So, my mother is having a party on June 23rd and 24th. It's going to be on the Nova City Islands, and there will be games and prizes. I wanted to invite you to join us as my guest? If you want to come please meet us at the Nova City Docks at 11am on June 23rd.

Trunks has gotten the lay of Nova City pretty well, and a decent start on getting to know and explore Attleton, so time to add Genessia city to his list. He'll be out and about exploring, with particular visits to the Genessia Scientific Research Foundation's lab--mostly to find if they have a head-office, a few shops and parks, and making note of certain locations.

Trunks hadn't wanted to disrupt Rose's yoga schedule, so he didn't meet her every day to work with her on meditation. But--aside from her recent hermiting because of things--they did try to meet regularly. One such morning finds them in the Garden Park, slightly off (but not too far) off the path by the trees.

I'm sorry, I didn't think about the sand and your joints. You're a lot more advanced than (and obviously also NOT one also) any robot I'm used to dealing with regularly. Is there a way to mitigate the hassle?


[ 17 and 18 only partially count, as they're 'exceptions' and not robots, even if Trunks had dealt with them for some definition of 'regularly'.]

I'm not responsible if he brings any damage on himself. Father also has a far shorter fuse than I do, and much less tolerance.

I know he is annoying. But you're an adult, and so is your father. Behave accordingly.

I make no promises about my Father. I've already had to de-escalate involving him once and he'd barely arrived here.

...but I will do my best to not break or hurt K2 on purpose, and I generally like him. You should know, just in case--as much as I've been around robots, and he looks far more robotic than the androids I'm used to--I grew up under a reign of terror by two Androids that no one could really stop. I couldn't sense them--no ki. It's been a long time...but sometimes old reflexes and triggers kick up, if I'm startled.



[You're a soldier of sorts Cassian, you've learned enough by now about Trunks to guess he's got some PTSD.]

But he's my partner and I won't stand for harm being done to him.

I more than understand that sentiment. I've lost too many people already, and come too close to losing others too many times already. That's why I wanted to warn you. Besides that I actually like K2...some of the time.



[Technically, he's lost everyone BUT Mai now. And Mai's had way too many close calls.]
