[Where? Just where was sure? One moment, she was in Serenes, next to her father, trying to guide their people into healing all of their own wounds. The hidden scars the wars and years have left on them. The hologram message, everything didn't make sense. She idly glances down at an worn pendent made of a phoenix feather. The one gift she swore to never lose. Her beloved gave it to her.

The sound of surf and sand can be heard before a much softer sound, then the sound of someone falling into the sand. There was a silence for a few moments before a soft song is transmitted through the communicators. The voice singing in a warm, gentle and loving tone.]

[The verse is sung again before she goes to just hum for a few moments and then the smartphone was pressed off.]

[Leanne blinks as she hears a voice calling her, she goes to look towards the smartphone and tilts her head.]

[Little sister? Who was this and why is he calling her that? He can see the sight of scars on her face and neck as she cradles something close to herself. Why did his whistles sound a lot like Ikki's?]

[He's kind of debating between trying to see if he can watch or hear past messages from the Ace that is here, or from Marco himself to understand the man better, when the notification of a new general message comes up. He clicks on it with full intention of closing it right away, but the moment he hears the voice all that goes through the window.

It's all a bad, terrible joke and he knows it. He tries to bend the multiverse, Marco tries to pull at strings of fate and every comes crashing down in a big pile of fire. Ikki's in a world where Ace never met him, where Seiya and Dohko are, where he doesn't know Marco... And now Leanne is here. And he knows deep down that she won't remember him. She won't know him.

And maybe that should be good, she would have a chance to find another love. Another life away from his fire. Maybe. But he's still hurt and angry and greedy. And he wants to be with her again. So he throws his doubts away and instead tracks down her Cosmo, the same as always, maybe a bit stronger even, and arrives to where she is. He expects to find her alone, but instead finds her with something between her arms, a dying animal as he quickly notices the small fading Cosmo. He steps closer before he can think of it, his Cosmo expanding to envelop her and the creature with warmth.]

[His voice isn't that of a beautiful heron, but his singing isn't horrendous, he knows that much. And it's all he dares to do right now, when he is sure she won't know him and she's trying to send off an animal with love.]

[Leanne at first didn't notice Ikki as she was focused on the animal, her wings move to drape over it. It wasn't until she felt his Cosmo was when she notices him. Then he joins in and she couldn't help but to let some tears fall.]

He doesn't cry, he's not as sensible as she is, and while he feels for the creature most of his pain is for what she's feeling. She may not be the one who loved him, but he can still sense how she feels somehow.

He moves closer, wrapping her and her bundle in his arms, holding them securely. He would love to kiss her tears away, to nuzzle her hair... But that would be too much, he must remind himself that this woman doesn't know him and even just this hug is probably scandalous. But he has no other way to comfort her at the moment.]

It was grateful. You made it feel loved and not alone.

[It was evening when he's done training for today, so he's taking a rest. He heard the post from earlier before, but he was too busy. So he left a message to her.]

While it was almost a week since he was here, a week is too long and too many, and he's too far away in another world from her, and he realized he has to learn how to bear it. But for how long?

[It was a song Krista at least recognized at home. She hadn't heard it in a really long time however, having it only be sung to her when she was a really tiny baby up to when she was a toddler. Then her mother stopped and she never really understood why.

Oh well, that was the past, now was the present and someone else was singing that song. It was light, gentle. It was sort of sweet really to listen to.]
