Attleton Colosseum--a few hours after this thread.

The Colosseum was still not his favorite place--but this time Trunks was able to put the cheering crowds and atmosphere out of his mind. Mostly because as much as he wasn't impressed, he did know he shouldn't make stupid mistakes--like being cocky. Normally he wasn't nearly so childish anyways, but Bakugou just used up all his patience--especially when he threatened his friends.

Never mind they were probably idle-threats... Trunks has lost too many friends and too many others. Not that he would do much, beyond knocking the kid out if it came to that.

So as soon as Bakugo gave him a time, Trunks was headed to the colosseum and ready.

[Well, that... Where does she even start? From thinking Katsuki lost his phone to realizing he lost his temper. Then feeling kind of betrayed that even after they cried on the floor together, he went and did this.

She opens her mouth

closes it

then sighs.]

... Okay! I'm on my way, um! [She begins looking around for a first aid kit.] Oh, gosh. Is Dante-san there? Did he end up coming by?

No. I'm pretty sure Bakugo didn't want anyone knowing about this, considering he tried to keep it private.

[A hand comes up, pinching the bridge of his nose.]

Usually, I know better...but my patience has been gone with him since the Haunted House. You seem to handle him best, so...I'd like to talk sometime, if that's okay. Since I have some more insight into him now. I'd rather not do this again.

Auu?? Haunted House? Wh-What happened-- No, don't say.

[She is wound up enough!

With her first aid kit in hand, Satou takes off to the Colosseum. At least until he's feeling better, she decides not to get on anyone's case about this fight.]

Mm, we can definitely talk. Ah! Did he hurt you? Are you okay, sir?

[There's a head-shake in negative.]

I've dealt with far worse than him. I also did my best to not hurt him, beyond the knock out and blocking his explosions. Tried talking, and finally walking away, when I started to recognize what his issue is.

My name is Trunks. I'm a part-timer at Torchwood, and was on hand to help in case of any trouble at the Haunted House.

Ah... Torchwood. Mm, Rose-san works there...

[She quickens her pace. Even if he says that he isn't hurt, she figures a once look-over can't make it worse. Satou is quickly approaching the Attleton archway, though exhausted from all of the running around she's had to do today.]

I'm Kuroneko, Satou! Volunteer Deputy in Attleton and Detective in Everglade. Auu, of all days not to be volunteering..!

I'm sorry to trouble you then, Ms.

[Was it Kuroneko or Satou? Guessing here.]

...Kuroneko. And to make you come all the way out here. If I wasn't worried about him waking up and losing his temper, I'd offer to bring him to you. And again--some of this is my fault, as I do usually have a better rein on myself too. I shouldn't have taken the bait.

[A definite sigh there, hand reaching up to brush through his bangs.]

He reminds me a lot of someone else who's also good at getting under my skin...

Ah, no... No trouble. He has that effect on people.

[And she is glad to have a chance to help Katsuki, even if it's in these circumstances. Her poor friend really is going to be grouchy when he finds out he got his butt kicked and then his mom friend was called. Oops.]

I appreciate the apology, though. Katsuki-san has an amazing power and I feel as if it has gotten him through his life so far. When people take the bait and take to him with their fists, or by challenging his strength verbally, they just reinforce to him that strength solves problems.

So I'd appreciate an effort not to encourage this anymore.

No, I agree with you. It's also very likely he's been told that his power is the only thing that matters, and praised for it, and so when he finds someone else who's stronger or better than him at something, his ego can't take it.

It's...not an excuse, but some of this started at the haunted house. Mostly because I kept putting out his explosions. I even offered to let him fight me, and he refused. Then he was being a dick to Kaytoo and Cassian, and I just...let my own childishness get the better of me.

Mostly by calling him out on how he's all talk, and if he wants me to shut up he can make me.

Mm... well! That can set him off, that’s for sure!

[At least Trunks realizes that strategy isn’t effective with Katsuki now?? This is still a step in the right direction!]

Well, it’s over now. We can only improve going forward... Hopefully we can get everyone else to understand that they aren’t helping make him peaceful by kicking his butt. [She picks up the pace, cheating with her magic:] You said bruising, right? I hope he’s not dehydrated.

Unfortunately I don't know that you'll ever get everyone to agree to that. Dante mentioned he had an idea...and I need to let him give me an I told you so, and give him an apology too.

[Trunks definitely feels sheepish, but yes--this was helpful. Stupid in many ways, but helpful too.]

Part of it is we also need to get through to Bakugo, to help HIM realize that strength isn't just beating everyone else. Not to mention does he really actually realize what he's saying with threatening to murder people and wanting them to die?

[That's still a bit of a sticking point.]

