Good afternoon, everyone. I apologize if this seems out of the blue,  but it's been on my mind for a while now... Seeing as we all come from different worlds, I'm realizing that our definitions of things like "magic" and "science" are very different. It's gotten me quite curious. The limitations I have may not apply to your magic, or vice versa. We might all be accidentally limiting our reach by assuming we're the same.

... So. If I could have a few moments of your time? I would love to learn about how everyone's magic works. Is magic in your world based in some sort of "mana" that flows in the air? Or does it come from your soul? Genetics? Can it be learned, or even taught, in Genessia? Do you need tools? Do we need to make tools for you?

And what about science? If your technology closer to Attleton, or Nova City? Can you travel space yet? Do you have holograms? I wonder what kinds of inventions we could make if we put our minds together?

I hope I'm not being too nosy. It's just fascinating to think about!

Who knows, I just know it's a thing in the royal family. You can't eat just anyone unless that was a lie so we couldn't do that.

I suppose a society where eating each other has a benefit would need laws regarding that, or else 'society' becomes synonymous for 'buffet.'

So then. How does that apply in Genessia? Hypothetically.

Only the royal family can eat people. Commoners cannot. If anyone could power would be a much easier thing for anyone to get and there would be no point in a royal family to begin with.

As for how that applies. Who knows. I have yet to find out.

I can eat souls, but instead of it satisfying me it would give me a... How do I put this? It would probably be extremely trippy because souls are not my food source.

It is, however, a food source to 1% of the demon population. They would not get the side effects like most others would.

That drama aside. I'm curious! You said only the royal family can eat people, and that you have eaten souls... Are you a member of the royal family, then?

We are the only ones who can gain abilities from eating people or at least eating the royal family anyway. Any demon can eat any creature if it sustains them. Most demons eat flesh like that. For me, I'd have to drain a person of blood.

I enjoy it because I can feel the life drain from someone that way. [Yeeeep. Even if he comes across as a halfling sometimes because of it, but he knew the difference there was vampires can only drink blood and if they tried anything else they'd be sick, but Baldur can eat other things even if it doesn't sustain him for more than a couple hours.]
