[Network Post]
[On the other end is a young boy who couldn't be older then about 6 with short blond hair and blue eyes. He doesn't really seem to realize that he's being recorded, after all, what the hell is a recording device? It's obvious by his expression of confusion and fascination that he has absolutely no clue what he's doing with the device or even how to properly use it. Oh boy.]
[Action
[To anyone around Memoria park in Genessia City, there's a 6 year old kid wandering around. He's obviously confused, but for a kid, he seems to be holding up fairly well, until he suddenly has to hold his nose all of a sudden because it starts bleeding on him. He oddly looks like he's really not feeling well and getting sick, and from the way he's got his hand to his head, no doubt his head must be hurting fiercely. Especially since he suddenly just plops himself on the ground against a tree. Yeah, Styxx was not doing well in this new set-up.]
[[OOC Note: Please note that Styxx can read minds and at this age tends to slip up more, so if you do not want Styxx to be able to read your character's mind, just let me know.]]

Hello Lovey. Nice to meet you.

Dove returns a few short moments later and can't help but grin. The laugh of a child (especially one with such a rough homelife, as she assumes) is more than enough to make her heart happy.]
I think she likes you. [Obviously. She's just going to start putting away groceries while the two get acquainted and... oops! There's one more surprise for Styxx yet as her swablu comes swooping from its perch in her bath to sit atop the boy's head.]
no subject
[Styxx startles a little at the swablu coming towards him so suddenly but only in his expression as it lands on his head, only making a move to try and shoo it off.]
no subject
So are you feeling any better? [she asks the boy, filling a glass of water and setting it on the table for him with a pointed nod.]
no subject
My head still hurts, but it happens a lot, so it's okay.
no subject
Make sure you drink some water, okay? It might help your head not hurt anymore.
[Meanwhile... she's just going to start a fire in her fireplace with a flick of her wrist.... from across the room.]
no subject
As he sees her start the fire, his eyes widen a little.]
Are you sure you're not a goddess?
no subject
She shakes her head this time, gets her own glass of water, and goes to sit down.]
Promise. Not a goddess. Just an angel. [Which... is sort of an equivalent, she guesses, given the world differences, but... there's really only one of her...] A very important angel, but... not a goddess.

Promise. I won't hurt you. Actually, a lot of angels jobs are to protect kiddos your age. That's what I did for a long time. They're called Guardians and Guides.
no subject
I don't think you'll hurt me. But....if that's what an angels job is, then why have they never protected my brother and I? Is it because your from a different world?
no subject
I... suppose so... [She's quiet a moment, trying not to make it too obvious that she's studying him.] Do your gods and goddesses not protect you when you need help?
no subject
Only people they choose to protect.
[And he didn't feel that either he or his brother were one of those people.]

Well... I'm sure that's not true, [She tells him, though, she's... silently uncertain in her mind. How is she supposed to know? She just hopes he's a child being... a child.]
In any case... you have me now, too. As long as you're here, I promise I'll take care of you, okay?

[Definitely time for a change in subject. She can't have him feeling so down, especially not while he's her charge.
Can anyone be sad when they're offered chocolate by an angel?
She snaps the bar in half and settles back on her carpet, crossing her knees as she offers him one side of it.]
This... is chocolate.

[In fact, she's going to snap of a piece for herself as she waits for him.]

I've never had anything like this before. It's good.

[Speaking of which... she finishes off her half of the bar and pushes herself back to her feet, looking down at him as she smooths her shirt hem.] Ok that note... I should probably start fixing it. Do you want to watch a movie or color while I'm cooking?
