Hello, everyone. It's me... Madoka! Sorry that I've been so quiet lately. I wanted to work extra hard so I could buy some decorations for my apartment with Mami-san and Sayaka-chan.

I hope this doesn't come off as strange, but... um. I'm trying to find some hobbies here. I wasn't very good at anything back home and... well, my job made me really busy. [By which she means, becoming the Law of the Cycle and ceasing to exist.

More importantly, Madoka is thinking of Sayaka and Mami. Being a magical girl ultimately wore them both down, mentally and physically, and she wants to distract them from constant witch hunts. ]

What kinds of fun things do you all do here? We've got a new shot at life, s-so... Might as well use it, right? For me, I used to really love gardening with my father... Oh! But also, I'd go over to a friends' place when she got video games. I saw something here called "Virtual Reality MOO?" Is that like the cute farming video game? Does anyone play it? Um... is it fun?

[And would it appeal to both Mami and Sayaka's heroic natures without actually putting them in harms' way??]

Hobbies?

I personally like shopping, trying on clothes, reading fairy tales and manga. And, um... Cute things? Playing with my Pokémon. Learning new things... Exploring.
I'll sometimes sing and dance...

Here it is. "Nova Nyan Nyan." It's about a girl who gains magical fighting powers and beats up villains in the name of love in a cyberpunk future. It makes me which I can be a magical girl too.

[Yet she already has some destructive magic already. She just wants an excuse to dress up.]

Magical girl manga, huh...? I read those kinds at home, too. I always wanted to be a magical girl myself.

But then I found out that my wish was a bit different from that... Maybe yours is different too?

Well, I can't say much for here since I haven't been here all that long. But I love to shop, and that's not something you even really have to be good at. Or, if you like gardening, maybe you could teach your friends? It'd be less work that way, too.

Oh. And there's a place with Virtual Reality. I passed it in... Nova City, I think? And read about it in the newspaper.

And huh, I guess that makes sense if Nova City is the super high-tech area. So virtual reality farming?

Maybe...? I remember there were cute farming games back home. Maybe I should check it out? It was called, uh... "Holo Deck" or something.

Though, I've never been good at video games. I just smash buttons and lose.

[Ada really was not one to talk about her hobbies to complete strangers, because she had her reasons. Mostly... because they were weird and she knew if she showed people that side of herself she could get judged for it. So instead she is going to focus on the other subject.]

This might seem a little unusual, but you mention video games. I have no idea what one is. Would it be okay to ask? I don't want to come off as rude, but I like to think of it as a learning experience.

Well, it's hard to explain? But the 'video' part is a moving picture... and then in video 'games,' you kind of control the picture...?

I don't know much about Virtual Reality, though. Just what I've read in stories and manga.

You could try reading. I work at a bookstore in Fayren. { Scribes and Scripts is one of the few bookstores in Fayren that doesn't just have books on magic and related topics. }

Beyond that, well... I don't go to Fairy Tail's parties unless Mavis forces me, but they're rarely closed to the public.

Tea parties? Really? Mami-san loves that sort of thing. I wonder if her and Mavis-san would get along?

Tea? { He didn't mention tea, but... sure, why not? Mavis likely wouldn't need much convincing. } Many of Fairy Tail's parties have involved alcohol, but I'll suggest it to Mavis.

Mavis is perhaps the kindest person I've ever met. { The way he says that, there would be no ambiguity as to how sincere it is. And coming from someone as jaded as Zeref, that speaks volumes. } There's a reason why she was elected Guardian of Fayren, after all.
