When Li woke up, the first thing she realized was that she was in tight quarters and the second thing was the sound of water. The combination of the two sent her into a brief panic, lashing out with her legs to kick open the pod with a violent burst as she scrambled out of the pod and on to the beach. She barely registered where she was before she was making her way to the cave entrance. Somehow, she'd managed to keep hold of the box and pamphlet she woke up with.

The sandy blonde woman didn't calm down until she had the water far behind her and the sky over head at the cave entrance and only then did she start to really consider where she was...and felt annoyed that someone had dared to relocate her in her sleep!

She wanted answers and thankfully there was a conveniently placed hologram to help... Anyone strolling by would find a slightly impatient new arrival that didn't seem all that happy with the information being provided. But, at least she was smart enough to put on the necklace?

[Sometime after her arrival and finding her lodgings...Li decided to try out her phone. It wasn't the first time she's had one. It's just the first time she hasn't stolen one off some pour soul.]

So, Let me get this straight. Some jackass pulled me from where I was yesterday and put me here with a bunch of other people and now I'm trapped. Fucking hell that sounds like the story of my life right now.

So, despite what the white hologram princess said, I only have one question. Where does someone get a decent barbecue around here? I'm partial to pulled pork personally. It's the closest to what I'd normally eat.

[Hana hummed] I'm Hana~ And yeah those apartments are super duper cramped, but they do have nifty tools in there! Like the cooling box or-OR! The Doom Heating box!

But ah..you're a carnivore? Oooh or perhaps a vampire then? There's many places for blood or meat-at..least from what I hear. I don't really...ah..

Any! You can head to Everglade if you want very exotic meats or even blood! And in Nova City there's just lots of variety..oh-oh! I can say from people that Fayren's got reaally fresh meats too.

[pauses]

...Barbecue sounds like a Nova thing though..not sure, never had that sort before...hmmm..

[Li just kind of stares at Hana, taking that in and finding her curious when Everglade's mentioned. Especially wen it comes to exotic meats considering her usual food source.

That just meant she had to check it out.]

Well, I sure as hell don't need blood. Just meat. It's the only thing I can eat and finding a good food source or hunting ground is always a good priority to have.

[And she might introduce the kid to barbecue sauce at some point.Maybe.]

[..Then. An idea! Hana grinned widely]

Then..how about you take on a job I have? You hunt and gather things for the business you work at. I only eat souls, but you can find really really neat trinkets.

Just a thought if you want the thrill and something to eat.

Plus it'd be fun to have a buddy by my side~

And what do you mean you eat souls? How haven't they killed you yet? Humans hate things like us so why the hell are you willing to work with them.

I mean, I know they fear me sometimes so I must look human for them so they won't get scared. [Hana scratched her cheek, looking to the side]
