[Okay, he's read the pamphlet and watched the video so he's up to date. After suppressing his ki and flying high above the bay to get a good look around, he's still not impressed.
This isn't Earth, he knows that. It's no other planet he's been to. There's some familiarity here, maybe some familiar ki, but they're not at full power and faint. It sets him more on edge than comforts, actually.
Whatever's responsible knows that he's here, and Vegeta was never one for hiding. So, pissed to hell and back, he activates a video from high above the bay.]
Whose idea of a joke is this?

[Hi, have a new face on the video. The face actually somewhat resembles the person Dante's been arguing with, but the hair-color, style, and eyes are completely different. The manner is also a lot less abrasive; firm, but polite. Also no sound, because Trunks is probably WITH Vegeta, and is going to attempt to defuse things.]
With all due respect, you don't know me, I don't know you. But if you want to actively and *completely* get what what you DON'T want to happen, to happen? Then keep on antagonizing and baiting him.

I get your point--I really do. But I've seen him baited like this before, and the results weren't pretty. Mostly because things got worse, and I was one of those who had to clean it up. Sounds like you don't want to have to clean up things any more than I do, so just...stop rising to the bait he's giving you in turn. Please.
[It is a firm look, as Trunks is very politely asking, but also willing to back this up too.

look im not a people person. but i dont think letting him do whatever he wants is the answer either. i laid out the stakes and consequences. if you know him better ill leave further convincing to you.

Oh he's not a people person either, and I'll be one of the first to stop him from just doing what he wants. But that's easier without people baiting him.

Guns and swords won't work on him. Too weak. ....remember that "emperor of the Galaxy?" Dude named Frieza, right?
Weakling compared to the guy you're baiting. (although Frieza IS susceptible to a sword. Especially if you slice him down the middle, then into so much piles of meat, and then blast them with energy to char thoroughly. I speak from experience.)
Taunting also...well, it doesn't put him "off-guard" in the way you mean. It makes it worse, because you goad too much and then it's an explosion and others have to pick up the pieces.

'making it worse' is often what makes it better. if youre fighting mad youre not fighting smart. that said my explosions are usually empty castles belonging to demon emperors or the like

I met Mr. Andor; he's been helpful, and was nice enough to let me accompany him around Attleton to give me a tour. I also met K2S0. And Starky---ball of energy who was fun to take walking.
Believe me, I'd rather not have to deal with it either. It's easier to prevent that if Vegeta's calmer though, and not riled up. Where I'm from, I'm used to being the first in line to defend everyone else. Including from an alternate and psychopathic version of 17--since he seems to know you. (It's complicated.)
I'm guessing neither of you know how to 'back off' when it's the smart option. Sometimes that's a good thing, sometimes that's a bad thing--this is one of those times when it's a bad thing. Especially because it'll make things worse for more than just the two involved.
