Indian Summer Illusion: New residents, New villain, New anniversary [Video open/Action closed]

August is a great month of the year, isn't it?

[She sounds dreamy, and she might be blushing a little.]

I would have liked to be able to tell him that.

[She suddenly realizes the feed is open. She blinks and then simply smiles.] I've heard people celebrate anniversaries by offering something that corresponds to the number of years. Like... 50 years corresponds to gold, 60 years correspond to diamonds,... But I couldn't find a book about it.

Could one of you help me figure out what 3 years mean?

I believe you all saw this. Qubine, the villain in question is the guy who made the recent anonymous posts against heroes and guardians. I wanted to inform you that Aizawa - and probably some of his students - is going to be moving to Fairy Haven, for his protection. This means we need to be careful and keep an eye out for this villain.

According to the information I could gather, he's a human male, he has light blue hair and a disembodied hand covering his face. Though I suspect it's mostly a way to hide his true identity when actin as a villain, so he might not wear the hand all the time. Let me know if you notice any new arrival who'd match this description.

[Mavis is waiting by the entrance of Fairy Haven. She's watching the horizon intently. Suddenly, she claps her hands happily and turns around.]
Mira! Erza! I think I see them! Want to come with me and show them their new 'classroom' and their beds in the dorms? Tatlyn and Zeref, you're welcome to come too.
[Though she's not sure Zeref will want to.]

Well that all depends on whether or not you want it to be a surprise. If you do, there are plenty of other things in that genre I could get for you that still for the theme.

[There's many reasons Mirajane earned the nickname 'the demon' in Fairy Tail. As much as she wishes she could continue this interesting line of conversation to find out what other kinds of scandalous things Mavis and Zeref do behind closed doors, Mirajane is a loyal member of Mavis' guild above all else, and wants to help her make her anniversary special.]

Hmm... If only Natsu was here, I think he'd be very good at melting glass to be shaped into things. Probably not quite as good as Gray with his ice make magic, but... I was thinking a glass sculpture of some kind might be a nice idea. Perhaps something that has personal meaning for the two of you, perhaps you can even use your illusion magic on a glass sculpture to make your own personalized work of art for him.

[Mirajane claps her hands together, an idea finally forming that's perfect for Mavis.]

OH! What if you make him a snow globe?! Not your typical snow globe mind you, but one that when you shake it, it shows an illusionary depiction of your favorite memories with him! I can probably help create a Lacrima that would be able to hold the images for you if you'd like an extra helping hand!

That sounds great. You think you could help me with this?

[Mirajane was now feeling a bit guilty she didn't make this private before she suggested the idea, but hopefully Zeref wouldn't see it, or at least would still be surprised by the memories chosen, or the quality, or other details that could still be kept private between her and the master.]

Of course! You helped me with my Christmas present for Erza last year, it seems only fair that I help you in turn! It's been a while since I've worked on making lacrima, and I'm not sure if the magic of Fayren is quite the same as Fiore, so constructing it may be a little tricky, but once it's ready it'll be your job to create the illusions necessary, your magical power to make it hold, and of course your memories.

How many different memories do you want to try to put in here? Just one? I might be able to manage up to ten depending on the length of the memory, the complexity of the illusion, and whether or not you want any of the illusions to be private for yours and his eyes only.

[It helped that Mirajane was the S class mage that ran most of the guild's functions back home, so her area of expertise was quite wide. She'd helped Master Makarov with many of the Fantasia celebration decorations, and this was similar but quite a bit more complex since with Mavis level of illusion magic they could do a lot more than what the local shopkeepers could manage.]

Mmm... I think 3 memories would be enough. It's a 3-year anniversary present after all.

Ooh, that sounds rather clever. Three memories for a three year anniversary, and it should make my job at least a little easier. Of course since you want them to be private that'll still make it a little more challenging, but I think I can manage.

[Mirajane seems to be scrounging around for something before finally pulling out a large gilttering crystal ball.]

Would you like to have a stand commissioned for it? Or do you want to it to simply be something you hold in your hands? If you're not feeling picky I have a pretty cheap one I use, but for something like this I think it deserves something a bit more special. I can even weld the globe to the stand if you like.

[She waves the thought away absently since it's a pretty minor detail in the grand scheme of things.]

Now the most important thing is I'm going to need a strand of hair from each of you that I can intertwine together so that only the two of you will be able to see the images within. I'm sure you can probably steal one from him without him noticing, or simply ask him for one.

But I'm super curious, what do you plan to put in there?!

A nice stand would be cool. But no, don't weld the globe to it. I'd like for him to be able to pick it up.

A hair? ...I guess I can just take one from his hair brush, right?

Well... I don't know yet. But I think one of the memories should be us watching the fireworks together during the beach festival.
