[Video, no name attached oops, cw: body horror]

[(Playing in the background the whole time.) Well, there's a moment of some kind of color flitting around before the screen is stabilizing on what seems to be a large stage with a large and colorful raffle wheel with a few different symbols on it with two large lights focused on it. On the walls are various color changing light panels and what appears to be some poor man lying on his back in front of the wheel, he's breathing but it seems shallow.

A small giggle is heard from behind the camera before it moves to inspect the man, who is very clearly missing an eye though there's oddly nothing to show it was pulled out, just an empty spot of slightly indented skin there as if he was born without that ever forming. There's also an arm and a foot missing with the same odd features as well.

Once again there's a sound, though it's a voice. Very clearly modulated via a machine or magic to switch pitches between low and high, though clearly feminine if nothing else.]

Goodness! It's been a while since I've had anyone play along like this, it's been rather fun! Don't you think, darling?~

[The man merely groans and utters something under his breath which can't be anything good, a black smoke coming from his lips and heading for the ceiling for those that can see magic or supernatural things.]

Oh come on now, I don't think it was that bad. You didn't even spin a skull, that's better than what I've seen! And you've come so far now, if you keep going for another round or two you'll be free and I know that's what you want.

[But the camera is moving again and is floating given it's moving up and down just barely to show the person who's been spoken, or... less person and more of a skeleton with red eyes (or something to that type) that is clad in a clearly worn and frayed black cloak that is pulled over the head.]

Don't you think so, friends? Mind you this one here, weeeeell, he's not a good person. And just throwing them in jail wouldn't do anyone any good but here he'll be of use and learn his lesson, hopefully! Which, speaking of, I wonder how many of you will try and find me to free this "poor idiot man". [Those are absolutely her using air quotes] from such a thing? I'm doing nothing illegal here, darlings, I have all my paperwork and promises in order, after all!

I wonder what he'll roll next~ [With that she's switching the video feed off with another giggle.]

(Predictably Lydia is in Wonderland which is in the Everglade forest. Feel free to try and find her or contact me if you want your character to try since she has a few traps in the forest and on the building to actually find it, after all.)

Is that so?

[ Mere polite interest now. ]

That's a widespread opinion these days.

[ His brows knit together at the display on the wheel. It's disgusting, he would best like to have his Deputies out there already, hunting down this criminal. For that's what she is, just another criminal which needs to be locked up.

But they have absolutely nothing to go on, not with Attleton's team having limited access to magic and supernatural powers. No location spells or anything of the sorts. What he can do is keep her talking and hopefully learn something useful. ]

Well, see, the interesting thing about your claim is that it can be proven, if a Guardian steps forward, but it can't be disproven as no Guardian would have an interest in stepping forward. But you said you have paperwork, so it's all fine, right?

[ A slight frown shows at the sight of her turning to focus on her victim again - he's short of ending the call and spending his time on the hunt instead. But then she turns back to him and he schools his face back into a neutral, politely interested mask.

This is still a fairly new task. Normally, when it's his job to make nice though he feels sick to the stomach he isn't trying to save lives, he is biding his time for the kill. He would be lying if he said he didn't want the kill now. But it's no use when it doesn't stick. ]

I could tell you that you're a criminal yourself. That sooner or later, you will be found. You will be punished. But you're not throwing anyone under the bus. I respect that.

[ The new display of magic is noted and filed away, though he doesn't show his disquiet at it - just as much disquiet as he feels at the mention of cheating death in her own world. All it gets out of him is an arched eyebrow, though. ]

Cheating death may give you an advantage at home but it's nothing extraordinary here. You aren't the only one who has died before. [ He lets a heartbeat pass. ] Nor am I going to be wounded by being told I'm boring.

[ That much is just the truth. Nobody's ever accused him of being a fun machine, even his most kindly inclined friends think he's a stick in the mud. ]
