[That was one heck of a wake-up, and also a whole lot of information given about what happened and just where he was. It was helpful, really! No doubt about that, someone had worked hard to make sure those who found themselves here knew what was up.

Did not at all make a whole lot of sense, but there were weirder thing out there. Probably.

All the more reason Lucio was exploring, making sure his gear was secure and allowed him to skate along sidewalks—] Yo-whoa-hey!

[Along with the sides of buildings when there was something weirder going on in the streets, leaping along and clearing himself on out of the way. Possibly clear over a few heads before touching back down on the sidewalk.]

Sorry! Gotta try and be more careful. [Didn't knock the cheer out of his voice even a little bit.

Was easy to catch sight of him in Genessia City, getting a feel for the place and the people around. A steady beat emanating from the "backpack" he was wearing that fed into the odd headphones he seemed to be wearing. Not loud enough to be an annoyance, but it was clearly music.]

[That is one cheery greeting from this young man. He still had some of his music playing, but it was turned down lower so he could easily be heard and hear anyone in turn. Just some nice background music if you asked him.]

This is one crazy place, isn't it? Still, folks here have all seemed to pull together even with all the stuff happening and everything.

[But, maybe cutting a little to the chase after spending so much time skating around and exploring...]

Since I'm new and all, figure I could ask for a little extra help. Good places to grab a meal? Fast food or not, easy to work up an appetite after taking a lot of this stuff in. Since some of y'all have been here for a while, figured you'd be the best to ask.

[hanzo considers the offer for a moment, and honestly he's almost inclined to decline. Except... he happens to be close enough to the sandwich shop that he likely would have wound up there anyway, so he takes a moment to gather a breath.]

Hm. perhaps I will take you up on that offer. [there's the smallest quirk of a grin on his face] You have excellent taste in tea, from the sound of it.

[Skate fast, and there was little to no obstacle with the hard-light blades. Maybe he was fortunate to have had his gear on when he suddenly wound up here.]

We'll see if you're right on that, too. Tend to go more herbal than not. [Because it was good, amongst other reasons- unless he just wanted water but hey.

Hm. [it's an affirmative grunt, and Hanzo doesn't have far to go. Hopefully they'll arrive shortly at the same time. As far as tea goes, Hanzo ever remains traditional, but he can't fault Lucio for herbal teas. They have their place, of course. With a sandwich, they would do just fine.]

[hanzo arrives first, if only because he was merely a street over, and he's taken to leaning against the storefront as he waits for lucio to arrive. If Lucio's doing his thing he might even take note of the music before the frog appears.]

[Also did green teas, and black teas were sometimes for the morning if he didn't go for juice; same could be said for a lot of meals where it was either tea, juice, or water.

Healthy lifestyle just so he could always be at his best.

There was definitely a beat, Lucio having a bit more speed than anyone on skates, and making sure to not run into anyone on his way. Didn't want to be rude to those walking on the sidewalks an going about their days after all! And of course he slowed down once close enough before stopping completely.

Hanzo Shimada. [He inclines his chin ever so slightly.] It would be impolite to say I had not heard of you before. Your accomplishments are well known to me.

[mostly, at least. He's familiar with what's been covered as far as news back home.] You are an accomplished man.

Really? From the same world then! [Not hard to guess that one since even he wouldn't expect people from other worlds to know who he was, let alone heard about things he's done.

He'd heard some things about a Shimada family, which was mostly all on the news. Some heavy stuff, but it didn't do a thing to reduce that cheer about him.] I try, people deserve to be able to have the freedom they need to live, and music is one way to reach and replenish the soul.

Hanzo is fine. [He's given up his connections to his family, after all. He avoids giving a reason beyond the answer, however. THAT subject is one he keeps closely guarded.]

[he says this as he turns, opening the door to the small sandwich shop for the musical frog to go inside first.]

Hanzo then. [Not at all going to pry, isn't his business.

[Even a thanks as Lucio moved through that open door.]

[Lucio you are such a good boy you deserve better company than this pile of self loathing and regret. But good company does much to improve a man's mood, and as dry as Hanzo tends to be, he can't help but feel a little more upbeat around someone so cheery.]

Hm, perhaps you're right. Good company always makes the atmosphere better.

[Was hard to gt him in a bad mood—and if something did there was probably something to think about coming. As it was? Didn't mind the dryness a bit, already looking around the inside of the place.

Yeah, this was definitely a good choice. Sometimes you couldn't beat a good sandwich, and what he could tell things looked good.]

It does! Try not to eat alone when I can help it, unless it's just something quick while on the go. Can be nice top stop and sit.

[You're a lot more social than Hanzo could ever imagine wanting to be, Lucio. It's not a bad thing, though. However, Hanzo's already looking over a paper menu, and he holds a copy out for Lucio to take. One side covered the sandwiches, the other; teas.]

I recommend any of the green teas.

[Most of the time he's either being social with kids or fans(and sometimes fans who are kids but still), yet still can get time to himself. Familiar with the joy of both worlds and may be how he can keep up with his lifestyle.

Can't play soccer or hockey alone, but practicing is a different story and all. Heck, that cheer was still present but he wasn't as outwardly energetic, time and place.]

Definitely take that into consideration, man. [Honestly would, glancing over the menu once it was handed over-] Got a sandwich rec to go with that?

Most of their sandwiches are good enough.

[he pauses and points to a meatball sub, however.] This one I would not recommend. [Hanzo may or may not have come in on a bad day for the meatball sub.] Not the best choice.

[also he's just one to enjoy actual vegetables with his food, something the meatball sub certainly lacks.]

Never had a good meatball sub, huh? [They can be tricky things, honestly. Also very messy if you were trying to get a sandwich to go. More of a stationary sandwich with all the sauce and everything.

He'd seen things.

Maybe another day he'd give it a try, but today was not that day, skimming over a few of the other choices.]

I usually try to go for more balanced ones, because there's nothing wrong with veggies topping meat.

[He doesn't disagree. In fact, when he does order, he probably orders something that comes with a salad instead of anything more traditional like fries or chips. I mean, apparently the man buys a whole christmas cake to eat alone so he's got to make up for those calories himself.]
