Okay, so, I've been out looking for jobs and everything after the pageant and all, but, there's not a whole lot that a guy with my talents is good at.

Is there anyone out there that needs a giant monster slain or something? I mean, I'm really good at that. If you want to find me, I'm heading back to the Guild Hall in Fayren.

...And yes, Mavis - I know you're listening - I remembered to turn off my magic so I won't walk through any buildings this time.

[He may wander into a few shops, stumble around awkwardly and then leave, but he's not going to blow anything up. For now.]

Monster extermination is actually fairly commonplace where I'm from, and I've got decades of experience. Hell, I've even come across "the dragon of the apocalypse" twice and lived to tell the tale. As far as I know, I'm the only person who can say that.

I'm not invincible, but I like to think I'm pretty good at what I do.

I'm an S Class Wizard back home. I use Crash magic and Disassembly magic. What I can't make blow up, I take apart until I can.

I'm not the only monster hunter where I'm from. Or even in the guild I'm in. Monster hunting is rather commonplace really, I just go after the big ones.

Ask around Fayren. I make my own living heading into the forests there on jobs for people in town. Collecting herbs or flowers, stuff like that. I run into some monsters out there sometimes.

Yeah, I've run into a few there too but... really my guild-mates keep them well under control. ...Not to mention they're not really a challenge for me.

What exactly do you mean when you said walk through a building? Normally someone wouldn't need to turn off their magic for that.

[He approaches a small rock sticking out of the ground, pointing the camera at it, he puts his finger to it, the finger glowing for half a second. Once the glow subsides, the place where he touched the rock exploded outward as if a rocket had hit it. The glow returns and subsides and the camera swings back around to his face.]

See... when I have my Crash magic on, it envelops my whole body, and I have a bad habit of walking around with it on, and getting lost in thought. ...I kind of walk through walls like they were nothing...

There don't seem to be much in the way of monsters around here, but I wouldn't mind finding out if there are jobs like that to be done. I'm pretty good at it myself.

Nothing good on the mission board at the guild, huh? There's sometimes jobs offered in the newsletter that goes out every week or so. I have last weeks but I don't know if there was anything on there if you're interested.

I don't know. Haven't been there in a while. Thought I'd try my hand at tracking down a monster on my own. Turns out, I'm not as stealthy as I thought I was.

[He grins sheepishly, working his metal fingers, and letting them clank a bit.]
