[Everglade is where he lingers, the tip of his wand lit. He is in the process of searching, pausing now and then to cut leaves from surrounding foliage. Should anyone come upon him, they will find themselves briefly frozen by a spell.

Did he even move his wand? The real question should be: does he need to? No, Gellert is too fine of a Wizard to rely on such a rudimentary implement - though you will have to pry the Elder wand from his cold, dead fist. ~~Unless you are Albus Dumbledore.]~~

Well - given the mathematical variables of the multiverse, which are nearly infinite - you could be anything from you've demonstrated.

[As Gellert looks over Ten one last time; maybe Gellert sees that despite such a young face - those eyes are old. There's a small appreciative smile when let out of the body bind and Ten then softly remarks with a wise man's voice]

[Even if they look human but that goes unsaid and to be fair - lots of aliens in the Who!universe live for centuries too that aren't humans]

I'm not the first, the second and definitely not the third. [Gellert smiles slowly, bringing forth some floating orbs of light around them.]

The last is a good fit since I seem to have a talent for Magic.

[Ten watches the floating orbs of light appear; and it makes him inwardly twitch - with things that look like magic because even with all his time here doesn't believe magic is based in nothing. Even The Eternals; based their 'magic' in numbers. As far as this considered; someone is just able to manipulate the light molecules together into an actual form.

Ten just stands there- not impressed, nor scared. Just casually with his hands in his pockets]

[The orbs are beautiful in their own way. Gellert is fond of the sapphire blue hue and the way they flicker, looking like small, ghostly flames.]

Now we can see. [He twirls his wand between his fingers.] My name is Gellert Grindelwald.

[They are beautiful but then; The Doctor finds everything natural - minus death- having its own lovely charm]

[At the name - it couldn't be. Though; maybe with Albus being here makes sense]

[Death can be lovely too. The Killing Curse, at least, has a dangerous sort of charm. No other spell is quite that shade of green.]

I see. When you say it that way, it does sound impressive. [He smiles pleasantly.] Do you have a problem with Magic, Doctor?

When others don't believe thar aren't drawbacks to it.

[In other words; being perfect and solves everything and just that he's a man of science; very advanced science beyond the realm of even advanced human civilization understanding. Sure - humans will explore beyond their solar system but won't achieve transcendental technology (aka bigger on the inside) in The Doctor's universe; but in Bulma's and Trunk's universe, they have. Which Ten was butthurt about and gleaming in pride at the same time]

There are drawbacks to everything. I would say Magic has fewer than most natural occurrences.

[That's right. Natural. Gellert will never think there is anything odd about what he and his fellows can do.]

[Without waiting for an answer; pulls out his sonic screwdriver which makes an interesting sound but does turn on all the street lamps that were off.

Which is then what wand Gellert is holding onto with his fingers. His face doesn't change but inwardly is going CRAP. He's so thankfully; that he can hide his thoughts from Gellert at will]

If you wish. [He narrows his eyes at the contraption, confused by it. But the street lamps obviously react to it - whatever it is - and he approves.

He is about to congratulate the Doctor when he senses a...shift. Not that he can understand the cause of it.]

Your wand is strange. [That is obviously meant as a tease.]

[Ten pops his mouth]

It's not like we choose the wand. The wand chooses us.

[He bites back a laugh.]

Sometimes we steal the wand, too.

But does the wand respect us then?

[There's nothing strange about talking about how his sonic is alive; considering they're grown inside The Tardis]

The wand will work once you prove your mastery of it. [He stole the Elder wand - not in a duel - but it responds to him readily enough. The wand maker who had it hadn't owned it.]

Oh? And how do you go on proving mastery of it?

Casting spells, forcing your will upon it. A Wizard can be stronger than their wand.

[He's tempted; very tempted to give a lecture on how power isn't the right way but also knows he does not have the upper hand here - sure he could cause a distraction if he pokes a button but - what happened with Martha when they visited Shakesphere with Lilith and how her 'DNA replication module' nearly killed him and knows Gellert wouldn't hesitate to use Avada Kedavra on him - which does aim for the heart - and has a chance to play dead and survive that but living with one heart is awful, even if it was just a few moments and The Doctor already gave up some of himself here - so the effects would probably be even worse. Ten decides to calmly state]

What would Albus Dumbledore think of that?

How do you know Dumbledore? [He isn't calm anymore. He is tense, like an animal who sees their doom racing towards them. The only one who can stop him - who can defeat him - is Albus. Yet it is so much more complicated than that.]

I've read his works. Absolutely brilliant man. Don't know him personally but I did meet him in a person a few weeks ago, here.
