[Hopefully no one is surprised to see the sight of a skeleton back on the network, one that is probably the same one as always. Though this time any mirth and amusement has died out to look... almost bored. In the background is the familiar garish sight of a raffle wheel and another skeletal figure. Along with yet another body that has probably been through the same amount as ones before.
Which is why she's merely sighing, voice once again magically modulated in an attempt to be as unfamiliar as possible to her normal.]
I was going to make some grand gesture about how Everglade's guardian is another in a long line of those willing to look the other way and remain as status quo as possible, but that’s so... cliche and boring at this point, isn't it?
[All that fervor and heat from before is just... gone.]
I’ll put it this way, I'm-- we're bored.
[The other skeleton decided to pipe in here.]
After all, there are only so many of these fake people that we can play with before things get old. So we're opening up our little game to some new players~ If any care to show up anyway~
[He gets close to the other skeleton and, more importantly, the camera as he talked. His inability to be sincere or even acted showed through here as he he was a bit more animated than his sister, as though trying to overly demonstrate his boredom.]
[Oh, she's biting back a laugh at that, a bony hand covering her mouth.]
As he said, we're... looking for some people that might be interested in playing with us~ It’s a fair enough game, I think. You find us, you play a few of our games to show us just how much you're willing to sacrifice in order to win whatever you name, and if you manage to get through them... Then you win. Simple enough and just that straightforward. The only catch to it is that, well, if you don’t say stop then we don't guarantee you'll make it out alive or with your sanity intact. Just a danger of the game, after all.
[She's glancing over to her brother and just grinning at him.]
Did you have anything else to add?
[He is grinning right back.]
Not really. Just... Come and get us, baby~

My name is Satou Kuroneko, and I'm a Detective here in Everglade. You said something about having concerns about the Guardianship here? I may not be able to fix things overnight, but I can do my best to listen to your concerns and bring them up?
[also, she's flipping through her law book. is their game illegal? it sounds so illegal?]
There's only one way to settle those sorts of concerns and I'm afraid that it's something we'd have to do ourselves. But for now, we're honestly just content in the Guardian and her Deputies keeping their noses out of our game~ It's completely on the up-and-up, you see, people will know the risks before they play~ [She's far too fucking good at lying, honestly.]
no subject
I don't know if it's entirely legal to gamble with people's safety. So maybe I should stay on stand-by, in case things get ugly? [dumb smile.] As for your concerns, I appreciate that maybe you don't have faith in the system here. But I'm sure we can do something to help address your concerns, and fix things together.
no subject
Gambling isn't illegal here, I don't believe. And if someone has been informed of the dangers and continues to play, then that's a legal issue on their end, not our's. They were told and they decided to do it anyway~
Trust me, this is something we've done before and we've never had problems with it before. We may look all mean and scary, but this game is just amusement all around~ The only way someone gets hurt is if they don't know their limitations or choose to go that route. We don't force it on them. [All lies, but she's not about to tell the truth.]
no subject
In fact, we try to warn them if we think they might be going to far~ The warning we gave here is like...The release of liability that people have to sign to go to a rock climbing gym. And our game is no more dangerous than that if people play it well!
no subject
[ Wait that sounds wrong... ]
You need better hobbies.
no subject
We're siblings, why would we ever do something as disgust as that?~
And nah, we're quite fond of our hobbies, been that way for quite some time.
no subject
Siblings. right, I can see the resemblance.
Who's going to be stupid enough to agree to your games?
no subject
Oh come on now, just because I mentioned a chance of death doesn't mean it's going to happen or that it's intentional~ It's more something to cover our asses if someone doesn't play the game properly by not listening. Everything in the world has a chance of death if not done properly, doesn't it?
Depends on the bet, too, I suppose. Someone just asking for money or a minor item isn't going to have as hard of a game as someone asking for something such as bringing a loved one back from the dead or healing a dying body. It's just common sense that the game has to fit the price.
no subject
Not everything. Checkers, for example. It's a perfectly safe and boring as hell game. But I see your point. higher the reward higher the sacrifices.
How do we know your'e not going to cheat to make people lose? Otherwise you won't get much fun out of this.

But if you want money? We have money. A particular kind of item? We can probably swing that, too. Something a little less tangible? Perhaps.
Just tell us what you want and we can see if it's possible, darling~
Re: Video.
Re: Video.
Now, now, we don't murder people here. Not intentionally, if someone dies then it was their own mistake by not following the rules for their safety. Not that we've killed anyone here, we've been very careful here since we don't know how much people here can handle~
And no, I'd rather not go anywhere. Good luck finding us, darling.

[Someone please save Rose.]
Video
We've been saving up for a bit and do have different channels we can go through and prefer to customize to each person that comes through~
Meaaaaaning just tell us if there's something your heart desires and we'll see if that's possible.
Video
Oh, you're hoping for really big bets then. I'm pretty sure I couldn't cover anything like that.
Video
She's briefly shrugging, not seeming particularly bothered either way.]
Big bets, small bets, it doesn't really matter. We've had people ask for things like money to asking for things like bringing someone back for them. The latter isn't really possible here, but that's why we ask. If we can't do it, then we're not going to say we can. [Except they will.]

Can you at least.....disguise the trap a little better?
Re: Video
This isn't a trap, it's a perfectly winnable game~
[And in his years of experience people show up whether they know its a trap or not, so...]
We'd appreciate it if you didn't spread such awful lies.

[And this shit. This stinks.]
Also, you're a fucking skeleton.
