[Uai has kept his head low while he lets his little Glitch incident blow over. But now that he's had some time to gather more information, he's moving forward. With very innocent motives, honestly! Don't question them. He's definitely not trying to learn what kinds of enemies he might be making later on!]
Good afternoon, everyone. I apologize if this seems out of the blue, but it's been on my mind for a while now... Seeing as we all come from different worlds, I'm realizing that our definitions of things like "magic" and "science" are very different. It's gotten me quite curious. The limitations I have may not apply to your magic, or vice versa. We might all be accidentally limiting our reach by assuming we're the same.
... So. If I could have a few moments of your time? I would love to learn about how everyone's magic works. Is magic in your world based in some sort of "mana" that flows in the air? Or does it come from your soul? Genetics? Can it be learned, or even taught, in Genessia? Do you need tools? Do we need to make tools for you?
And what about science? If your technology closer to Attleton, or Nova City? Can you travel space yet? Do you have holograms? I wonder what kinds of inventions we could make if we put our minds together?
I hope I'm not being too nosy. It's just fascinating to think about!
[ooc note: If you want to, you can mark your reply "OTA" and use this post for general magic nerd parties? I am not opposed to that if your character is also curious.]

If you like. Still, are you really certain that going away means going back?

[His dad was pretty hard to anger.]
Let's hope there's a home to get back to, I suppose. Good afternoon.
[Not really feeling the Genessia spirit, huh?]
no subject
What makes you say that?
no subject
I just think where you place your confidences and agnosticism is...interesting.
[It's a better word than "arbitrary"]

Sighing, Uai tugs his braid over his shoulder and tries to calm down.]
I could say the same to you. You definitely enjoy getting into other people’s business, but you don’t seem very open-minded. Or particularly kind. Just nosy.
no subject
Haha, I'm sure you "could" say all sorts of things. Well Uai, if it's too private, that's certainly something worth saying.
An open mind, like an open mouth, is absurd in perpetuity. As for kindness...goodness, would that virtue did less damage than vice.
no subject
So tell me: Why would you suggest my home might not be there? Is there a reason, or are you trying to piss me off?
no subject
Though the latter theory could use some charity; no, Uai, wrath isn't my aim.
[90% of it comes effortlessly]
I wasn't suggesting it objectively, but subjectively.
no subject
[Just a thought.]
Tell me where your theory comes from, and I might stay nice.
no subject
Ehaha, if this is nice I'd hate to see nasty. Well, forgive me for being a bore and leading with a question, but ah...have you taken an inventory of yourself? Are you just as you remember, down to the roots?
no subject
Yes. Why? Are you having an identity crisis? There’s probably a hotline for that.

I’m not a physical being, so I don’t have to adjust much. Why?
no subject
I ask because a while back many of us had our blood tested to see if everything was as it'd always been. Being human, that is, one with a well known basis of comparison, it was suggested that we were clones. That is, people with all the memories of the originals, bred and born here for a mysterious purpose.
no subject
That changes nothing for me, then. Whether I'm a clone or the 'original,' there's a real Hana out there--- A real Sakura and a real Chika, too. And I really love them, with all of my heart. So I'm going to get out of here, and I'm going to tell them that. No matter what.
Unless you delight in hurting people, you should keep your mouth shut about your theory.
no subject
[Truth hurts, of course, but he's genuinely in the dark about what other pains it'd cause.]
no subject
If I hear that you're sharing this theory too freely, I'll give you some lessons in timespace. I'm sure you'll have fun. [It won't be fun.]
no subject
Would that the case.
[Sometimes Ted's deaf to intonation. More lessons? Fun!]
Ahaha, in addition to the piano? Very charitable of you; I'm looking forward to it.
[Sorry Uai he shares it whenever it seems right. Which isn't uncommon.]
no subject
Piano is different. Music is a gift, got it?
Now, stop testing my patience.
no subject
And what's timespace? A tax?
As you wish; sorry for upsetting you.
no subject
[And after that, hearing the venom in his own voice, Uai holds his breath.
The sighs.]
... Sorry. I should go.
