[and then there's a Sylveon wearing a tiny tuxedo throwing herself at Kay smugly crowing Sylveon! Sylveon! Cassian appears a moment later, plucking her from Kay’s shoulder. If you look closely, you can see a matching wedding ring on Cassian’s hand, worn along with the gunmetal-grey ring made of Kay’s frame he’s been wearing since Christmas.]

That’s it, you’ve been wearing this tux since the wedding. Enough now. [For his troubles, he gets his cheek licked– slowly and slobbery and with great relish. He finally notices the phone in Kay’s hand.] If you’re going to announce it, you might as well tell them we’ll be unavailable for our honeymoon.

With a position like Guardian...I don't think you lost because of anyone thinking you're weak. You're ambitious and driven, and those are good things. But people want their Guardian to be someone they feel like they can come to for help, and...well. Your temper doesn't necessarily make you the most approachable person. Especially not for someone who's an emotional wreck because they just got attacked by the mob.

You know what? I think you do care what people think way more than you'd like to admit. You want people to respect your strength. There's nothing wrong with that. But you don't need to pick fights with people to make them do that.

Until the next election, it would be worth considering getting a job as either an EMT or a lifeguard. Then you can get experience protecting people through more than just fighting, and first aid's just really useful to know anyway.

I don't have the patience to listen to a bunch of sick and injured bitchbabies whine. Half those people are hypochondriacs who are overreacting, anyway.

[As for the lifeguard suggestion, well... He doesn't do great with water.]

Maybe take a first aid course once you've got some spare cash, then. Have you considered getting a job as a security guard somewhere?

Are you fucking kidding me?! Being a security guard would be a step down from my pay grade! [And probably boring as hell. He doesn't argue with her first aid suggestion, however.]

I saw some security jobs that pay pretty well. Unless you mean like...combat skill pay grade. In which case, keep in mind that this is a suggestion for a job to pay your bills with just until the next election.

I make three stars. [Which while one less than Aizawa, ensures that he's not only not a burden, but able to contribute pretty decently.] I refuse to take financial advice from someone who looks like she uses all her expenses up at the closest shitty boutique.

The security jobs I saw were three star jobs...and I only use most of my spare cash on clothes.

[Well, she does now and learned how to budget at Balamb Garden when she didn't have her rich family to hand her money. Previously, she went a little crazy on her purchases.]
