[Video, no name attached oops, cw: body horror]
[(Playing in the background the whole time.) Well, there's a moment of some kind of color flitting around before the screen is stabilizing on what seems to be a large stage with a large and colorful raffle wheel with a few different symbols on it with two large lights focused on it. On the walls are various color changing light panels and what appears to be some poor man lying on his back in front of the wheel, he's breathing but it seems shallow.
A small giggle is heard from behind the camera before it moves to inspect the man, who is very clearly missing an eye though there's oddly nothing to show it was pulled out, just an empty spot of slightly indented skin there as if he was born without that ever forming. There's also an arm and a foot missing with the same odd features as well.
Once again there's a sound, though it's a voice. Very clearly modulated via a machine or magic to switch pitches between low and high, though clearly feminine if nothing else.]
Goodness! It's been a while since I've had anyone play along like this, it's been rather fun! Don't you think, darling?~
[The man merely groans and utters something under his breath which can't be anything good, a black smoke coming from his lips and heading for the ceiling for those that can see magic or supernatural things.]
Oh come on now, I don't think it was that bad. You didn't even spin a skull, that's better than what I've seen! And you've come so far now, if you keep going for another round or two you'll be free and I know that's what you want.
[But the camera is moving again and is floating given it's moving up and down just barely to show the person who's been spoken, or... less person and more of a skeleton with red eyes (or something to that type) that is clad in a clearly worn and frayed black cloak that is pulled over the head.]
Don't you think so, friends? Mind you this one here, weeeeell, he's not a good person. And just throwing them in jail wouldn't do anyone any good but here he'll be of use and learn his lesson, hopefully! Which, speaking of, I wonder how many of you will try and find me to free this "poor idiot man". [Those are absolutely her using air quotes] from such a thing? I'm doing nothing illegal here, darlings, I have all my paperwork and promises in order, after all!
I wonder what he'll roll next~ [With that she's switching the video feed off with another giggle.]
(Predictably Lydia is in Wonderland which is in the Everglade forest. Feel free to try and find her or contact me if you want your character to try since she has a few traps in the forest and on the building to actually find it, after all.)

[She's still not entirely sure how to react, but this man's expression at least seems somewhat negative. It's different. But is it correct?]
How are criminals typically punished when they're caught?
Re: private threadjack video
[ He hesitates for a moment. Because it is possible that she has been given permission by a Guardian, he's not willing to rule that out after recent events. But admitting to such... It would only frighten and disturb the public, and further reduce the trust in Guardians. ]
She is merely another criminal and will be treated as such. It is perfectly common for criminals to pretend, or even believe, they are acting to enforce justice.

Who's going to do the arresting, then? It doesn't seem like anyone is all that invested in that man's life.

[She'd like to see that. Not enough to risk her own neck, of course, she doesn't have any abilities or powers to deal with something like this. But it's a little exciting, isn't it?]
Are you a policeman?
Re: private threadjack video
[ [ Aeslyn's might actually not be working yet, she was only just recruiting, but he's sure there are others. And with five cities full of law enforcement they shouldn't need to rely on vigilantes anyway. ] ]
I'm Guardian of Attleton. [ His lips twist in scorn. ] Which makes me one of a handful of people who could have given her permission. I'll admit, it's a new one for torture and almost-murder. Normally we only get that for theft.

[She shrugs her slim shoulders.]
I'm Mira.

[ Sorry, Mira, it's been a day, he's a little frazzled. ]

[And here she is chatting amicably while a man is being brutalized on the other end, doot de doo...]
If I remember right, you won by a sizable margin. You must be very popular.

[ Unfortunately, there is a man still being tortured, even if this conversation is far more pleasant than dealing with the other mess. ]
As pleasant as this chat is, can we postpone it? We still have a situation to deal with...

Good luck.
