public video / semi-private action
[public video]
[Despite that scary top icon, Uai is smiling for this public video segment. He's settled in his Fayren apartment with some empty notebooks, the plain white sheets being visible in the camera frame.]
Hello, everyone. I'm not interrupting your weekend, am I? My name is Uai. I'm used to traveling between worlds, but this is my first time being captured in one. I was hoping to hear more about the worlds all of you come from. I somehow doubt we're all even from the same multiverse, so it would be interesting to hear what is "normal" for you all. For myself, Attleton and Genessia are the closet I've come to 'home.' What about you?
[semi-private action / forests of Fayren]
(( OOC before I delve into this: This action prompt involves Uai being villainous. HOWEVER: Please do not treat this is a wide-area thing. If you want to get involved in attacking Uai's monsters, please PM me or hmu on plurk. I'm very friendly and open, but I don't want to be balancing 100 fight threads. Thanks so much~! ;v; ))
[Uai had scouted out the least populated area that he could. There's plenty of space between himself and the nearest town. While Uai can be shameless about his problematic magic, and is perfectly aware this will 99% fail, he doesn't want to be arrested or labeled a villain. Not when it isn't to his benefit.
He's set up a rock barrier around himself before he even starts casting magic. His last attempt to escape Genessia got him hurt. This time, he's changed his spell outline. Uai knows he won't escape, but he won't be satisfied until he's tried his hardest. As he expected, the spell backfires and he suffers a recoil. Uai stumbles back with a gash in his stomach. The physical damage isn't the worst of it.]
... Hm~! That's frustrating..!
[The barrier he had put around himself shatters. His 'blood' from the wounds forms into four other 'Uais.' Unfortunately, they don't keep human form. Instead, they take the forms of skeleton dragons: Decaying, gross af, and covered in shadowy gunk. ]

[The four take off to wreck minor havoc in the forest, while the original Uai sinks to his knees. Despite his efforts, his feelings of concern and panic regarding the unleashing of Glitches are quickly consumed by his anger and hatred for Genessia. With his soul tattered and split, Uai can't control his Glitched personality either.
He exhales calmly and smirks, watching his four Glitches take off.]
It's fine. Playing nice is getting me no where anyway.

Noting it seems to be blind and deaf, Tatlyn used her special Elin tricks to sneak into position. That's when she gathers magic into her free hand.
Flicking her wrist once at it, a small bolt of energy flies out. Then she flicks again to throw another. Then she wound up for one more.]
Triple Nemesis!
[She pitched the throw to hit be monster with the final bolt. Each bolt is not particularly powerful, however.]

Before it can simply be angry about Tatlyn being gone (which was what it wanted? But it's an anger monster, so it'll never be unangry anyway,) the Glitch is struck by the Triple Nemesis attack. It roars with disapprove, because that was 10/10 wouldn't like that happening again. One of its wings crumbles and falls to the ground, and vanishes in a puff of black 'smoke.
Elsewhere, Uai definitely felt that and is whining. With another roar, the monster sends a confused blast of literally dark energy in the direction of those spells. Once again, proving that it cannot see, but seems to have some understanding of space.]

Tatlyn channels magic into her staff, the globe of water on the end glowing and aimed at the Glitch. In three second intervals, she begins firing off bright holy bolts. They are slow, but very dependable at dealing damage if they hit.
Tatlyn can't move while she's shooting, which is why she needs to make every slow shot count.]

Uai hurts on its behalf,it does take damage. First the other wing breaks off and dissolves, then one leg is shattered... and with the finally blast, the Glitch is broken in half.Neither half dissolves like the wings and leg. The monster doesn't exactly flail it either. It just growls, the notes of its 'voice' containing some distress. Elsewhere, Uai is screaming and angry, and echos of his voice can be heard from the broken monster.
It's up to Tatlyn whether it seems safe to approach. For what it's worth, it's the front half that is one-legged at the moment. The monster does still has a full mouth of teeth. ]

With every bit of her little Elin strength, she takes a running start to a high jump above the glitch. And on her descent, she drives the butt of her staff into its skull, pushing out magic through the staff, making the impact explode for a Final Reprisal, aiming to end this monstrous threat to the forest once and for all.]

With one final pained 'cry,' the Glitch disappears in a puff of smoke. There is no trace of it left behind: No bone shards, no grossness, and not even the horrible stench.]

It contracts back down to a small rod as she stows it back in her backpack.
It really is gone, isnt it? She cant smell or hear it anymore.]
...what the hell was that? Seriously...
I need to go tell Mavis...
[Tatlyn begins to walk, slowly, back towards Fairy Haven, being very cautious of her surroundings in case it comes back...]
