[The video starts... and it's clearly that the person using this device has no idea what to do with it because it's pointed away from it and you can see the bottom of his hand.]

You bastards, where the hell is Agumon?! I don't care that you brought me here, but if one of you doesn't tell me where my follower went, there'll be hell to pay!

[...]

Oh, by the way, I'm Masaru Daimon, the number one street fighter in Japan! Remember it!

[He lowers the phone, and starts walking. If you listen and watch long enough you can see him start asking random people about this "Agumon" character.]

[Hikari would remember, alright. But not because of any street fighter claim. Because she had just heard a name she recognized coming from a voice she definitely did not:]

...did you say 'Agumon'?

[There's a moment before he stops, and lifts his phone back up to where his face would be.]

Eh?! Dangit, how am I supposed to see you and record myself, huh? Oh, screw it!

[He turns it around, and there's his face. Immediately, he looks embarrassed for cursing so much in reply to a girl.]

Oh geez, sorry. Yeah, uh... he's my partner. He's this kinda frog-looking yellow thing?

[A pause.]

...Hey do I know you?

[While the language didn't seem to affect her all that much, she still seemed momentarily taken aback by the latter question. Blinking twice as his face came into view. Staring at it, as if trying to place it somewhere in her memories. It...seemed like she should recognize him. From somewhere.]

I'm Hikari. Hikari Yagami.

[A pause, to see if he reacted to her name in any way. Followed by:]

And I know what Agumon looks like. He's Oniichan's partner, too.

"Oniichan?" Your brother has an Agumon too...?

[It takes him a few more seconds.]

... Is your brother named Taichi Yagami?

[Her brows rose, but the surprise was mild. There were any number of explanations, some that made more sense than others...which meant, knowing their luck, it would be the least likely explanation of all that turned out to be true.]

Of course I do! Now I know why I recognize you! You're Taichi's little sister, right? Don't you remember? That old clockshop owner gathered all of us to stop that Quartzmon bas-... jerk that was threatening Taiki's world. It wasn't even that long ago!

Though uh, now that I think about it, he took you guys from the past. Uhm.

[Agumon was a name he would recognize, however, the guy on the video was not someone he knew, to say the least. But after skimming through replies he was somewhat getting an idea of things.

So he figured that he should speak up never the less.]

Nice to meet you. Though admittedly for someone who's meant to be number one street fighter, I haven't heard of you.

[Thankfully, Masaru has talked with Hikari and Ted at this point, so he's prepared enough for this. And for what it's worth, he's able to put two and two together on who this is.]

Yeah, I figured I'd have to make a new name for myself. You're Takeru, right? I guess you don't recognize me either?

[He paused for a moment, this wasn't like when the last person said something that surprised, which well... they did for reasons, but this seemed very different. he seemed to know who he was and yet he really didn't have a clue.]

That's right, though sorry I don't. Sometimes my memory is bad it seems.

[He let out a heavy sigh.]

I can tell you what went down if you want. Your choice.

[Seemed logical really. Though with that worded he figured out that he and Hikari have already spoken.]

Okay, so. A while back, there was this bad guy called Quartzmon. He was from a Digital World in the same universe as these other guys with Digimon named Taiki and Tagiru. He got so strong he created his own dimension called DigiQuartz and was starting to threaten all the worlds, so this old guy with a Clockmon gathered up all of us from Digimon universes to help fight him. He got you from a time when you were still a little kid and your leader Taichi was was ten, and we all started fighting Quatzmon around the world. That Tagiru guy used our power and ended up beating him once and for all, and then some mess happened that made us all get sent back to our own worlds and I guess you guys must've forgot everything that happened somehow.

[Deep breath.]

And yeah, that's the whole story.

(When you mention 'Agumon' from out of nowhere -and to random people- it's a pretty high probability Taichi will answer. He might look somewhat older than Masaru would remember; matter-of-fact, they would be almost close to the same age.)

Think of it this way. You'll have time to stock up your fridge so when your partner does get here, he won't eat you out of house and home!

...Not right away, at least.

(While he's fairly certain Hikari and Takeru wouldn't fully remember since they were pretty young, Taichi does recall highlights of their meeting. Whether or not Yamato remembered? Hard to say.)

So, you're here, just like your little sis said. You probably don't remember me, but I think you should probably talk to her about stuff.

[agumon?! does this guy know about digimon?! she really hadn't heard anyone else broadcasting anything about digimon over the network, so she definitely came out of hiding for this.]

Have you lost your digimon companion as well?

... Oh hey, you're Nene! It's me, Masaru! The guy who punched all the giant vampires!

[He figures Nene will probably remember him... it was her world, after all, right? Why would she forget?]

Yeah, uh. Agumon's not here. I'm pretty pissed off, but I'm going to try and find a way to take care of it.

[just give her one second please because this is incredibly weird. she just stared at masaru, her eyes narrowing even. she had never met this weirdly muscular teenager, how would he know her name?]

Masaru....-kun? [nope, the name didn't ring any bells at all.] I'm sorry, but who are you? I have never met you in my life. I would certainly remember someone like you with an Agumon.

[...] ...Sparrowmon is not here, so if you find anything out I would like to know how to get my partner back as well.
