[Video, no name attached oops, cw: body horror]
[(Playing in the background the whole time.) Well, there's a moment of some kind of color flitting around before the screen is stabilizing on what seems to be a large stage with a large and colorful raffle wheel with a few different symbols on it with two large lights focused on it. On the walls are various color changing light panels and what appears to be some poor man lying on his back in front of the wheel, he's breathing but it seems shallow.
A small giggle is heard from behind the camera before it moves to inspect the man, who is very clearly missing an eye though there's oddly nothing to show it was pulled out, just an empty spot of slightly indented skin there as if he was born without that ever forming. There's also an arm and a foot missing with the same odd features as well.
Once again there's a sound, though it's a voice. Very clearly modulated via a machine or magic to switch pitches between low and high, though clearly feminine if nothing else.]
Goodness! It's been a while since I've had anyone play along like this, it's been rather fun! Don't you think, darling?~
[The man merely groans and utters something under his breath which can't be anything good, a black smoke coming from his lips and heading for the ceiling for those that can see magic or supernatural things.]
Oh come on now, I don't think it was that bad. You didn't even spin a skull, that's better than what I've seen! And you've come so far now, if you keep going for another round or two you'll be free and I know that's what you want.
[But the camera is moving again and is floating given it's moving up and down just barely to show the person who's been spoken, or... less person and more of a skeleton with red eyes (or something to that type) that is clad in a clearly worn and frayed black cloak that is pulled over the head.]
Don't you think so, friends? Mind you this one here, weeeeell, he's not a good person. And just throwing them in jail wouldn't do anyone any good but here he'll be of use and learn his lesson, hopefully! Which, speaking of, I wonder how many of you will try and find me to free this "poor idiot man". [Those are absolutely her using air quotes] from such a thing? I'm doing nothing illegal here, darlings, I have all my paperwork and promises in order, after all!
I wonder what he'll roll next~ [With that she's switching the video feed off with another giggle.]
(Predictably Lydia is in Wonderland which is in the Everglade forest. Feel free to try and find her or contact me if you want your character to try since she has a few traps in the forest and on the building to actually find it, after all.)

Video -> Action
[The screen glows golden and then black. Seth's teleportation isn't perfect but he arrives in the same room as the tortured man and the creature that's taken upon himself to broadcast something this sick.]
That was your warning.
[There is a moments pause before a golden light twists in Seth's palms, reaching out to wrap around Lydia.
[Action]
But she's going to at least throw her voice a bit to make it sound and seem like it's coming from this illusion construct of herself.]
I stand corrected, darling. What now?~
[Action]
This man goes to the hospital and then jail and you are detained for your crimes.
[There is no real order to that.]
[Action]
How unfair!
[Lydia's using this time to get her story together and how to pull this off. It ought to be easy enough, in her mind. Which is why there's the sound of a door opening and closing from somewhere in the shadows and she's just moving into sight in her fleshy looking form along with a man (her Zoroark in disguise of course) that seems almost identical except with a shorter haircut and male features next to her.
She's blinking slowly at the sight, looking between the struggling construct, Seth, and the man before speaking properly.]
... What's going on here? [Maybe speaking without the voice modulating spell might help her.]
[Action]
Whoever this person is, they aren't completely clean though he's going to be polite about it.]
I'm apprehending someone who has tortured a man over the network. You will have to come with me as well because I'm sure you know that. So either be honest or you'll find yourself in a jail cell as well. [Though who knows for how long. Seth will take time to get it sorted out. He's already at his wits end with all the other shit going on in Everglade. He has no patience for liars.
His magic net tightens a little bit more, putting pressure on the construct. It won't do anything to a living person but it will slowly start to cut into magic like the thin strands of gold are made of acid.]
[Action]
No, we have no idea how this came to pass. We use this building for our gameshows and that is our wheel but those certainly aren't the symbols we put on it. If anything, this person managed to get in here with this man while we were out. We don't live here, after all. But feel free to do as you wish here, we aren't going to stop you. [Lydia, please.]
[Though her story is going to fall apart the moment those strands of gold are cutting through the weakened illusion that's disappearing the moment it's compromised.]
... Well fuck.
[Action]
[Seth glances over at the illusion as it vanishes. She's a good liar but still a liar. He releases his magic and focuses his attention on Lydia to make sure that she isn't able to escape.
The man on the wheel isn't going anywhere so he isn't too worried about him right now. He's alive and that counts for something.]
How about you be honest with me? It'll make this easier for both of us.
[Action]
Ed, darling, drop it. [And the moment she says that that man at her side is... a Zoroark, go fucking figure.]
Yeah, yeah. Look, when I said I wasn't going to kill him, I meant it. Killing people isn't my style, I keep my sanity by taking the emotions of others, suffering being the strongest of them. I've already gone over this once with someone else and her and I had come to an agreement to only use people who weren't innocents and that man very much is not one of them. All of the limbs removed from him have felt painful, sure, but otherwise are numb now outside of phantom pain of them still being there.
I know Everglade is all about finding alternatively methods and such for feeding but this isn't really something there's an alternative for.
[Action]
[Which is really Seth's only issue here but he's not going to let people know that. Not being human gives him a very skewed perspective on human life. Video taping it, however, is completely unnecessary and he knows that there were children watching. Seth is very protective of children.]
You should be fed enough now. Come with me and we'll sort this out. [He needs to get this man to a hospital and also figure out what the hell his crimes were.]
We can talk more at the station.
[Action]
Not like I have much of a choice in the matter, now do I?
[Action]
Golden light reappears in Seth's palms creating something that looks like hand cuffs. She'll find that these are handcuffs that will momentarily keep her magic to herself. It's a technique that he's been perfecting but it takes more energy than Seth cares to admit.]
They're going to ask you questions down at the station. I suggest that you be mindful of how you answer them. [He has an idea of who put her up to this.] And if I were you, I'd stop granting favors that could get you in trouble.
[Action]
Not that it's stopping her from scoffing a little.]
I've already died twice, what do I care about getting into trouble anymore? But fine, let's just get this over with.
[Action]
[He points out in a tone that suggests that its just a fact.]
Living is usually harder to do.
Come on. Let's go. [Seth picks up the injured man and tosses him over his shoulder. He isn't doubting that this is uncomfortable but he needs a free hand for Lydia.] We'll walking there. [Because he can't teleport other people and he's sure that the police are close anyway.]
[Action]
[Details, though. Either way, she's at least seeming calm enough to just kind of follow despite how badly she's sure this is going to end for her. Not like they can keep her locked away forever or something, right? That'd be absolutely ridiculous and it's not like she killed anyone after all.
Of course her definition of walking is more floating, though that's par for the course with liches.]
