[it's just because it's White Day... that's all... She's pretty good with everything or has been but now that things have worn off...]

What do you do when you're homesick? [not that she is... not really] Does... anyone ever go home just by wishing? Do you know if anyone misses you? Or worry about how much school you're missing? [and she doesn't even really like school but she's not dumb and she doesn't want to be held back or miss her chance at Jonan. Mama would be really mad. She sighs and hugs her pillow]

[for talking to her... or anything really. For those in the rooms above the shop, Miaka is tucked up in her borrowed bed, hugging a pillow and feeling very out of place. The door is cracked open a little so she can be seen and it's obvious...well...that she's not entirely happy]

If I think too hard, then yeah... I miss my friends, and I don't like being derailed from finding my little sister.

When I start missing her, I just try to tell myself... "She's worth fighting for," and then work a bit harder.

It's complicated... We were separated a few years ago. I used a lot of magic and was punished by losing my most important thing, so she lost her memories of me.

But I'm sure she would want me to find her again and make new memories, so...

That's so sad. I'm sorry. And yeah! Definitely! I hope you can find one another and make lots and lots of new memories! In fact, I'm sure of it. I'll hope as hard as I can for you!

Jonan Academy? What kind of school is that?

It's a really hard school and you have to be super smart to even get into it. Or pass the entrance exams which are really hard. But I've got this. [though she wishes she had it a little more]

I still have to go to school here because Smoker-san says so. It's not so bad but it's so boring. The problem is it's not helping me at all with Jonan...

[Chiaki usually would be playing a video game while talking to most people but this didn't seem like the right time to do that, not on a subject like this.]

Not because they don't care but people say time is frozen while you are here. [She looked off to the side if only for a moment.]

But I do what I always do when homesick. Play video games... but that is my answer to most things.

Any and all. I have gotten better at dealing with Dating Sims style games as before those were confusing.

But my favorite is one that I had back home, but... It doesn't exist here.

Dating Sims...? I don't think I've ever played those. What's the one you had back home about? Maybe you can... see if someone can make it? [she doesn't actually know how that works but...]

It was kind of like a space shooter kind of game, but even if I asked for someone to make it, it might not have the same magic as the original.

[ Rather than responding to her post, Adela can't help feeling like this is a conversation that needs to be had in person. So she'll prepare a snack and some tea for the two of them, holding them on a tray as she goes to Miaka's room and knocks on the door. ]

It is Adela, Miaka. May I come in?

[there's a bunch of shifting sounds and then:] Come in.

[she's sitting on the bed and smiling, hugging the pillow. Don't mind her red eyes or tissues hidden under the pillow]

[ It's not that hard to tell that the other has just been crying. Adela kind of wants to sigh at that, but instead she comes into the room and seats herself on the bed next to Miaka, resting the tray in her lap for the moment. ]

I thought you might like something to drink.

[ It's all she can think of to start with, but Adela also knows she can't take too long getting to the real heart of what's bothering Miaka. For now, however, she'll give the other a chance to decide if she wants to approach it first or not. ]

Thanks. [she takes a cracker and puts some of the cheese on it and a little bit of ham and makes herself a little sandwich]

It's not quite clear why some leave the world, or even where they really leave to. Home's the assumption.

[His assumptions are kinda bleak, so let's not k.]

Ah, no; another assumption is that your world is proceeding, if it's going at all, as if you'd never left. No worries there; and if there were the worries wouldn't work anything anyway.

Ahah, I definitely don't miss the school! Can't quite see the point of those, really. We've got libraries now. What could the institution provide, except good company?

School is super important! If you don't get into a good school your whole life could be ruined! And everyone will be disappointed! That's why you have to apply yourself and study hard and stop slacking off reading manga or you'll end up working for Macudo for the rest of your life.

... [she sighs]

At least that's what Mama says. I'm glad time has stopped though. She'd get really mad that I ended up here and am not really studying for the exams. I can't if I don't have the material right? [right?]

Well, that depends on what's on them, doesn't it? As far as I know the library still has all the amenities. I haven't wanted for material thus far.
