Woah sorry. Didn't mean to offend. [She put her hands up in defense, and bit her tongue at the "older than you" remark. Well, different creatures could live longer she supposed. Curious, she tilted her head.]

[Oh that's cute. She's about 1000 (968 to be accurate). It did put her on guard however. Vampires from her world weren't exactly the good guys.]

I'm a droid, a KX series made for security. But here I work as one of Attleton's deputies, among other jobs.

[Her eyes widen and her grin is wide, showing a fang- but it's totally normal, right? Right.]

A droid? So cool. Nice to meet you K2SO!

[She put a finger to her chin.]

Right... I need to get a job. You're a deputy? Like, as in a cop?

[Considering what passes as 'normal' here...the fangs are not so strange.]

Likewise, miss....? [He hasn't gotten a name.]

Yes...and no. Deputies aren't cops per se but sometimes we have similar duties.

Kailah! Sorry. Kailah Majessta. Huh... how much does it pay? I need to get a job apparently.

And I'm afraid that all the Deputies' slots are covered now but if you are looking for a job, you will find a lot of offers on the Employment buildings. It's in Genessia city. Do you know what you'd lie to do for a living?

I just haven't had good experience with other vamps. I don't know why but you really seem like someone I might be able to trust. So... what are the laws here when it comes to... sustaining yourself?

As for laws? It seems Everglade has a hunting policy... But personally, I think bloodbanks are the best option. I know some humans here are trying to come up with a safe way to help us.

I'm Guardian of Attleton, I'm biased. But it's a good place to live. The apartments are nice, the rent is cheap, it's a calm and peaceful town and the locals are welcoming, once they get to know you.

Attleton. A guardian? Like... do you use a sword and shield to keep people out of your city? [She was joking, but only slightly serious... there were future things, so what if there were past things too?]

That actually... sounds nice. I heard someone else mention Nova City too, but to be honest, I'd like a place that is a little more normal and homey.

[ He blinks a little at her. ]

...no? No swords and shields, no. I mean, yes, in Fayren, but here we don't do that. The standard equipment actually involves handguns, and if necessary riot gear.

Nova City is nice, if you like high-tech megacities. We decided on something quieter and more affordable. If you're looking for homey you should fit right in here. Attleton's a close-knit community, you will have plenty of support settling in.

Yeah the world here is like super advanced... Well Nova City is. that's where I live as it reminds me a little bit of home.

Yeah, I see each city here as a genre you might find in a book or movie. Everglade is your horror trope. Fayren is fantasy.
