Good day to you all! My name is All Might, a hero from another land.

In troubling times like these, I would like to formally extend a thank you for your hard work. Also, if you have witnessed before, I am capable of many feats of power and strength, and I spend my spare time doing charity and community work.

Thus being said, I am asking you all, collectively, to operate in your cities to continue to do what I have been doing; aiding the needy with their tasks. It can be as mundane as working the traffic to helping children get home safely.

Do not worry about my well being, I have a team looking after me. All I ask is your leave in order to operate freely as a professional community service worker who stops crimes.

A top tier superhero, one that can move mountains and change the weather if need be with a single punch! Back home I am known as the Number One Hero, the Symbol of Peace.

And who might you by young man?

[He smiles, slightly in awe.]

Oh I'm Peter. Parker. Hi.

Yes of course, though it's a profession back home than it is here. Here, I do a lot of community service.

Well met Mr. Parker!

You get paid to be a superhero at home?

[He arches an eyebrow. Why would he?]

Yes, you see, my world is a superhuman society. About 80% of the people on the planet has a power of some sort, some small, some powerful. Heroes are working with the government to keep the peace, and we get paid for our efforts.

Though the same qualities of a hero haven't changed. Heroes need to be selfless, and strong of heart.

[If you get paid, it's not being selfless. Not if it's for your own gain.]

I don't know, if everyone has those powers, then aren't you just normal?

[He's just musing aloud.]

I don't think it's selfless if you get paid to do it. That's just a job.

[Yes, but there's also the heroes who started out small and grew up without relying on the payment.]

Depends. Some scientists believe it'll become the norm with over 90% in a couple of generations.

That depends on the hero. Some have motivations to get a good agency and better pay. Others rely on the goodwill of the people.

What I look for, is the selfless actions. The stories of heroes whose feet move before their minds do when someone is in trouble. Those who stand above the crowd and fight in what they believe in, not because of money or pay, but because they are truly strong of heart.

That's the kind of hero I foster, and it's how I began my own journey. Nowadays, I teach younger heroes for different goals and dreams. Certainly money might be a factor for some, but for others, the chance to do good shines through. You don't get accepted into Yuuhi High School without a clear goal in your heart.

How did people get these powers?

[He's curious about the science behind it, were they all genetic mutations?]

There's a super hero high school? That must be more interesting than regular high school.

[School is so boring, being a hero is so much more fun.]

Four generations ago, in Quinquig City in China, a baby was born glowing with shining light. Since then, people began developing powers all on it's own. Some base it down to genetic mutation, and eventually had become so widespread, the "career" as they put it, of Super Hero inspired by Comic Books emerged after a generation of chaos, where those with powers began abusing them for their own gains.

Yes, Yuuhi High School is the country's top high school for superheroes. Not only we teach mundane courses such as math and sciences, but we also have hero training, quirk development and exercise, field work, search and rescue, technology specialists and many other courses.

The goal is to teach our students how to use their powers responsibly for the years ahead. There are four major courses: Business, General Studies, Hero and Support. Not every Quirk is suited for combat, but some Quirks excel in technology support, business and general studies work who can graduate to the Hero Course.

I get that, I like comic books myself.

[He grins, he really does enjoy them.] Seems weird, but all super hero stories are weird.

[He perks up.] Oh, a guy in the chair! [He knows a guy.]

I've read a lot of comic books.

I think you'd like Yuuhi High, if only to visit. It isn't impossible to get into the course without a Quirk, although the chance is very low. Where I come from, building your own superpower isn't heard of, since we're reliant on the abilities each hero has normally.

Comic Books are a great source of inspiration. I remember designing several suits before deciding on the one I wear currently. The old one had a cape.

Wow, a super hero high school would be cool to visit. [If not attend, really, but that's not how his world works.]

I can't think of anyone with a cape...[He thinks.]

I mean, at home in New York, the Avengers are there. Do you know them? They're so cool!

I wouldn't think a cape would help that much though, isn't it too easily caught on stuff?

The cape was good for aerodynamics. I can leap several stories into the air and soar across the sky for a limited amount of time before landing. And it helps with the movement.

As for New York, my world doesn't have who you call the Avengers, but I'm sure there's a equivalent group there that could very well be similar to them.

You're still just gliding. Wings like flying squirrels would work better.

[Not that he knows from personal experience.]

I guess if everyone's a super hero. What a strange idea. And no one knew why? No biochemists?

It might actually. I'll have to redesign the suit though.

There's biochemists and other professions, but to this date, we've never actually cracked the code on how Quirks can be built or manufactured.

[At least not till the saga after his retirement.]

A co-worker of mine known as Eraserhead, can temporary shut off Quirks until he blinks again. His Quirk turns off other Quirks for a temporary time, but he gets horrible dry eye from it.

Well it's hard to replicate something when you don't know what's causing it in the first place. The human genetic code is extremely difficult to map.

[Help, he's a science nerd.]

That seems like a strange, but useful power if you want to be a criminal. Not that he is.

That's true. The furthest we've gotten is that a joint in the smallest toe is prominent when someone is born Quirkless, and isn't when there is a Quirk. It's completely random if you will be born with one or not.

Aizawa has a upstanding moral code, and has even gotten hurt protecting the students. I owe him many thank yous for doing it when I wasn't able to attend the class which turned sour.

It's interesting, and it evolved so quickly? Huh.

[He thinks there must be some other influence, he just doesn't know what it is.]

It's good that he does, really.

That's right. We've got some minimal understanding of it, but science has progressed several times in the past. I'm sure it will again.

Yes, there's many heroes who have strong Quirks and don't misuse them. It's a wonderful progress.

I think most people wouldn't. Most people are good.

[He still believes that above all else.]

[All Might laughed gaily, with his trademark wide smile growing bigger.]

You've got that right Mr. Parker. I think good is the inherent trait of all mankind when they can look forward to the zest and zeal for life.
