Bounty hunting + vigilante PSA from Attleton - text
[ What is this, a second message from the Attleton Guardian's office within a week? Once again it's published on the network, as well as being read on the radio and local TV. ]
Due to recent circumstances, the Attleton Guardian's office reminds you:
Capital punishment and torture are outlawed in Attleton, this is not to be circumvented through the bounty system.
Bounties are to be delivered alive only, unharmed beyond injuries incurred resisting arrest. If the bounty is killed in self-defense it is the hunter's responsibility to prove it beyond reasonable doubt.
Both bounty hunters and vigilantes will be held to Attleton laws. All acts of apprehending suspects are to be done with minimal damage to yourself, the suspect and property.
Suspects must be brought to the Guardian's office. Any attempt to exact personal punishment will be treated as a crime.
If attempts are made to circumvent the laws by bringing in bounties barely alive, be aware it will lead to further tightening of the regulations.
OOC: Basically this means Attleton will be copying Nova re. ingame consequences, though there is no bounty license system.
If Cassian responds to comments on this at all it is likely to be curt, but characters are welcome to use this post to talk among themselves.

Warning people to "stay out of your way" is dangerously close to a threat. I wouldn't take any chances with it either, especially since I'm accustomed to eliminating anything that poses a threat.
Who got mad, exactly? The kidnappers? It seems there's always going to be someone who's not happy with the way the Guardians do things. Case in point, you not being happy with Cassian's "passive aggressive" ways. It's just something we'll all have to deal with.
Don't ever try to eliminate threats, mate. You'll turn the whole world against you and create more threats where none need existed before. Save annihilation for the worst offenses, eh?
No, people like Cassian. And aye, exactly my point! So if he can't deal with the heat, he should get out of the summer islands.
[And in his own world too. No wonder the Beastclans hate him so much.]
On the contrary, Cassian can deal with the heat a lot better than some other people I know. So I'll let him work out his differences with Grell and the co-Guardians of Everglade.
And now that you're no longer a deputy, you can kindly step aside.
A luxury Andor can't yet afford, eh?
[Dry ice tone right there.]
Then since you went through all that trouble to get Grell back, the least you could do is support her instead of antagonizing Cassian.
I would hope that you wouldn't need me to tell you that if Grell is that important to you.
Like I said.
Grell was keeping the nightmares at bay. Now the idiots have gone and opened the floodgates, and oh! What a surprise! They hate it. Well, no shit. This is the consequence of disrupting status quo for the sake of what? Change? Tch.
Next, you could run off with Grell and help her recover from the ordeal.
[He means well with that suggestion, honest.]
[Not that Grell was very forthcoming with details of her ordeal or how she's recovering, but whatever.]
This game is over. It's time to move along.
...In other words, fuck off!
[That last bit almost comes out as a roar before he abruptly ends the feed. Thanks for teaching him that phrase, Marco.]
