[ Hera feels, for lack of a better term, detached from everything that's going on around her. It's not really her fault, given all she's been through lately. It might be for the best, though, because at least she's not panicking. No, in general she's feeling mostly numb. So she seemingly takes her arrival, and the infodump provided, in stride, and before she knows it, she's wandering the streets of this strange city that seems to be nowhere near Lothal or any other place she's familiar with in the galaxy.
She's stuck. Grounded. And people are staring at her like - like she's some kind of freak. Have none of them ever seen a Twi'lek before? ]
What are you looking at?
[ Her voice isn't defensive, it's mostly - dull. But there's an underlying hardness, as well. A certain amount of suspicion, like she doesn't trust anyone here.
Eventually, she finds her way to a series of shops and small cafes, and when she gets a whiff of something - baking bread or a pastry of some sort - she makes a nauseated face and turns away from the smell, her brow furrowing a little. There must be somewhere to sit down, right? Maybe she just needs to sit down. ]

I need the services of a medical doctor familiar with non-human biology. I'll come to you.

Hera Syndulla. Species: Twi'lek. Gender: Female. Age: 30 galactic standard years.
Re: [Text]
[And with that, Baymax is at the door.]
[Text] --> [Action]
[ Since apparently nobody here knows what a Twi'lek is, and she's the only green person she's seen since arriving, that seems like the best way to make sure this Doctor Baymax finds her.
And sure enough, before too long there's a green woman with head-tails walking into the main lobby of the building designated as the hospital, her eyes wary and suspicious as she glances around for this doctor. ]
Re: [Text] --> [Action]
Hello, I am Baymax. You must be Hera. Please, follow me. I will diagnose you in the private room.
[So plush looking!]
i hope baymax is prepared to hug a stranger
Thank you.
[ As they walk, she lets her curiosity get the better of her. ]
Are you a medical droid?
Baymax is always up for hugs
Yes, I am build for medicine. While I am not a "droid" as you may term it, I am familiar with the designation as I am a friend of Kaytoo.
[Once they're inside and everything's private, he tilts his head.]
Preliminary scans show your heart rate is accelerated, and your body is creating high levels of hormones. Your internals seem at normal functionality. However, you seem to be afflicted with a condition. Diagnosis: Pregnancy.
goOD
[ A droid? Maybe from her world? She'll leave that mystery for later, since for now she needs to figure out if arriving here messed her up, or if it's just some sort of delayed reaction to everything that's happened the past few weeks, or -
Her mind reels to a halt at his words, and she gives him a baffled look. Suddenly, her chest feels strangely tight. ]
What?
XD
[Baymax's chest flickered as he showed off preliminary scans of her, easy enough to read despite the English used.]
Your vitals seem to pinpoint to the miracle of childbirth. The elevated hormones plus the gestation within your body seems to suggest that childrearing is in its earliest stages.
Do you require a hug or a lollipop to stabilize your mood?

The empty hollowness that's been with her since that terrible night threatens for a moment to overwhelm her. Did he know? she wonders momentarily. Did he even suspect?
A hot tear slides down her cheek, despite herself, and she glances down, running a hand almost experimentally over her abdomen. ]
I - does it - look okay?
[ It's the logical thing to ask, right? Especially after everything she's been through the past several weeks. ]
I was - um. I was drugged, and tortured - a few weeks ago. And.
[ She wipes the tear away. She'll have to do that later. Not here. Not now. ]
The father was human, so. I don't know what sort of affect that will have.

[he nodded, checking her over some more.] Lingering traces of narcotics have been found. Prescribing a antidote flush based on the composition of the drugs.
If you will, I will continue to monitor your situation. I cannot let you suffer unhealthily in a situation such as this.

[ Twi'leks are biologically pretty close to humans, which is how hybrids are possible at all. But she still can't seem to quite wrap her mind - or her heart - around all of this.
Kanan, we made a baby, some part of her whispers to him, in her mind. Is he here with her, is the Force here? Wherever here even is. She doesn't know. Hera has never felt the Force herself, not really. She believes in it because Kanan did.
Another tear escapes despite her best efforts, and she swipes it away. ]
I'm sorry, this is - a lot to take. I'll do - I'll do whatever you think I need, to keep the baby safe.
no subject
[Baymax offers it to Hera, and if he could smile he would be doing so. Instead he blinks slowly, once, twice and tilts his head.]
It is all right, your emotions will stabilize. We will do a battery of tests to ensure your baby is safe. It is what doctors do best.
no subject
Still, though - what harm could it do? She's been keeping herself isolated from everyone for a while, since Kanan's death, and it hasn't done her any good.
So, a little awkwardly, she accepts the hug. If nothing else, Baymax is built well for them. ]
Thank you. I've - been through a lot recently, that was even before I wound up here.

[And he patted her head as he hugged her. He would be smiling, if he could smile, instead of gives her a blink of acknowledgement.]
I will schedule the usual tests in our medical lab, and an ultrasound so you may see the health of your child.
no subject
Now, she has more important things to occupy her mind. ]
I trust you'll - keep all this confidential? I don't want to sound paranoid but I did just get kidnapped here from my own world, and there might be people here who wish me harm.
no subject
[Baymax blinked once as he added,] I will fill out the forms needed to schedule the tests. For now, you seem to be suffering from morning sickness. You may wish to seek aid, to determine which foods you desire at this point in time. Other symptoms include nausea, and mood swings.
no subject
[ That was one of the things that made her seek medical attention in the first place. She rubs absently at her forehead. ]
Thanks, though. I think I just need to rest for now. Is fatigue one of the symptoms, too? Because I'm feeling it.
[ Of course, how tired she is, is just as likely a result of having recently fought in a big battle and whatnot, but. Details. ]
no subject
[Baymax nodded.] We will ensure the tests are quick, and then I will be back to ensure your health before release.
no subject
[ For the first time, Hera tries for something like an actual smile. ]

[Baymax laid his hand on the computer and accessed the records.]
I believe 313 is open. I have put your name in, and it is a private room.
no subject
Right. 313. Thank you, for all your help.

[Baymax toddled out and fetched a wheelchair.] Please sit. You seem weary, and would quite possibly stumble.
no subject
[ Under literally any other circumstances, Hera would insist on walking herself. She hates needing assistance. She's always been independent. But given the day she's just had, and the information she's just been saddled with - just this once? She decides not to argue, and just sits in the wheelchair. ]
