet home away from home.

[Before she could take a halfstep he would have to put her down which he actually did albeit reluctantly.]

Yeah. Everyone will be relieved to see you back unharmed.

[His relief was already conveyed when he carried her and was able to relax again.]

[ Good thing! People would tease them if they saw him carrying her home. Or saw how comfortable she was being carried home. Darn appearances. ]

[ Thankfully her books had been picked up and put neatly on the table by someone inside. As tempting as it would be to lean against him - even if it was just a touch. She smiled instead, glad that he was more relaxed now that she was safely back. ]

[He would always be at his most peaceful if Lucy was with him. That was a truth that would only be reinforced as time went by and their relationship slowly careened to that inevitable conclusion.]

Heh of course. Not about to let some shady looking guy with an attitude problem take away something so precious to...to us all I mean!

[ She glanced at him when he almost slipped up. They were getting careless the closer they got. Or at least she was. ]

[ She shook her head a little, quickly smiling. ]

[ She paused, then let her words die in the air, sauntering over to pad into the guild. Nope, nope she ..wasn't going to say anthing incriminating. ]
