4th Shot [Video]

[Rip tilts her phone towards her from arms length. It's resting on a table and it seems a certain huntress is sitting outside on a balcony somewhere in Genessia City. The night is a beautiful one as far as she's concerned so why bother staying inside? She was studying her phone as she toyed with a chain around her neck with a sapphire looking charm on it. The charm matched a steel bracelet she was wearing with a similar glass bauble set into it.

She leaned forward, not caring if anyone saw down her dress shirt with its first four buttons undone. Rip was relaxed right now...and she had a few questions.]

I've been thinking about getting a job to ease my restlessness. But the problem is, what is out there that I would be good at.

[She shifts a little and there's a note pad at her elbow with a list of things on it. Job's she's had in the past....Among the list are 'Butcher', 'Gun seller', 'Hunter', 'Leather shop owner', 'bondage gear and leather working', 'Sniper', 'Military officer' and as a joke 'Hellsing Pest'.  She glances towards the list and moves it more into view as she looks it over.  Also on the list were a few things she would like to do.  Such as, sing and open her own leather shop again. She liked doing both of those and admittedly missed her old shop.]

I've been so many things over my long life that it's hard to pin down what I should do next. 

[What people should question is what didn't make it on that list. Rip is keeping to the legal side of things, for now. ]

If there's any suggestions, I'd love to hear them~. Don't be shy, I won't bite unless you like it.

Perhaps. However, Rip hasn't quite made it over to Castlevania for a visit, though she probably should at some point soon just to meet everyone that lives there. As for her questioning what 'butcher' might mean, Rip just smiles.

Murderous minds do think alike, though, Rip DID have the experience to back up butchering animals along with humans. She was a huntress and she was more than happy to hunt anything that bleeds. "Butcher can mean many zhings of course~. However, I doubt zhe bounty board vould be thrilled vith my brand of violence vhen it comes to hunting humans. Zo, it may be best to avoid zhat particular job just to avoid future incidents."

Even though she was saying that, she was pouting. Trust her, she had thought of the possibility before disregarding it. "I hardly doubt a normal job vould suit me. I'd get bored to easily vith zhe monotony. But, if I vere to take my whims into account, zhen vatever I go for vould haf to have some hint of violence in it...or at least singing."

Sakuya was smiling now too. She shared some of this experience. She was a very skilled cook, after all. "And are you sure? You would be surprised the brutality you could get away with on the bounty board... My Mistress, Lady Remilia Scarlet, takes bounties from time to time. And even if you must be more delicate with the target, some friendly competition is always exciting, no?" Rip seemed like someone who could carry herself well in a fight. Though, truthfully, Sakuya had no idea how she'd fare against a vampire of Remilia's caliber.

As for something else to do... Well, Sakuya wasn't entirely sure. "Perhaps Fayren might have something too. Hunting animals for food is common there. As well as putting down or relocating beasts the are causing trouble." A pause, her eyebrows raising subtly. "Although, if you're interested in singing, I do have a friend who might be able to help you. Her name is Sonico. And she puts on semi-regular concerts here in Genessia. I could introduce you."

"Zometimes, I completely agree~. But, I can be very competitive und I am trying not to...destroy everyzhing around me." Despite how much she wishes she could. It's an old fight and a narrow line she walks between living and falling to her bloodlust to the point people kill her. It's...an old cycle she's trying hard to break.

"Hunting animals vould be a better outlet I zhink." It was something she had been doing in one of the old places she lived after all. A nice little outlet that most people didn't complain about. However, mentioning that she could be introduced to someone connected to the music scene really does catch her attention.

"I zhink I vould like zhat. Singing is one of my least dangerous hobbies." Sort of. She DID tend to sing in battle...
