[ Eliot had just invited Rip to come stay with him at his apartment. There is little worse to Eliot than leaving a lady without a roof over her head, or proper curtains to block out the sun. He was busy moving his belongings from the bedroom that he was loaning Rip: Important things, like books he still needed to read and a notebook with his pocket watch melody written down. You know. All his belongings... which he really doesn't have much of.
When he hears the apartment door unlocking, Eliot suddenly drops the books he was holding and spins around. Now in a fantastic mood, he waits with a big smile and shining eyes for the door to open. There's only one person it could be, after all. ]
Augustine~!!! Welcome home!
[present day video]
[And now, for something completely unrelated. Eliot wondering what to call the feeling of enjoying Augustine's presence in the apartment. Anyone who knows of normal relationships might realize that Eliot thinks of Augustine as a father.
For Eliot, however, the comparison is very different.]
So... I've never had someone nice to live with me before... Is there a word for this kind of relationship? I feel like a dog who is happy to have someone to sit with on the couch. Is there a name for that? [Yes, Eliot is comparing himself to a dog.]

video; I am sorry for this reply.
I would call that master and servant or to quote someone else being someone's bitch. [This is why you don't use being like a dog as a description.]
I mean there is nothing wrong with wanting to be someone's bitch, mind but that's what it sounds like.
deserves it x1000
I see... I feared that was the case. What should I do? I can't imagine anyone would find that anything less than creepy and concerning.

[Considering currently how she goes about business since the way she did things at home was vastly different.]
If it's willing then it's not a bad thing. I mean you like being someone's bitch you just need to accept it. Be proud and take it when they want it.

One can state an harsh thought if it fits the wording behind it.

action
[There's no mistaking that lyrical tone. Augustine enters the scene humming and jamming to the song he has on repeat. After a few jingles and a turn, the door finally opens and the man of the hour steps inside. He's impeccably dressed in his signature scarlet suit with his matching coat. His hair is wild and messy in loose curls after having it braided for most of the day.
While Augustine might look a tad worn out, he certainly seems to be in good spirits.]
Full of change that no one sees! [He hums while taking off his shoes by the door. Be damned if he's tracking any dirt into this apartment. He just cleaned this place the other day.] Clock makes a fool of history~
[Next, Augustine sheds his coat and hangs it neatly within the closet in the foyer.]
Yesterday's so long ago, don't agree with what I know. Tomorrow got no place to be..
[He hums the word "Evolution" a few times before coming to an abrupt halt once he spots Eliot in the living room.]
Ah, Eliot! There you are. I was wondering if you was home.
Re: action
Eliot'sroom and resting when she heard a door jingle in the distance. She knew the boy hadn't left, so was he expecting company? Then she heard a familiar voice singing...and couldn't stop being amused as she got off the bed and towards the bedroom door to look out. As for how she was dress, Rip's suite jacket and tie were missing and the first three buttons of her pale blue dress shirt were unbuttoned. Beyond that, she was bare foot and her hair was in a loose braid. In other words, Rip definitely made herself at home.
For now anyway. Who knew how long she'd stick around. For now, she'd hang back and observe...for a few moments anyway.]

[Eliot walks over to help Augustine with his coat and locking the door behind him. Glad to see his roommate again, he almost forgot the stress of Rip being there. He's been cleaning blood out of their tea cups from earlier and overthinking all of the things Rip suggested he do.
The signs of his moving out of his room are quite apparent. His Pokemon sleep on his newly made couch bed, while his important books are now on a shelf that Eliot once left empty. ]
Did you have a good day? Are you hungry? I was going to make some fruit juice, but I can make a real meal too.

Perhaps this is a normal feeling for roommates? I may just be stressing needlessly, huh?

Oh. Is this having a babysitter? That doesn't sound good either.

Is he much older than you? Maybe he's like a big brother to you or a relative of sorts?

A dog wouldn't be fitting for a roommate, I think. But dogs tend to be happy when they see their masters.

I've never had anyone to live with that wasn't keeping me locked up. This is different from that.
[Only giving the most awkward details of his life.]
no subject
[Oh dear, already making awkward first impressions!]
I meant...that feeling you have. You're just happy to live with someone. I think that's a good thing. I'm saying this, because I'm accomstomed to living in solitude for long periods of time.

You can be friends who live together or you can be two people dating who live together. If you're having sex but aren't dating then I believe the term is friends-with-benefits. [There is another thing to call it but Enis isn't going to be that crude.]
There's a word for pretty much every kind of relationship.
no subject
YIP. Definitely not sex! I don't need that sort of thing, uh! [flustered now,] I think we're friends? I don't know. I'm pretty troublesome to live with.
no subject
Are you? Then be friends. You get to define the relationship Eliot. Whatever it is, it's up to you and you can call it whatever you want. [Which is the point of what she'd said though now she feels a little bad for freaking him out.]

[Eliot may recognize Rose as the Professor's backup bassist, and front-row fangirl in all his classes.]
My Mum's like that. Even when I took off traveling, she was always inviting in strays. People, not dogs or cats.
no subject
[Eliot does recognize her! And he considers asking her more about that, but parents intrigue him.]
Is that normal for parents? For humans?