Bruising on his arms and some swelling. I've noticed his sweat is what powers his explosions--saw that at the Haunted House too.

Dante-san did? I should ask what he's planning.

[Maybe they have the same idea of "take Katsuki to work and show him how it's done!"]

Well... The start to that will be talking to him more. More chances to calmly talk through problems and show how things can be solved to benefit him and others... Showing him more sides of being a hero might help too. [She smiles at that,] He's very adamant about helping people. Even if it's hard to tell sometimes.

Oh I knew he had a Hero fetish of some kind. That was obvious at the debates. I think he has this weird notion where if he's the strongest, it means he's automatically a hero, and that means he automatically wins.

That's not how it works though...especially in a place like this.

If he's anything like the person he reminds me of, then good luck getting through because his stubborn ego and his pride will just feed each other, and he won't listen.

A fetish? No no no. It's just that he admires a hero! It sounds like his home has a lot of them?

And it's really not that hard to talk to him... I wonder why everyone has so much trouble?

[Arriving at the Colosseum, Satou turns her phone so that it faces Trunks. Just as a silent indicator that she's arrived and is going to hang up.]

Is he okaaayy?!

[From the way he talks, Trunks is still going to suspect a fetish. Which doesn't mean it needs to be anything adult necessarily. Still, he nods and when she hangs up, he places Katsuki's phone by his prone body.

Aside from keeping the other from hitting his head in the fall, Trunks hasn't moved him much except to keep pressure off of his arms. The grenade-like cuffs have been removed, and he's standing nearby. Waving to Satou, as she comes closer.]

Unconscious. His pulse is steady and his breathing even though. I had to knock him out, or he'd have kept going.

[Satou hurries over and kneels down next to Katsuki. It's clear that he isn't in the worst shape ever, but Satou does take an obligatory moment to look him over. She pauses after assessing him, then looks up at Trunks.]

Thank you so much. I guess you probably want to get out of here before he wakes up, huh? [She opens her kit, humming thoughtfully to herself:] I won't heal him with magic until he wakes up and sees what shape he's in. A little pain can be a good teacher.

[This is why she's a Detective and not in the school system]

If I thought he wouldn't try and attack me, I'd help you carry him home.

[The tone is dry, but Trunks does mean that.]

He has a real problem with people thinking they're looking down on him, or mocking him. It came out when I started just blocking, instead of fighting back. That's part of why I think in his life, he's been taught that strength is all there is, and if he doesn't have that, then he's got nothing.

But you seem to know him better, and I would like to talk with you. Because there really does need to be a solution to him just threatening murder on everyone, and I doubt he'll stop it on his own.

[There's a small smile.]

[She fishes out her phone. Once it's out of her pocket, she has it levitate to Trunks' level. Her hands are otherwise occupied with getting a cold compress ready, and bandaids for any scratches Katsuki might have.]

It must be such a sad way to live, huh? Only fighting must get so tiring.

[He'll meet her half-way on the levitation, and grab the phone. Inputting his info, before moving over and placing it by her on the ground.]

It's lonely, and hard. It takes a strong will to break through it, too. Makes the person their own worst enemy.

[Once more brushing his hand through his hair.]

Unfortunately, I can't ask the person Bakugo reminds me of, as he's no longer here. IF I could get him to talk, which I might've been able to. But that's for another time. Anything else I can do? Do you want me to let Dante know?

Mm... I can't imagine how hard it much be for him.

[She brushes Katsuki's hair out of his face, worrying up a storm. She doesn't want to change anyone's personality, but she doesn't want to leave anyone to be lonely either.]

Dante-san would be a help, just so he knows. I'll write up a proper report later... First, I should take him back home.

I'll let him know.

[Trunks tilts his head though, studying them.]

How are you getting him home?

[She'll make him walk!

Is what she wishes she could say. But given that she doesn't know when he'll wake up...]

I'll carrying him over my shoulder! No worries. I'm super tough!

[That just brings a frown.]

I believe you....but... Any chance you can keep him unconscious until he's where you want him to be?

Hm? I mean... the goal is that he wakes up quickly. It'll be fine if he does. I'm more used to him yelling than him not.

This is surreal and creepy.

[There's a sigh, and Trunks sounds tired.]

I meant more, that I could carry him for you. I just know if he wakes up while I'm doing so, he's likely to start hurting himself again by trying to hurt me.

[Oh! Now she feels kind of silly...

Satou giggles and shakes her head.]

Please, don't worry about it. I know I look like I'm small and weak, but I really will be okay. You've had enough trouble already today... You should get some rest, hm? As much as I hate it, he's going to try to mouth you off later regardless of who carries him.
