Between all of the death, destruction, politics, competitions, and general lack of anything resembling a decent day of relaxation, I've decided that I'm going to host a party. Not a big one, not for any particular occasion, but it's just going to be a bunch of people coming together to have a good time, recover, and if any of you have anything you would like to add that falls under the category of relaxing and letting go of some stress, let me know so we can plan it out appropriately. A live band would be especially desired.

[ A paper copy of the invitations will be delivered to everyone's mailbox in a fashion that breaks no windows whatsoever and is probably quite refreshing. On the back of the paper copy are directions to the block between Oak & 8th and Nettle & 8th. ]

As you may have noticed, there are currently two candidates for City Guardian. I wouldn't exactly endorse either of them, but one of them I do want to make sure each of you know something about. If it ever comes to fighting against her, and I'm not saying it will but if it does, don't use anything based in fire or electricity unless you want her to win.

I don't know that it'll come to that and don't tell her I said anything either. Professor Ozpin said not to judge either of them based on their pasts, so I'm not, but I'm just saying! If one of them tries to burn down the city, I'd rather we at least have how not to get killed straight away.

Also, I need to speak to each of you about your roles in my party. [ Yes, she is entirely volunteering anyone in her team to help with this. ]

Good. With how many different cultures people have here, I'm sure there are plenty of people who don't know about each others' sports.

It will also be fun to learn, unlike lessons where she sit and listen. Instead we learn as we go.

I think both are important ways to learn something, but doing it as you go can be effective.

[ Of course, she's the type to memorize exactly everything she needs before she needs to use it. ]

Exactly. I mean I'm better at sports and that's how you learn those types of things. I mean there are those who can learn by actually reading and studying, but I'm more the physical type.

I'm from an academy for huntsmen and huntresses, so I make it a point to excel in both types of learning.

An academy for what now?

Huntresses and huntsmen.

Is that something that hunts something? I assume by he name.

We hunt the creatures of Grimm, or just about anything the police and military can't handle. Grimm are soulless monsters that constantly try to kill us all out.

So basically you do hunt something that threatens peoples lives. That's pretty cool really. Makes me think of video games.

Well, we will once we graduate. Most of our fighting is self-defense in the field or in a controlled setting until we're ready.

[ Most of it. The other portion is bad things they get themselves involved in. ]

That makes sense, but I would have never expected a school like that to exist. But I guess such a thing does in your world, which is good if there are things in that world that cause harm.

There's more than one academy throughout the different kingdoms, but yes. Even if we're in a time of peace, it takes effort to maintain that peace.

So it would be a case of you always gotta have someone there just in case? Which actually makes total sense by the way.

I think this was a rather interesting conversation, but I think I should get going. Got things to do.
