Hello, Genessia, Attleton, Everglade, Nova and Fayren!

Another election season is upon us, and I'm just so excited for it!

Before I get started let me just say... It's been just as much of an honor as I thought it would be working with Cassian Andor, and I wish him only the best, and hope he gets all the rest and relaxation he deserves.

He's a saint, and I consider myself lucky that he was so willing to work with me on everything. I am sorry if I was ever too imposing, Mr. Andor, and I feel truly blessed to have worked alongside you.

As for this year, I can't wait to see who we have running! I look forward to working with whoever becomes the new guardian of Attleton, these next six months will be magical!

Perhaps literally!

Who knows!

It's going to be sad to see Mr Cassian leave office. He's been doing such a great job.

Oh hi! My goodness, it's wonderful to meet you! Let me just say, I have been paying attention to everything, I want you to know you're doing a wonderful job, I'm so happy with how things are.

I know, it's going to be hard to see him leave. But at least he'll still be around! It isn't like he's going anywhere physically.

Mentally, spiritually, metaphysically maybe, I have some great suggestions for spas that feature meditation and yoga... But it's good to know we can all still see him.

Oh, really? I'm glad to hear it... I'll keep it up!

Maybe we can surprise him with spa coupons or something...? To reward him, and help him start relaxing! Though, I don't know is Kay can go to a spa with him... hm...

Why wouldn't Kay be able to? Maybe not in Attleton, but I'm sure Nova City might have spas for human and robotic patrons. Everyone needs a spa day, robots are no different!

Thank you for your kind words, I'm sure Cassian is just as honored.

I have the feeling that this next elections are going to be interesting, The last debates were really something else, that with one of the participants spitting fire.

And wasn't that incredible? I hope someone filmed it, that's only the forth time I've seen someone breathe fire and not become consumed from the inside out.

It's always so impressive.

We have dragons in my galaxy, they do that, but this is the first time I saw it first hand. It was impressive, I wish I had that recording too.

You do? How lucky, we only get to see real dragons when the universes overlap and transpose themselves, ghost-like, over our own.

It really is something of a crapshoot though when it happens. It could be dragons!

Or interdimensional horrors.

I'd vastly prefer your situation.

We have similar giant reptiloids, such as the Battle Hydra. It has wings and two heads and they lived in Yavin IV, where out Rebel base was set.They're pretty tame and shy if you don't bother them.

Interdimensional horrors are thankfully not something I've see often.

Thank you, sir. Cecil. [ He will never get used to that. But one of the perks of retiring: He won't be flustered by such public praise anymore. ] It has been... Actually, it has been pleasant working with you. These have been productive six months.

[ They got some big projects done, both Cecil's and his, and was downright relaxing after the hell of the six months prior, which had been one catastrophe for Attleton after the other. It's been a good run. ]

They have, haven't they? And they wouldn't have been nearly as productive, safe or enjoyable if you hadn't have been there for it. Attleton owes you a great debt of gratitude. You've more than earned a long, relaxing break.

[ It would be easy to be dismissive or curt with Cecil but they did work together well. And he's his mayor, his commanding officer, he deserves a proper answer. ]

I'm not planning to relax but I think it's time to focus my time and energy elsewhere. I have neglected my family, expecting them to support me while doing very little to support them. It is time now I prioritize them. I'm also tired of having to make compromises for Attleton's good or keeping quiet when I would rather speak. Serving Attleton was an honor... but being a politician is tiresome. I would rather not do it for very long at a time.

I absolutely understand. Family is always first, after all.

Being a politician isn't for everyone, but can I just say that you were very good at it, and I appreciate everything you've done.

If you need anything at all, I would be more than willing to offer any kind of assistance I can, you know how to reach me.

I don't know what I'm going to do afterwards, or what I will need. I still have to do my duty for another month, I haven't had time to think about it. But I won't turn down a favor.

I'm throwing my hat into the ring, primarily to pick up where Cassian left off. He's been patient enough to put up with my bullshit, so I figure the least I can do is return the favor.

He's the most patient man I've ever met, next to Carlos.

I wish you the best of luck in the elections, by the way! I hope the debates are as spirited as they were last year, everyone was so passionate.

Considering I've kept my job as deputy despite sleeping in the office, shooting myself in his office, and a bunch of other things, I figure I owe him one. Or twenty.

Debates have never been my strong suit, so I'm hoping I don't embarrass myself too much there. Too much time being hired muscle I guess.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, the biggest threat to you in public speech is anxiety.

Well, anxiety and a sudden, violent coup from a previously believed inactive sect of highly religious cultists, but that almost never happens.

[Sorry Cecil, Dante is just going to bust out into raucous laughter that slowly becomes less and less laughter sounding until he peters out into a sigh.]

...I don't think I've really told anyone here but yeah... I kinda had to kill a pope for a religion that thought my old man was some god that they were going to use as a center point for consolidating power to take over the world.... Inactive religious cults are more common than you might think...
