Attleton-Colosseum--Locked to Bakugou, Aizawa-sensei. Open to spectators...
Attleton Colosseum--a few hours after this thread.
The Colosseum was still not his favorite place--but this time Trunks was able to put the cheering crowds and atmosphere out of his mind. Mostly because as much as he wasn't impressed, he did know he shouldn't make stupid mistakes--like being cocky. Normally he wasn't nearly so childish anyways, but Bakugou just used up all his patience--especially when he threatened his friends.
Never mind they were probably idle-threats... Trunks has lost too many friends and too many others. Not that he would do much, beyond knocking the kid out if it came to that.
So as soon as Bakugo gave him a time, Trunks was headed to the colosseum and ready.

Still, it would be best if he did this quickly. Entering the Colosseum in his hero costume, he wore a tense scowl rather than his usual cocky smirk.]
Let's make this quick.

If Bakugou is tense, Trunks is calm--eyes narrowed, stance loose and ready, watching the other. Studying.]
Last chance--you sure you want to do this?
[Because the lack of cocky-smirk is telling, but Trunks doesn't know this kid enough to know if it's because the other is nervous, or is actually serious.]
no subject
Stop stalling. I'll murder that smug look off your face.
[That's all the warning Trunks receives before Bakugo is flying at him and aims both hands out to create a devastating explosion in his direction.]
no subject
Hands up in turn, small blasts of ki meeting the explosion to help diffuse it.]
no subject
In fact, Trunks' ability in diffusing his explosion just frustrates him more. He glares at him, trying to gauge how much effort it takes Trunks to block his explosions, using more of his stored up nitroglycerin to build up on the explosion he's already creating.]

[Video]---SATOU (Pink-Cheeks)
So, I owe you an apology--I usually know better than to get into it with someone whose pride is blinding them. Maybe I'll apologize to him too, sometime. We're at the colosseum though, and Bakugo does not know when to quit, even when he's hurting himself. His arms are all bruised, but he's knocked out and not going to hurt himself any more for now.
She opens her mouth
closes it
then sighs.]
... Okay! I'm on my way, um! [She begins looking around for a first aid kit.] Oh, gosh. Is Dante-san there? Did he end up coming by?
Re: [video]
[A hand comes up, pinching the bridge of his nose.]
Usually, I know better...but my patience has been gone with him since the Haunted House. You seem to handle him best, so...I'd like to talk sometime, if that's okay. Since I have some more insight into him now. I'd rather not do this again.
no subject
[She is wound up enough!
With her first aid kit in hand, Satou takes off to the Colosseum. At least until he's feeling better, she decides not to get on anyone's case about this fight.]
Mm, we can definitely talk. Ah! Did he hurt you? Are you okay, sir?
no subject
I've dealt with far worse than him. I also did my best to not hurt him, beyond the knock out and blocking his explosions. Tried talking, and finally walking away, when I started to recognize what his issue is.
My name is Trunks. I'm a part-timer at Torchwood, and was on hand to help in case of any trouble at the Haunted House.
no subject
[She quickens her pace. Even if he says that he isn't hurt, she figures a once look-over can't make it worse. Satou is quickly approaching the Attleton archway, though exhausted from all of the running around she's had to do today.]
I'm Kuroneko, Satou! Volunteer Deputy in Attleton and Detective in Everglade. Auu, of all days not to be volunteering..!
no subject
[Was it Kuroneko or Satou? Guessing here.]
...Kuroneko. And to make you come all the way out here. If I wasn't worried about him waking up and losing his temper, I'd offer to bring him to you. And again--some of this is my fault, as I do usually have a better rein on myself too. I shouldn't have taken the bait.
[A definite sigh there, hand reaching up to brush through his bangs.]
He reminds me a lot of someone else who's also good at getting under my skin...
no subject
[And she is glad to have a chance to help Katsuki, even if it's in these circumstances. Her poor friend really is going to be grouchy when he finds out he got his butt kicked and then his mom friend was called. Oops.]
I appreciate the apology, though. Katsuki-san has an amazing power and I feel as if it has gotten him through his life so far. When people take the bait and take to him with their fists, or by challenging his strength verbally, they just reinforce to him that strength solves problems.
So I'd appreciate an effort not to encourage this anymore.

Yep! Yay for new Cr!
I think I'm good with this being my last-tag on this thread?
Front row seat of course!
[Spectator]
[Not all the details. Mainly it's arrangement, and the names of the participants. One whom she didn't know, but that alone wasn't cause for worry. Trunks was strong enough that she trusted him to take on an opponent whom he could either defeat, or whom he was facing in an attempt to get stronger. That was the Saiyan way, after all.]
[She watched the match in its entirety. Not once flinching. In fact...her expression hardly changed. Eyes following the movement with surprising ease; the fact that she could see almost every blow was, in itself, evidence of how horribly mismatched the fight was to begin with. The fact that it ended with Trunks doing little more than defending before striking that last blow cemented the notion.]
[Arms resting at her sides, her legs were crossed as she leaned slightly back. Keeping her eyes on the immediate aftermath but not going out of her way to make her presence known.]
[Trunks would sense her soon enough, anyway. If he hadn't already.]
Re: [Spectator]
Of course he sensed Mai, along with at least one other presence he recognized. But Mai was who mattered. Which is why he's making sure he leaves first, but also is making his way over too her. Calm, and his head is down in a way she'd recognize. He's thinking, but he also is aware that he was stupid, and she's going to want answers.]
Is it worth my asking how you found out?
no subject
[Or want me to find out. She would have added, if she were absolutely certain. As of yet, he'd given no indication he was deliberately trying to keep her from it.]
That didn't look much like friendly sparring.
no subject
[There's an eyebrow raise, and while it might've sounded defensive, he was also honestly curious.]
I didn't exactly expect anyone other than Bakugo to show up.
[But he will cross his arms, slumping a bit with his head down. Tilted slightly, both in thought and to avoid her eyes.]
I was stupid, and took bait when I shouldn't have. My patience was already gone with him, when he mouthed off more and threatened our friends. I don't think he even knows what a friendly spar would be.
[Likewise, Trunks had never gone into this intending to hurt him. He DID know how to control himself, something he was certain now that Bakugo didn't. Or didn't care to control himself.]
I don't know if you could hear it, but I also asked if he was sure he wanted to do this.
no subject
[Sitting up a bit straighter, she took note of the slump and deliberate aversion of eye contact. Were she in a better frame of mind, she might have even smiled. He looked every bit like a child with his hand caught in the cookie jar. Like he expected her to yell at him.]
I didn't hear that part, no.
[She saw lips move, but couldn't read them from the angle she was sitting at.]
I guess I'm just most surprised you let something like this get this far. You knew how weak he was--[An assumption, but not one without prior knowledge. No doubt, Trunks' would have sensed his opponent's power levels and made judgements accordingly.]--and you knew he was just saying things to piss you off...or did you really think he would hurt anyone?
no subject
To be honest? I don't actually know, and I still don't know after that fight. He was extremely restrained during the debates, but I first encountered him at the Haunted House. One thing I will give us, is we were all prepared for almost any thing. Soon as I saw him go in, I grabbed a fire extinguisher and kept my senses open.
[It might seem irrelevant, but he had a point and purpose.]
Even to the illusions, his reaction is to fight, and that includes his making explosions. I just tried to ensure things didn't actually get set on fire. That's part of why I was in a bad mood after all of that--he used up my patience.

What exactly did he say to you? To get you to come here.
